The CoverGirl 50th Anniversary Celebration Brings Out The Stars

The CoverGirl 50th Anniversary Celebration yesterday in West Hollywood drew its fair share of stars. Drew Barrymore, who we adore, turned up in a bright orange Jil Sander that just missed the mark. We love the color, but we don’t get the weird elastic band around her knees? Also…what’s up with the two-tone hair, Drew? Otherwise, love you, as usual.

The brand’s latest CoverGirl, Taylor Swift also made an appearance, posing for photos with Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. Tay looked lovely in a strapless, sequined black dress, but the usual sparkle was missing in her smile, probably due to her split with Jake Gyllenhaal. Other celebrities included Sofia Vergara and Queen Latifah (wearing sunglasses and sneakers), plus starlets like Lauren Conrad, Whitney Port, Amber Riley, Jessica Lowndes and Sophia Bush. Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett and hubby Hank Baskett were hanging out too, with plenty of other ladies! Check them all out in the gallery below and tell us who was dressed best (and worst)?

Another One [Tree Hill Marriage] Bites The Dust

One Tree Hill star Jana Kramer is divorcing husband Johnathon Schaech after one month of marriage. While normally, a month-long marriage is news in itself (hey, we have piles of dirty laundry sitting at home that are older than that), the fact is, this is the latest in a long line of One Tree Hill actors whose nuptials weren’t cut out for the long haul.

Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush who both appear on the show were married for just five months. James Van Der Beek appeared on the show in 2009, the same year he and his ex-wife Heather Ann McComb called it quits. Hilarie Burton was divorced in 2008 (although she has been involved with Jeffrey Dean Morgan since last year and just had a baby with him). Paul Johansson divorced in 2005. And special guest star Kevin Federline who appeared on the show in 2008 might just be the most famous divorceé of all.

Is there a divorce curse on this show or what? It sure seems like it. The same way people kept dying and creepy things would happen on the set of The Exorcist, One Tree Hill seems cursed to bring mayhem to all those around it (er, ok, maybe just divorce lawyers). To the rest of the cast and any future guest stars of this show, don’t say we didn’t warn you: you might want to consider a pre-nup to go with your acting contract.

Blake Takes The Plunge At Pippa Lee Party

Blake Lively looked like a wedding cake with cleavage at a screening for The Private Lives Of Pippa Lee last night in NYC. Just the kind of relaxing ensemble you want to wear while watching yourself lie naked with Alan Arkin onscreen. “Well, I think it’s uncomfortable, laying in strategically placed clothes that are taped on your body, in front of some strangers,” said Lively about her intimate scenes with the 75-year-old Oscar winner. “We’re all actors, we’re all professionals and we all understood what was happening. Everybody is uncomfortable with those scenes. You’re never going to be comfortable being half-naked in front of anyone. But, it was fine. It was a short scene.”

Sadly, Arkin wasn’t around to share more camera time last night, though co-stars Robin Wright and Keanu Reeves did attend, as well as well-wishers Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard and Daniel Day-Lewis, whose wife Rebecca Miller directed the film. Check out their styles in the gallery below.

Gaga Goes To Washington

Pop star du jour Lady Gaga continued her crusade for marriage equality this weekend in Washington DC. She spoke at the National Equality March before roughly 250,000 LGBT activists and straight allies. During her passionate address, she stated that speaking at the march was the single most important moment in her career. While her speech was mostly poised and poignant, her trademark Gaga outrageousness surfaced at one point, as she screamed “ARE YOU LISTENING?!?” to President Obama. A source that was in the midst of the crowd on the Mall said she had the otherwise-rowdy crowd captivated in silence as she spoke. You go Gaga! [Photo: Splash New Online]

The quest for marriage equality was nationwide yesterday as celebrities Sophia Bush, Emmy Rossum, Perez Hilton, Kelly Osbourne and others marched in West Hollywood to protest Prop 8.

Pamela’s Panties, Lauren’s Spikes Steal The Hollywood Style Awards

Talk about truth in advertising. Pamela Anderson reminded everybody what real Hollywood style was at the Hollywood Style Awards in LA last night, baring her panty-clad crotch on the red carpet to the non-delight of her stylist’s daughter, who somehow got the unlucky job of holding Pam’s train. Other modern style icons at the event included Lauren Conrad, Hayden Panetierre, and Kim Kardashian‘s ass. Check out all these ladies’ looks and more in the gallery below. Watch out for Lauren’s “spiked” heels, though! That literalization is gonna hurt somebody.

One Tree Hill Love Triangle Confirmed By Chad Michael Murray

Rumors have swarmed around One Tree Hill stars Sophia Bush and James Lafferty for a while now, but it took a slip from co-star (and ex-husband of Bush) Chad Michael Murray during an interview with CW Morning News to confirm their relationship.

Now it’s just easy, you know you’re just friends and she’s got James and James and I are friends, so it’s like one of those things…

Yeah, one of those things where you marry your co-worker, annul the marriage five months later, and then—a couple years later—accidentally (or not?) out your ex’s months-long secret relationship with another co-worker. Who hasn’t been in that kind of situation?

Meanwhile, signs point to One Tree Hill gearing up for a seventh season. Maybe Bush can sink her teeth into Lee Norris before the inexplicably long-lived show finally goes off the air. Mmmmm…Lee Norris.
