The 30 Best Dressed Stars Of 2011: Vote For Your Favorite Now!

How did we come up with this list of 30 best dressed stars for 2011? Many hours of poring through pictures of premieres, award shows, concerts, events … you name it, we saw it. We also think it’s a pretty diverse list covering our favorites and yours. Will you vote for bombshells like Jennifer Lopez or Sofia Vergara, whose Modern Family co-star, Sarah Hyland, has also made it onto the polls. Or for gamine pixies like Zooey Deschanel, Michelle Williams and Carey Mulligan? If you prefer the ingenues, then Chloe Moretz, Hailee Steinfeld and Jennifer Lawrence are on the list as well. The best clotheshorses in H’town are included and they’re the type who look perfectly at home (translation: drop dead gorgeous) in designer wear. We’re talking about women like Anne Hathaway, Zoe Saldana, Olivia Wilde, Amber Heard, Mila Kunis and Blake Lively. The latter’s new boyfriend’s ex, Scarlett Johansson is up for the win, making this an interesting face-off!

Selena Gomez’s Mother Suffers A Miscarriage

Sad news to report. GossipCop reports that Selena Gomez‘s mother, Mandy Dawn Cornett, has suffered a miscarriage. This was going to be Mandy’s first child with husband Brian Teefey, who is Selena’s stepfather, and the whole family was ecstatic over the news. The singer had even tweeted the happy news late last month, writing, “Momma and Brian are finally letting me share the news… My mommys carrying my baby brother or sister …” The tragedy apparently occurred on Saturday. Selena has cancelled concerts in Chicago and Seattle that were scheduled over the weekend and today so she she can be with her family. Our thoughts go out to them during this difficult time.

Gaga Leads Our Top 5 Best-Dressed Stars At The MTV EMAs

It was slim pickings out there. The MTV Europe Music Awards 2011 took place in Belfast, Ireland, yesterday, and the red carpet wasn’t exactly filled with the best fashion. Still, we’re quite happy with this list of best-dressed stars. And to our surprise, Lady Gaga is one of them. We agree that the blue-gray lipstick is a bit much for a normal person. But this is Gaga so it’s tame for her standards, right? More important, look at her dress. It’s almost architectural looking, as if it’s been created from flat silver cubes and way more interesting than what anyone else wore. She wins, period.

The rest of the shortlist includes Selena Gomez who looked beautiful in an ivory, ruffled Marchesa gown with a very sexy back. Irina Shayk wore emerald earrings and a dual-fabric gown with a thigh-high slit, and Hayden Panettiere rocked a Tibi black-and-white silk twill dress. Very French maid, but with a twist. Rounding off the list is Adam Lambert and God bless him for his sky-high quiff and bright blue shoes. Did we get our selection right? Those Beliebers say the darnedest things! When 20-year-old Mariah Yeater leveled paternity claims against Justin Bieber, she should have realized that she was going up against his fiercely protective fan-base. The singer has a militantly loyal army of that numbers over 14 million strong, and you really don’t want to mess with ‘em. In the past some have made serious threats against Justin’s girlfriend Selena Gomez, and even platonic lady-friend Kim Kardashian.

Now they’re furious at the woman who attempted to sully their idol’s reputation with what they believe to be a bogus baby claim. So the disgruntled Beliebers are taking to Twitter, the Internet’s giant high school cafeteria, to vent their anger. The majority of these messages were clearly written through tears of blind rage on the Biebs behalf, and are mean-spirited and a little scary. But amazingly, the tweets aren’t all just typo-ridden hate speak. In fact, some are actually pretty funny, and have introduced us to enriching new words like “Bieberconda” and “Biebergasm.” Who knew? Here’s the thing: We’re sure The Thing is a great movie and you should all totally go and see it and stuff, but Selena Gomez wore these sparkly hot pants to the premiere in Hollywood last night. Needless to say, that kind of diverted our attention a bit. The fact that she’s not even in the movie doesn’t make a single bit of difference. Barring the security, paparazzi, screaming fans and a helicopter waiting for them, this would have been such a normal couple moment. Some people want to raise their kids Catholic, others wish to raise them Jewish. But Justin Bieber knows for sure that he wants to raise his offspring Canadian. Yes, like a shaggy headed salmon returning upstream, the teen superstar has told TMZ that he eventually wants to settle down in his native Canada to raise his children. “I think it would be cool to get a condo out here [in LA],” he admitted. “But eventually I’m going to want to move back to Canada and raise my family up there. I’m Canadian and I want my kids to be Canadian, eh!” We’re sure that Canadian immigration is about to get flooded with visa applications from teenage girls worldwide.
