New York Fashion Week: Which Stars Are Taking Style Seriously?

It’s Day Two of New York Fashion Week, and the celebrity sightings are starting to pile up — no small feat, given that it’s also the beginning of Grammy Awards weekend in Los Angeles, and we’re sure those parties are tempting many a famous face away from this coast. But up at Lincoln Center, the stars who know that what they (and their stylists) choose for them to wear on the red carpet and on the way to the grocery store has an impact on their overall image, and, dare we say? their career as well. So, who have we seen in the front rows so far? Shailene Woodley (kind of surprising, since she told us she only wears second-hand clothing), Alexa Chung and Kristen Chenoweth took in the pretty purples and blues of the Honor show. Abigail Breslin, Megan Hilty and Angela Simmons watched the Cynthia Rowley show together. Kellan Lutz was with Matt Czuchry, Chris Lowell and the NY Knicks’ Landry Fields for Joseph Abboud. Recently resurfaced former child star Anna Chlumsky was backstage at Houghton. Taylor Momsen was snapped roaming in the lobby today. And then there are the afterparties. Vanessa Hudgens, Rose McGowan, Giants star Victor Cruz and Eve were among the revelers at the Leila Shams party last night. Come back all week long for more pics of the stars getting their style on.

Stars Flock To The CFDA Vogue Awards

The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards took place on Monday night at the Skylight in New York. Young Hollywood was well rep’d by the likes of Amanda Seyfried, Joe Jonas, Chloe Moretz, Mia Wasikowska, Zoe Kravitz and Olivia Wilde. It was couple’s night as well with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, La La and Carmelo Anthony, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell and Cobra Starship‘s Gabe Saporta with designer Erin Featherstone making an appearance. The event was presided over by the steely eyes of Anna Wintour, so you know everyone rethought their outfits at least five times before heading out.

Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn‘s parody of the Worst Wedding DJ Ever for Funny Or Die may have an obvious payoff, but we’re kind of entranced by how enthusiastically O’Connell bongos on his wife’s breasts. The original guy may have hated his job, but Jerry looks like he could drum away all night. Who knew that the chubby kid from Stand By Me would wind up a stud with a permanent grin and a smoking hot wife who doesn’t mind him banging out a “Moby Dick” on her body for our amusement (ok, that sounds dirtier than we meant it too). Flashback Lunch: Christian Slater, Ladies’ Man

Hard to believe, but someone’s trying to make a musical comedy out of Heathers, the ’80s cult smash about classic about a teenage killing spree. At a recent reading, Reefer Madness: The Musical stars Kristin Bell and Christian Campbell played Veronica and J.D., Winona Ryder and Christian Slater‘s breakout roles. Both seem a little old for the parts, but we can live with Kristin. Christian Campbell, though? Nuh uh. There’s only one Christian that’s going to play J.D. He may be the star of a failed NBC drama now, but Slater rocked Heathers so hard that he spent most of the next decade partying with the hottest actresses and models around despite flops like Mobsters and Kuffs. They better find a fresh unknown for the role, because no one famous could pump up the volume like Slater.

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell Have Twins

Ugly Betty actress Rebecca Romijn (remember when she was married to John Stamos?) and Crossing Jordan star Jerry O’Connell (remember when he was the fat kid in movies like Stand By Me?) have announced the birth of daughters Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip. The twins, born on Dec. 28th, are the couple’s first. Namesake Dolly Parton must be ecstatic.

Rebecca Romijn To Name Her Baby After Dolly Parton

Rebecca Romijn, currently pregnant with twins, isn’t uttering celebrity favored descriptions of pregnancy like, “I feel the most beautiful I have in my entire life.” No, the Ugly Betty star feels differently. “I can’t move right now. I’m a beached whale,” she tells Page Six Magazine. She also has a fear of saggy boobs. “I have not been without a bra this entire pregnancy. I refuse. I’m not taking any chances. I’m determined to keep the puppies up!” she says.

Naming Of Romijn And O’Connell Twins A Cliffhanger

There will be no little Zuma’s (Gwen Stefani‘s new baby) or Gia’s (Matt Damon‘s latest offspring) for actor Jerry O’Connell, but he’s willing to get creative. While discussing possible names he and actress wife Rebecca Romijn might give their twins, due in four months, the expectant father had a few ideas. “We were joking about calling them Mary-Kate and Ashley,” O’Connell told Us Magazine.

We doubt that he considered the fact that, well, Mary-Kate and Ashley … Full House … John Stamos, uh, that might be weird considering his wife’s name was once Rebecca Romijn-Stamos. He also said he and Romijn discussed “maybe rhyming” the names. “But then is that a little Hansel & Gretel?” he asked. Actually, if you think about it … no?

Rhyming skills aside, Jerry is thrilled that he will be having two little girls, saying: “I’m really excited about having girls. I know guys are supposed to say, ‘I want a boy,’ [but] I just have a feeling I’m going to be good with girls.” [Photo: Splash News Online]
