Last night, Alicia Keys continued her work to solve the AIDS crisis, hosting the 8th Annual Keep a Child Alive Black Ball at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. While helping to fund research, treatment and care for those affected by AIDS, the guest were treated to performances by the likes of Keys, Usher, Mary J. Blige, will.i.am and more. The evening also honored the late Beatle and philanthropist George Harrison. Our invite was surely lost in the mail, but we’re content to gaze upon the stars’ best red-carpet fashions. Check out the stunning (not all-black) looks worn by Tyra Banks, Chanel Iman, Kerry Washington and more in the gallery below.

Celebrities Show Their Support At The Samsung Hope For The Children Gala
The Samsung Hope for the Children Gala, held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York, was a star-studded affair. Plenty of celebrities showed up to lend their support for the cause including Demi Moore who looked lovely in a Louis Vuitton dress and sexy, strappy Jimmy Choo heels. Giving her a run for her money (and winning) was Jennifer Lopez is an amazing fuchsia Temperley London number. Selita Ebanks was working her gown too, but we’re not feeling that new blond short ‘do on her. She beamed happily with Jason Mraz and Estelle at cocktails, so she’s okay with it! Also seen were John Legend, Padma Lakshmi, Marc Anthony who posed alongside his diva wife, and Kevin Jonas with his better half, Danielle Deleasa. Take a look at all the pictures in the gallery below.

Halle Berry, Fergie And More Turn Up The Heat At The Fifi Awards
We know that the word “fifi” doesn’t really inspire sex appeal, but the Fifi Awards are a pretty big deal, whether or not they sound frou-frou—this annual show is one of the most prestigious events of the fragrance industry. Halle Berry took at up a notch at the 2011 awards, yesterday in NYC, wearing an incredibly sexy asymmetrical cut-out dress by Halston with Christian Louboutin heels! Halle won the Fragrance Celebrity of the Year award for her scent “Reveal”, as well. So she dressed in honor of its name? Because this is pretty “reveal-ing”, no?
Don’t mind if we sound jealous. We aren’t really. We’re actually in awe of that stomach! And the rest of that body, for that matter. Halle was in good company at the show with the likes of Mary J. Blige, Fergie, Kate Walsh and Padma Lakshmi around, and we have to say, everyone was spiffily dressed. Fergie especially, in a flowing canary yellow BCBG Max Azria Atelier gown with a turquoise clutch. She won New Fragrance Celebrity of the Year Award for her perfume “Outspoken”. We don’t know why Paz de la Huerta decided to wear no make-up and scowl throughout, so we’re just going to focus on Mary’s awesome Gucci dress. Take a look at the pictures below and give us your verdict.

So Many Celebs, So Much Fashion At WWD 100th Anniversary Gala

It would appear that anyone who has ever worn clothes was in attendance at the Women’s Wear Daily 100 Anniversary Gala last night. Fashionistas like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Iman, Anna Wintour, and Michael Kors were there, both Top Chef hosts, Padma Lakshmi and Katie Lee, were there (was that weird?), and then there were the total randos: Henry Kissinger, Jessica Szohr, Alex McCord. Seriously, elbow combinations you never dreamed of were rubbing last night. The one thing they had in common though was that everyone looked amazing. Check out our gallery to see what we mean.

Padma Lakshmi Gives Birth To A Daughter

Top Chef host, model, cookbook author, Salman Rushdie ex, and shiny scar advocate Padma Lakshmi is now a mom. Lakshmi gave birth to a daughter named Krishna Thea on Saturday and explained how she chose the name saying it comes from “someone in my family” and that she always planned to choose “a classically Indian Sanskrit name.”
Amazingly, she’s kept the father’s identity a secret for the duration of the pregnancy. Some reports claim the father is Adam Dell, a venture capitalist whose family runs the Dell computer company, while others have speculated that Padma’s ex-boyfriend Teddy Forstmann, owner of the IMG Talent Agency, is the dad. Hopefully the baby will look just like Padma and we’ll never know. [Photo: Getty Images]

Amber Rose And Coco Get Close At Good Hair Premiere

Is there such a thing as too much arm candy? Amber Rose and Coco, best known for respectively standing next to Kanye West and Ice-T on red carpets, got rather affectionate at an afterparty for Chris Rock‘s Good Hair in NY last night. Sadly, Mr. “I’d Do Anything For A Blonde Dyke” West wasn’t there to enjoy the moment, but stars ranging from Al Sharpton to Adrian Grenier to Ashanti (and a pregnant Padma Lakshmi!) were in attendance for the screening. Think anyone knew about that $5 million lawsuit against the film?
Check out who else showed up in the gallery below.
