Is Halle Berry Officially Engaged…And Dealing With Death Threats?

Congratulations, Halle Berry! Also, we are so very sorry! According to TMZ, this must be one confusing time for the Dark Tide star. While Halle is allegedly officially betrothed to gentleman friend Olivier Martinez a month after engagement rumors first popped up, the actress also allegedly received death threats from a named Robert Hoskins. Berry allegedly feels so threatened by Hoskins that she is hoping to move with daughter Nahla Ariela to Martinez’s native France. Is there a card for complicated situations like this? You know what? Nevermind. We’ll just get one that’s blank on the inside.

Sadly this isn’t the first time Halle has had to deal with aggressive stalkers; last July Berry had to filed a restraining order against a man named Richard Franco after he broke into her home..twice. Seeing as how Hoskins is the very same man who was shot by Madonna‘s bodyguards while attempting to break into the singer’s home in 1995, we’d say Halle has every right to be terrified. Why do stalkers have to ruin every engagement? Or even one of them?

Olivier Martinez’s Life-Long Search For The Perfect Woman Is Over; Halle Wins

Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry might be headed down the aisle soon if rumors are true, but Halle certainly isn’t Olivier’s first stunningly gorgeous lady friend. Or his first Academy Award-winning lovah. Angelina Jolie, Mira Sorvino and Kylie Minogue are just a few of the beautiful, talented, internationally known women Olivier has wooed in his lifetime. Ex Minogue even tweeted, “Congrats to Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry!! #wedding” today, rather than, say, “Burn in hell, Olivier #forever,” which seems like a great sign.

Now, we know we’re not genetically perfect or have Oscars lining or trophy case or anything, but if our ex had even so much as held hands Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, we’d have to hang up our dating pants right then and there. But this is Halle Berry, people! Not even starring in Catwoman can break her stride. Not even Catwoman.

Are Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez engaged? A few weeks ago, when she was photographed wearing a big emerald sparkler on her ring finger, the speculation was rampant. And now, People is saying it’s true — because a rep at Gurhan jewelry says Olivier did in fact give her a diamond and emerald engagement ring. (Side note: What is it with gossipy jewelers these days?)

Well, he bought the ring and she’s wearing it. But is that a confirmation that the couple, who have been dating since late 2010 after they met on the set of Dark Tide, are actually tying the knot? Maybe it’s just, like, a promise ring or something. After all, Halle did declare back in 2007 to InStyle: “I will never, never get married again. Actually, it’s just that now I’ve come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper.”

Nahla Aubry Could Not Be More Bored In Spain With Mom Halle Berry

No matter who you are, celebrity or normal human being, one thing remains true: nothing is more boring than hanging out with your mom and her dumb boyfriend with no other kids around. The expression worn by Halle Berry’s daughter Nahla while the three-year-old visited Palma de Mallorca, Spain with mom Halle Berry and Berry’s boyfriend Olivier Martinez is priceless. It’s also the international expression for, “If we have to go to one more museum or cute little boutique, I will collapse onto this cobble stone street and I will lose my mind in front of a crowd of horrified bystanders.” At least Nahla has that tiny pink bear to keep her company. At least she has that.

Someone Warn Her Boyfriend: Halle Berry Wants More Kids!

Custody fights, schmustody fights—time is running out! Halle Berry told the New York Post that she’s quite prepared to give baby daughter Nahla a sibling. “I’d love more children. I’m 44, so who knows how much longer I can wait?” We sure hope she let new boyfriend Olivier Martinez know about that ticking clock before they hooked up on the set of Dark Tide. After all, she just ended a four year relationship with model Gabriel Aubry, Nahla’s daddy, earlier this year.

Not that she necessarily needs Martinez help to make a new baby happen. With Aubry reportedly cranky about Halle’s rebound, it might be easier to get sole custody of Baby No. 2 before she or he is born. It’s a common choice among the members of the Baby Collecting Oscar Winner’s Club, which it sounds like Halle would be happy to join.

Is Halle Berry Getting It On With Another Insanely Hot French Guy? Sources Say “Oui.”

Halle Berry is proving to have a type these days: hot French guys. She and Gabriel Aubrey were together for a few years and now that they’ve split, Berry has moved on to Olivier Martinez, best known for lingering in our dreams for the year or so after we saw Unfaithful.

Berry and Martinez are shooting the upcoming film Dark Tide these days, and they’ve been spotted kissing offscreen during their down time. The shot above is just the pair cuddling on the set of the film in South Africa, but People reports that the pair took a romantic vacation to Paris where things heated up. The magazine describes what could possibly be the quintessential French weekend: the pair was spotted riding a motorcycle through the city, going to farmer’s markets, eating fancy dinners and making out in doorways. Is there anything more romantic than making out in a French doorway? No. No there is not. Color us jaloux.

Single Sienna Burns Up London With Leo, Josh and Olivier

Sienna Miller this weekend confirmed what we’d all suspected for a while – that it’s all off with baggage-heavy Balthazar Getty (frankly, we think she’s had a lucky escape…) But unlike most post-split chicks, Sienna gets to enjoy her newly-single status with a far more glamorous selection of available men – notably Olivier Martinez (above), Josh Hartnett and Leonardo DiCaprio. OK, so she didn’t hook up with any of these A-list studmuffins (not yet, anyway), but merely partied with them in London at a variety of parties.

Still, it beats what usually suffices for a post-breakup breakout night – cheap wine, long-suffering friends and then the predictable drink-dialling disaster. Now, just repeat after us Sienna – NO MORE MARRIED MEN.
