Okay, okay, Twi-hards, no need to get your Edward Cullen undies in a bunch! Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart merely posed for the paps at the premiere of New Moon in Los Angeles last night, while Robert Pattinson avoided perpetuating the Robsten gossip by flying solo down the red carpet. His shocked expression can probably be attributed to the hordes of crazed fans begging him to bite their neck. The entire New Moon cast showed up for the American premiere, including Dakota Fanning, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, and Anna Kendrick. Unsurprising Twilight fanatics like Emma Roberts and Jennifer Love Hewitt accompanied the cast on the carpet, as did closeted Twi-hard 50 Cent, proving no one is immune to the vampire craze.

The fashion was “dazzling,” with many of the ladies donning sequins, jewels, and sparkles. The guys went for a Mad Men-esque look with slim-fitting suits and skinny ties.

Missing from the red carpet was Rachelle Leferve, who tweeted “being fired from Eclipse tonight was just 2 emotional 4 me & I couldn’t manage it. So sorry.” Bryce Dallas Howard was cast to replace Leferve as “Victoria” in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. [Photos: Getty Images]

Before hitting it big time as Bella Swan, Kristen Stewart had already made a name for herself amongst movie critics. She nabbed four Young Artist Award nominations for her roles in Panic Room opposite Jodie Foster (2002), Cold Creek Manor (2003), Undertow (2004), and Into The Wild (2007). Though she’s now grown into a sizzlin’ young woman with millions of drooling fans, Stewart continues to take her work seriously, avoiding the party scene and keeping her love life (she’s rumored to be dating co-star Robert Pattinson) on the down low.

Cast members of the uber-popular Twilight movie series have begun arriving in Vancouver to start rehearsals for the third flick of the franchise, Eclipse. Fan favorites including Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, and Nikki Reed (who has moved on from Rob Pattinson to Paris Hilton dumpee, Paris Latsis) were joined at the airport by cast newbies Xavier Samuel and Bryce Dallas Howard. For a group of hot twenty-somethings with millions of obsessed fans at their fingertips, the crew appeared sullen and low-key as they sulked around the baggage claim. Ashley even made a poor attempt to hide behind her iPhone. Could they be overwhelmed by the recent re-casting drama plaguing the flick?

Noticeably absent from the group were the movie’s mega-stars, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart. Tay-Tay’s been busy shooting the rom-com Valentine’s Day, while one RPattz-obsessed Twitter claims the British actor will finish shooting Remember Me in NYC on Friday and then supposedly head to L.A. before landing in “The Couve” sometime next week. It’s been a while since we’ve thought about Paris Latsis, known for his inherited billions and for banging Paris Hilton. But now the heiress’ ex has reportedly moved on to a new leading lady, Twilight actress Nikki Reed. Apparently rumors have been swirling about the unlikely pair for a while, and anonymous friends confirmed the love match to E! Online. “They met about six months ago and have been together since,” said a pal. “The reason she traveled over to Greece was to be with [Paris].”

Nikki - who supposedly got sexy with Robert Pattinson while shooting Twilight - apparently bailed on hanging with her co-stars in Italy this spring to schmooze with Latsis and his Greek family. “Both families have met, and really like each other,” revealed another pal. “That’s how serious it’s getting between [Nikki and Paris]. Robert Pattinson is nowhere on the radar. She’s upgraded, in her mind.”

It’s been rumored for months that the two have been flirty, but Lainey Gossip is reporting that the broodish actor took the actress and screenwriter (she co-wrote Thirteen) back to his Vancouver hotel room last Monday — and allegedly Reed didn’t leave until the morning.
