Do your movies keep filling up the direct-to-DVD dollar bin? Do they often complete the phrase “the worst film since…”? Do they make less money than we did that time we went to a Coinstar? Well, don’t let that get you down, because you could still be in the running for Oscar glory! Every year, the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation names the most terrible films and performances of the year. Sure, it’s gotta hurt to be named the absolute worst of Hollywood, but just know that you’re in surprisingly good company. Did Natalie Portman Make A Return To Form On The SAG Awards Red Carpet?

We’ve missed Natalie Portman. She’s mostly been on the down low since the birth of her son, Aleph, and the lack of her presence on red carpets has been felt. After her so-so apperance at the Golden Globes, she appeared at the 2012 SAG Awards in this burgundy Giambattista Valli gown. We’re quite in love with it. It’s simple, the color is unusual, and the drape is perfect. She accessorized the outfit with gorgeous Harry Winston jewels and a sparkling Judith Leiber clutch. While we think that Natalie has finally made a return to form, there are a couple of questions we’d like to pose to you. Is it too simple? Is the detailing at the bodice too frou-frou and busy? Lily Collins Keeps Swan Trend Alive In New Snow White Pics

We got a quick glimpse of the wild costume-ball getup Lily Collins dons in her upcoming still-untitled Snow White movie last week. Now, the studio released a few more images from Tarsem Singh’s fantastical fairy-tale adaptation, and among them is a head shot (heads shot?) of Lily in the giant swan headdress. And it’s further proof of what fashion bloggers have been saying for some time now: swans are the new black.

Björk’s new album, Biophilia, drops tomorrow, and though she sold her infamous swan dress for charity years ago, we wish she would trot out the look once more on her publicity tour, just to say “Toldya so!” to the haters who mocked it back in 2001. And then Natalie Portman would bum-rush her interview and cut her. Sorry, don’t know how that story just spun out of control there. Report: Natalie Portman Names Baby Son Alef

Awww, cuteness! Natalie Portman‘s son’s name has leaked, thanks to Israeli TV program Good Evening With Guy Pines. According to the show, Natalie and fiance Benjamin Millepied gave their baby boy the Israeli name Alef, drawing from the first letter of the Israeli alphabet. Natalie was born in Jerusalem and holds dual American and Israeli citizenship. She gave birth to her little one in June. What we wouldn’t to be present when Alef sees Black Swan for the first time with his parents. So much awkward. Welcome to Hollywood, Alef!

Natalie Portman Gives Birth To A Baby Boy

Congratulations to proud parents Benjamin Millepied and Natalie Portman. It’s a baby boy for them! While People broke the news, they didn’t give any indication of when exactly the baby was born, or even when Natalie went into labor, or even what hospital they went to. Apparently, the actress’ rep isn’t picking up any calls either.

All we know is that it’s a boy … yay! But someone needs to start talking fast because we need to know more details. As does Ellen DeGeneres who tweeted less than an hour ago, “I’m so happy for my dance protégée Natalie Portman and her new baby boy! Congratulations!” Can’t wait to hear what they’re going to name him. Mazel Tov, mom and dad!

TheFABLife faves Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have won the honor two years running for their part in the Twilight series, and this year they face stiff competition from Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Ellen Page in Inception, Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One, and Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman in Black Swan. Twi-Bro Taylor Lautner is even making a play for the crown for his lip lock with K-Stew in Eclipse.

Review: It’s Thor‘s Day, I’m In Love

Compared to all of the superheroes in the Marvel universe, Thor has an uphill battle when it comes to connecting with an audience. Almost everyone has at least heard of Iron Man, Spider-Man, and the X-Men. Thor? Depending on how you look at it, the legendary Norse deity and his fellow Asgardians are either gods…or aliens beings worshiped by the ancient Vikings as gods. It’s a lot bigger pill to swallow than Tony Stark building himself a high-tech robo-suit to cruise around in, not to mention the fact that Iron Man has Robert Downey Jr.’s famous smirk behind it.

Luckily for the executives over at Paramount, Thor manages to introduce the comic mythology to the average moviegoer in a way that feels fresh and fun, rather than just plan silly. And believe me, the film easily could have gotten extremely silly. Let’s just say at least Tony Stark doesn’t require a rainbow bridge to traverse the universe. Despite the plot being essentially an updated version of The Sword in The Stone, Thor succeeds to due the charisma of devastatingly hunky leading man Chris Hemsworth and the beautiful visual universe created by the CGI professionals over at Marvel Studios. You don’t have to see Thor in 3D, but you certainly wouldn’t regret it if you do.

Benjamin Millepied Busts A Move For YSL

This sprightly high-kicker happens to be Benjamin Millepied, Natlalie Portman‘s fiance and babydaddy. We were wondering what the hell he was doing busting ballet moves out on the streets of New York, but as it turns out, he’s shooting a commercial for YSL. It’s a good thing Benjamin’s a ballet hotshot, because those moves could seriously damage a guys, uhhh, equipment. Not that there’s any problem with twinkletoes here, considering Natalie’s walking around with a massive baby bump. We wonder how many people he freaked out while filming this. It’s not often that you see a dude prancing around doing Swan Lake on the streets. Or is it? Hey… it’s New York!

The 2011 MTV Movie Award Nominations Are Out!

Oscar who? The nominees for the the 2011 MTV Movie Awards -the only award show that REALLY matters- are fresh off the presses today! The Twilight Saga’s Eclipse came out on top, grabbing a total of eight nominations, followed by Inception with seven, and Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 with six. All are nominated for Best Movie, along with (you guessed it) Black Swan and The Social Network.

SNL’s Jason Sudeikis is set to host this year’s show, which airs on Sunday June 5th at 9 PM from Los Angeles. And judging from the nominees, it’s going to be heavy on the heart-trobs. The Best Male Performance category will feature Robert Pattinson’s jawline going head to head with fellow Twi-Bro Taylor Lautner’s rock hard abs. But that’s not all! Wiz-kid hottie Daniel Radcliffe will also be weighing in as well as Hollywood Homecoming King Zac Efron for his role in Charlie St. Cloud. And Jesse “For The Last Time I’m Not Michael Cera” Eisenberg, well…he’s just happy to be included (for The Social Network, natch).

For the ladies, Emma Watson and Kristen Stewart rep their mega-blockbuster supernatural franchises (Harry Potter and Twilight, respectively), alongside Natalie Portman for her Academy Award winning role in Black Swan, Emma Stone in her not-Academy Award winning role in Easy A, and Jennifer Aniston for her performance in Just Go With It.
