Johnny Weir, Minka Kelly And Others Make Us Hopeful For Love In 2012

While Russell Brand and Katy Perry’s split on Friday put a damper on our celebratory mood over the weekend, we are happy to report that other famous couples are doing their best to renew our faith in romance. Here’s a little round-up of all the happy relationship news that happened over the weekend:

Johnny Weir and his lawyer boyfriend Victor Voronov got married. The figure skater tweeted, “I’m married!” on Saturday morning, and later told Real Housewives of New York vet Jill Zarin that they’d have a wedding this summer.

American Idol finalist James Durbin married his longtime girlfriend, Heidi Lowe, on Saturday in Santa Cruz. Their 2-year-old son, Hunter, was the ring bearer, and 85 guests attended the festivities, People reports.

Justin Timberlake, Minka Kelly, Kellan Lutz Heat Up GQ Men Of The Year Party

At last night’s party for the GQ Men of the Year, our friends over at MTV News asked a very important question: Who would win in a fight, GQ’s Men or People’s Sexiest Men?

“I’ll take on the whole entire cast of Parks and Recreation. I’ll leave Justin [Timberlake] to take care of Glee and Jimmy Fallon could karate-chop the rest of those guys,” GQ honoree Jay-Z joked. And Joe Manganiello, who made People’s list of 25 Sexy Chests to Be Thankful For (amen!), had the most brilliant idea: “I think we should do it for charity!”

While we get in line for tickets to that one (please, powers that be, make it happen!), let’s take a look at some of the hottest fashions on display at last night’s festivities, from men (the likes of Kellan Lutz, Armie Hammer and Josh Hutcherson) and women (Minka Kelly, Sarah Silverman, Emma Roberts and more).

Charlie’s Angels Joins Fall TV’s Fallen

Today we learned that the latest incarnation of Charlie’s Angels received its walking papers after only four episodes. Was anyone surprised? Not really. Every season, the major networks throw so many new shows at the wall, and then step back to see which will stick. Some go on to make their networks proud, while the bad seeds get kicked out and disowned — especially if they’re slick and expensive to make. This fall season had its share of troublemakers, like the controversial Playboy Club, as well as plain, old underachievers, like the aforementioned Angels. So far, here’s a list of the dearly, and not so dearly, departed.

Was A Charlie’s Angels Crew Member Fired For Slapping Minka Kelly’s Butt?

Are people really risking their job security to get their grope on? In this economy? TMZ reports that a Charlie’s Angels crew member was summarily banned from the show’s set, then later fired from the show, after allegedly delivering a Minka Kelly butt slap. We’re assuming the ex-crew member then hopped in his time machine and traveled back to the Stone Age, where he assumed his rightful crown as King of the Cave Jerks!

While it was allegedly ABC’s zero-tolerance sexual harassment policy and not Minka herself who got the employee fired, a source claims that Kelly alleged told the crew member “Please don’t ever disrespect me or any other woman like that again” after the incident. The reports don’t indicate that Minka then knocked him to the ground with a roundhouse right, but we’ll go ahead and read between the lines. We know life imitates art!

While the 2011 Emmy Best Dressed list might contain some undeniably gorgeous ensembles, the Emmy Worst Dressed List is equally long and illustrious. From Gwyneth Paltrow‘s midriff-baring goth prom dress to Paz de la Huerta‘s lavender lip gloss and runaway weave to James Woods‘ apparent Botox overdose, the stars were getting hot and sloppy at the 63rd Annual Emmy Awards. The question, of course, is: who was the hottest and the sloppiest?

Derek Jeter And Minka Kelly Are Ovah!

Aww, breakups make us sad. Especially with these two, because after three long, Hollywood years together, Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly have split up. It’s not a nasty one, thankfully, as a source reveals, “The split was amicable. But they remain friends. They still really care for each other.” It isn’t just a rumor either because when contacted, Kelly’s spokespeople confirmed that the couple had indeed called it quits. Did work commitments have a part to play? Minka’s been busy shooting Charlie’s Angels which does put a damper on being the ever present girlfriend, right? Oh well, two supremely hot people are back on that market again. Tough luck, you two!

Spike TV’s Annual Guys Choice Awards Brings Out The A-List

Spike TV’s Annual “Guys Choice Awards” Show almost got completely sidelined thanks to the MTV Movie Awards. Both shows happened on the weekend, but the Guys Choice was one day earlier. But never fear, we’ve got the pictures that matter. “Decade of Hotness” winner Jennifer Aniston receiving her award in a tiny Azzedine Alaia black dress on the stage, for one!

Newly 40 Mark Wahlberg also won both ”Guy of The Year” and the “Guy Movie of the Year”, while Keith Richards won the “Brass Balls” of the year (handed over to him by Robert de Niro no less)! Mila Kunis was on hand to receive the “Holy Grail of Hotness Award” from Justin Timberlake and Jim Carrey won “Funniest MF.” Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson were there acting quite chummy, so the plot thickens! Charlie’s New Angels Are White Hot

ABC is rebooting Charlie’s Angels and the show has been shooting in Miami for the past two months. So how are the new Angels, Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor, and Annie Ilonzeh, stacking up against their predecessors? Pretty well, we’d say. Given how many women have played one of Charlie’s Angels over the past thirty years, you’d think that all private investigators were supermodel-hot ladies in sexy clothes (or, you know, Tom Selleck).
