Oh, Mickey, you’re so fine. You’re so fine, you blow our minds. When asked about the hubbub around UK pop singer Cheryl Cole and her cheating soccer star husband Ashley by an English reporter (who else would care?), Mickey Rourke slipped into Wrestler mode, suggesting he could whip up more drama with his little finger. “Forget Ashley Cole, his behaviour has nothing on a film star. WAGs [Wives and Girlfriends] get an easy time—they should try living with Hollywood hellraisers. I once spent a weekend in the UK and had 14 women in one night. If you WAGs knew what Hollywood’s stars get up to you’d think you were married to pussycats.”
While it’d be easy to marvel at Rourke’s Olympian sexual appetite, we’re a little more impressed that the Sin City star uses phrases like “Hollywood hellraisers” and “pussycats” in conversation (”WAGs” is a British thing we only wish he made up). Besides, with his engagement to Russian model Anastassija Makarenko (and his newfound fondness for topknots), we don’t see him bouncing more than a baker’s dozen of British babes on his bed again anytime soon.

Valentine’s Day has passed and while we hope all our readers got plenty of smooches from their loved ones, we’re going to ask that you keep any photographic evidence private. Paris Hilton, Speidi, Jon Gosselin, and Snooki of “Jersey Shore” have all been captured mid-makeout and trust us - it’s not cute. Roaming eyes, waving tongues, and off-target chin kisses cannot escape the snap of a lens. Allow these ten repulsive shots of celebrities sucking face to demonstrate the downside of PDA while paparazzi is present. [Photos: Getty Images and Splash News Online]

Megan Fox has left quite an impression on Mickey Rourke, her co-star in the upcoming Passion Play, which concerns the love between a winged circus freak and a junkie trumpet player (we’ll let you guess who plays what). “I didn’t know too much about her, except what I read. And I think the pleasant surprise was this girl who’s a world-class beauty turned out to be probably the best young actress I’ve ever worked with,” he told Entertainment Weekly. No small compliment, considering he married Wild Orchid co-star Carre Otis and raised eyebrows by flirting with on-screen daughter Evan Rachel Wood after shooting The Wrestler. And who could forget Lisa Bonet in Crazy Heart? Who didn’t believe it when she dripped chicken blood on her chest?
“I don’t know if a lot of her films have showcased her acting ability more than, say, being action-oriented,” he continued. “But [Megan] really stepped up the plate with this one and was very consistent and professional, beyond her years. At 23, I couldn’t do half of what she’s doing…With Megan and I, there’s a lot of chemistry and a lot of respect.” Will Passion Play reveal there’s more to Megan Fox than her Armani ads? The film has no set release date, but producers hope to have it out by the end of the year. Hmmm, is it too soon to put her in the 2011 Oscar pool?

Russell Brand and Katy Perry spent Saturday morning together in LA (having answered phones at the Hope For Haiti telethon the night before), but the newly engaged couple were soon forced to separate—if only for the night—with Katy making her debut performance as a bride-to-be at the Haze nightclub in Last Vegas. Though fellow performer Gabe Saporta of Cobra Starship and partygoer Mickey Rourke have both been known to make the good girls go bad, we’re sure the ring on her finger kept everyone from taking too long of a look at Perry’s slinky, gold dress. Besides, Mickey had his own fiancee, actress Anastassija Makarenko, to attend to.

The New Year is upon us, and while resolutions and wishes are abound, we’re wondering what’s brewing in the world of cinema. Anticipation is already sky-high for the third film of The Twilight Saga and the first half of the final film of the Harry Potter series, but what else is waiting in the wings? We’ve got Angelina Jolie in a wig, Megan Fox in a corset, and an uber buff Jake Gyllenhaal.
Here are 10 movies worth your $12.50 + popcorn in 2010.
The Wolfman: February 12th
Benicio Del Toro has been holding out on us! Typically attracted to critic-friendly films (Traffic, Things We Lost in the Fire, Che), Del Toro gets horrific for Valentine’s Day weekend in The Wolfman, starring as the legendary moon-hatin’ monster. Critics’ Choice-nominated Emily Blunt plays his fur-lovin’ love interest and always-great Anthony Hopkins co-stars as Del Toro’s father.
Alice in Wonderland: March 5th
Tim Burton + Johnny Depp. Do we really need to say more? Previous collaborations of the eccentric duo include Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. This fantastical gothic version of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale is sure to be visually stunning and over-the-top. Naturally Johnny Depp is The Mad Hatter, while Australian actress Mia Wasikowska snagged the role as Alice. Burton’s wife Helena Bonham Carter plays the part of The Red Queen with Anne Hathaway as The White Queen. Other highlights include Alan Rickman as The Caterpillar and Michael Sheen as The White Rabbit. Can you feel our excitement?

Just as award season gets underway and Critics Choice Movie Awards buzz spreads about Robert Downey, Jr.’s performance in Sherlock Holmes, Paramount has released the official poster art for the sequel to his 2008 blockbuster action movie, Iron Man. In the sequel, aptly titled Iron Man 2, Scarlett Johansson makes her superhero debut as the Black Widow, donning skin tight leather. We’re not complaining. [Photo: Paramount Pictures]

Mickey Rourke sees you too, paparazzi! The Iron Man 2 star was walking one of his dogs with girlfriend Elena Kuletskaya in LA when a photographer asked how his coffee tasted. After giving the answer above, Rourke chatted with fans and went about his merry, grody day. Just another bird-flippin’ day in Mickey’s bird-flippin’ life.

Ever since Madonna split with Guy Ritchie, the film director’s been making a lot more use of his London pub The Punchbowl. In recent months, it’s attracted celeb pals of the ilk of Justin Timberlake, Leonardo diCaprio and Mickey Rourke - as well as the attendant paparazzi. And it seems that this new found popularity is causing consternation among residents of London’s Mayfair district - one of the capital’s wealthiest and fustiest.
“The W1 residents have complained about “a severe downward spiral in quality of life.” They are aghast at the “shouting and singing” and collection of chauffeurs and paparazzi,” says a report - claiming they’ve now began a petition protesting its licence. It would be a shame if they did succeed - only because it’s one of the few non-members establishments in London where you can wander in and look at A-listers making drunken fools of themselves. And we don’t want to lose that privilege. [Photo: WENN]

No, Mickey Rourke wasn’t found face down in a pile of Colombian candy (that we know about). The flamboyant Wrestler star just couldn’t resist showing some Halloween spirit while partying at Voyeur last night. And don’t assume he’s just a year behind with his Joker costume, either—the handlebar mustache, spade on his cheek and cross over his eye suggest this is his personal tribute to the new biopic Bronson, about the most violent criminal in British prison history. Gee, who would have thought Mickey would enjoy the story of an uncontrollable, often naked boxer/artist who can’t help but damage himself and everyone around him?

Yep, we’d go with that. Lily Allen picked up the award from Britain’s prestigious men’s mag GQ at their annual awards last night in London - in a ceremony that also gave gongs to Guy Ritchie for Film-Maker of the Year (guess we’re all assuming Sherlock Holmes is going to be good already) and Mickey Rourke for International Man (because picking up twenty-somethings in clubs is an achievement when you’ve done that to your face).
The star-studded bash was attended by lots of celebs including Eva Mendes, Gemma Arterton, Elizabeth Hurley and Kelly Osbourne - although Lily chose to celebrate her win with a totally sober bash at Claridges Hotel with Kate Moss later on. Kate had turned up late for the awards and reportedly “pole-danced” around a column during the ceremony. O-kay. [Photo: Getty Images]
