Let’s talk about sex paparazzi photos, baby.
It’s been on our mind for a while, but with the past two days being what they have (you know, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart being snapped kissing and then angrily leaving and arriving at airports) we thought it might be a good time to have a fireside chat about the world of celebrity gossip, paparazzi and fans, a world in which - for better or for worse - we are deeply entrenched.

This weekend Robert Pattinson is paying a conjugal visit to his better half, Kristen Stewart, on the set of On The Road, which is filming in Montreal. (Check out photos of Rob on the set at the link.) It’s been a while since the pair has been spotted together, huh?
Pattinson has been spotted on the set visiting with Stewart and his pal Tom Sturridge, who also has a role in the film. Eyebrows were raised when Stewart was seen hanging out with Sturridge but it turns out he’s just making nice with his best friend’s girl.

If this news is true, these two would be our heroes. How amazing a story would it be for two of Hollywood’s brightest young stars, who met and fell in love while filming the biggest blockbuster franchise of the decade to completely leave it all behind just to focus on hippie crap like love and art? This report claims that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart plan to give up Hollywood after they’re finished filming Twilight in order to focus on their brooding, sexy love for each other, and also to focus on every real actor’s true passion: the stage.
An unnamed “insider” says “They are considering changing their lives so they can concentrate on their relationship and get away from stardom. Kristen’s suggested they try theatre work and indie films. Despite starring in big-budget productions, they’ve managed to retain credibility, so theatre is the perfect option.” Hey, we wish them well if this is true, they’ve been through quite a media wringer for the past few years, but somehow…we don’t really buy it. Especially since Rob is currently shooting Water For Elephants with Reese Witherspoon and Kristen’s shooting On The Road, neither of which are indie, low-budget flicks. If they were serious about this, they’d be holed up in their love bungalow doing some role-playing exercises (wink!) to prepare for their new life.

Well, we did it: we talked to moms about Twilight. Real moms. Amazingly, they had ALL seen the movies. Some had even read the books! Did we mention Kathy, Candace and Kadie are our soul-mom-mates? For reals.
Because they’re moms, they had a few things to say about the usual Twi-spects: Robert Pattinson’s hair, Kristen Stewart’s smirk and the, uh, enthusiastic fans. Now that the truth is out there and our favorite fictional-but-real couple has been outed, Robsten(photos) are finally able to discuss each other freely, openly and adorably. (Not that Rob and Kristen haven’t been hanging out all the time and being obvious about things already - and just look at that adoring gaze she’s aiming at him in that picture.)
Robert Pattinson (Photos) said in a recent interview with TV Week “Kristen and I have lived a great adventure together with the ‘Twilight’ films. We are very close and no one can understand what we’ve gone through together the last few years. When we’re together, we understand each other so well that we don’t have to say a lot to explain what we’re thinking. Kristen is a wonderful girl.” Ooh, so what you’re saying is that even though Edward can’t read Bella’s mind in the books, he can in real life? These two are even more magical than we thought.

Hey guys, Kate Spencer here. I cover the Kristen Stewart (photos) beat for TheFABlife and like all of you I eagerly sat down at my desk this morning to watch the new Welcome to the Rileys trailer and count how many times my pretend BFF KStew bit her lips (answer: 0!)*. The flick revolves around a couple - played by Melissa Leo and James Gandolfini - who lose a daughter and later take in a teenage stripper, played by Stew-pants. It looks a bit cliched and sappy, but I trust these actors to bring it and will definitely give it a watch, and not just because I’m a brainwashed Kristen loyalist and think she can do no wrong. Which she can’t.
I chronicled my emotional journey through the the 2 minute and 26 second trailer and have documented my varying reactions for you, dear, Stew-fans, below.
Let’s just say I ended up in tears. Don’t tell anyone. More importantly - what did you think? Would you camp out for 4 days for WTTR?

Hey look what we have here! Two regular old pals, Robert Pattinson (photos) and Kristen Stewart (photos) being all platonic together at pal Sam Bradley’s concert last night in Los Angeles. Because this is the kind of stuff friends - friends who hold hands and eye-sex each other and share clothes and bags and hats and wear matching bracelets - do together. Friends bein’ friends - and nothing more!
In fact, just last night we turned to our British guy friend - with whom we spend every waking moment with but are just friends - and were all, “Hey, here’s a bracelet that matches the one I’m wearing. Put it on. Now let’s go out in public together 24/7 looking awkward, and once in a while we’ll secretly hold hands. And while we’re at it, can I wear your ripped t-shirt and your sunglasses? You know, ‘cuz we’re just friends?”
And he was all, “Totes! We’re friends who do not desire each other sexually and do not share hotel rooms and do not secretly live together in a tiny love nest and do not feed each other loquat pies, of course we can do that!”
Then we high-fived and did not let our fingertips linger because we are strictly buddies. Just like Rob and Kristen.

Last night, FABlife editor Kate Spencer and I had the privilege of attending an advanced screening of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Being the shameless Twi-hards that we are, we arrived to the theater unacceptably giddy for our age, even snapping a fangirl photo with a cardboard Edward Cullen. After being somewhat let-down by the first two adaptations and covering the sh*t out of Eclipse, we were really hoping the third movie lived up to its growing hype. Crappy wigs aside (ahem, Bella and Rosalie), David Slade’s film did not disappoint! Here are nine reasons Eclipse knocks the other Twilight flicks out of the newborn-filled water.
1. Intense newborn beheading! Thought the only way to kill a vampire was by setting them on fire a la James? Wrong! Apparently you can also violently snap off their heads! During the ultimate Cullen-werewolf-newborn throw-down, heads were crackin’ off left and right!
2. The Cullens toned down their cakey makeup. Something about our precious Edward looked “off” in New Moon. His handsome face looked flat and overly powdered. It looks like the makeup crew was revamped (pun intended) for Eclipse, because the Cullen clan was the perfect level of pasty. (more…)

Do we love this? Do we? Do we? Kristen Stewart(photos) debuted this new look at a taping for the Late Show with David Letterman in New York City. Apparently, Kristen’s new hair is for her role as MaryLou in a screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s iconic novel On the Road.
Those are the facts, but they don’t help us in deciding what we think of it. It’s short, wavy, soft and strawberry-blondish. Or a light brown-tad-of-red? Or… light brown with hints of blond? GAH…we can’t even decide on a color. We’re so used to seeing our KStew rocking jet-black because she’s our fave goth-ish rockstar. But at the same time, her skin is flawless and her make-up is aces. And she’s still the same person underneath the follicles. So yes… it’s growing on us already. What say you? Comments away!
