Justin Timberlake, Minka Kelly, Kellan Lutz Heat Up GQ Men Of The Year Party

At last night’s party for the GQ Men of the Year, our friends over at MTV News asked a very important question: Who would win in a fight, GQ’s Men or People’s Sexiest Men?

“I’ll take on the whole entire cast of Parks and Recreation. I’ll leave Justin [Timberlake] to take care of Glee and Jimmy Fallon could karate-chop the rest of those guys,” GQ honoree Jay-Z joked. And Joe Manganiello, who made People’s list of 25 Sexy Chests to Be Thankful For (amen!), had the most brilliant idea: “I think we should do it for charity!”

While we get in line for tickets to that one (please, powers that be, make it happen!), let’s take a look at some of the hottest fashions on display at last night’s festivities, from men (the likes of Kellan Lutz, Armie Hammer and Josh Hutcherson) and women (Minka Kelly, Sarah Silverman, Emma Roberts and more).

Alicia Keys’ Black Ball Attacts Some Colorful Fashions

Last night, Alicia Keys continued her work to solve the AIDS crisis, hosting the 8th Annual Keep a Child Alive Black Ball at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. While helping to fund research, treatment and care for those affected by AIDS, the guest were treated to performances by the likes of Keys, Usher, Mary J. Blige, will.i.am and more. The evening also honored the late Beatle and philanthropist George Harrison. Our invite was surely lost in the mail, but we’re content to gaze upon the stars’ best red-carpet fashions. Check out the stunning (not all-black) looks worn by Tyra Banks, Chanel Iman, Kerry Washington and more in the gallery below.

TheFABlife’s 15 Best Dressed At The 2011 Emmy Awards

The red carpet at tonight’s Emmy Awards contained very few duds and a whole lot of “dayum!” Underdog and relative red carpet rookie Aubrey Plaza took our crown for Best Dressed in her Juan Carlos Obando white gown and retro fabulous hair. The Vampire DiariesNina Dobrev was a close runner-up in a dramatic, hourglass supreme Donna Karan. Best Actress in a Comedy Series winner Julie Bowen dazzled in an uber deep v-neck Oscar De La Renta and we loved Amy Poehler‘s unique Peter Som navy frock.
Star of tomorrow and Best Dressed honorable mention Kiernan Shipka confirmed she will essentially be a teenager by the time Mad Men returns in an adorable metallic dress and glittery heels. Check out our 15 Best Dressed at the 2011 Emmys below! [Photos: Getty Images]

2011 BET Awards Green Carpet: Who, What, Wear

Before we can say anything else, how about Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose getting frisky on the green carpet, huh? The 2011 BET Awards took place at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A last night and the duo looked quite happy wrapped around each other! We’re also loving the Dolce & Gabbana blazer and pants combination Alicia Keys wore to the event and Kerry Washington has our vote with that acidic Michael Kors gown. We also totally expected Nicki Minaj to bring on some full-on cray-cray but it was a half-hearted commitment. We think she actually looked quite pretty in the textured pink dress-tight-boots outfit she was working.

If you want the list of winners, click here, but hint hint: Chris Brown and Busta Rhymes are in there. Also spotted were folks like Nelly, Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott (love her) and the Smith kids — Jaden and Willow. Of course, Willow’s pal Justin Bieber was there too. Was there any ground breaking fashion? No, but everyone looked really comfortable which is quite a change! Having said that, we would like to forget all about Amber Rose’s shredded catsuit forever. Take a look at our gallery for all the action!

The Full 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards Red Carpet Report

The 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards took place last night at Lincoln Center in New York City. The show saw some serious fashionista traffic, but we have to admit we expected it to be a tad more A-List. Still, can’t complain with the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio in a red-hot Prabal Gurung dress and Liv Tyler in an unusual Proenza Schouler silk printed sheath. Both ladies showed a fair amount of back! We also loved Kerry Washington‘s simple white A-Line Calvin Klein dress and Lucy Liu‘s dramatic black Monique Lhuillier gown. Miranda Kerr looked heart-stoppingly sexy in her black Michael Kors skirt and cut-out body suit. But the big winner of the night was Lady Gaga who scooped up the Fashion Icon Award, bringing her sister Natali Germanotta as her date.

Unfortunately, there were a couple of fashion fails as well. Chloe Sevigny looked like she had forgotten to do up the top of her leather ruffle eyelet blouse from her own collection. Marcia Cross wore an inexplicable Pamella Roland blue sequined halter jumpsuit and Naomi Watts looked generically pretty but very blah in her Calvin Klein gold dress. We also love us some Ashley Greene but she just wasn’t working her two-tone Michael Kors dress, like a pregnant Jessica Alba worked the same trend in DVF. Perhaps it’s because Ashley’s clunky shoes were all wrong. One look at Gerard Butler in his snug, extremely well-cut suit, and all was well again. Get the full skinny by looking at our gallery below.

Blake Lively’s New Red Hair And Other Celebrities Turn Up At Time’s 100 Gala

Partay time at Lincoln Center in New York yesterday! Stars poured in for the Time’s 100 Gala celebrating Time’s 100 Most Influential People for 2011. We’re proud to say that three of our Top 5 WTF people on the list turned up! Leading that parade was a gorgeous Blake Lively who debuted a new strawberry blonde ‘do. We love it, and we loved her in that sexy Zuhair Murad gown. We reckon she’s on the list for most influential boobs and legs, right? Rain, the South Korean pop star, just looked happy to be there. And Mark Wahlberg, as chiseled as ever, showed up with his sexyface on.

We also love Amy Poehler and Aziz Ansari far too much, so we’re just going to pass on talking about their outfits. But we will talk about freshly brewed brunette Anna Kendrick who wore a black cocktail frock with a dangerously low plunging neckline! She better have put in a whole roll of double-sided tape for that one! Our Ultimate FAB Icon, Chris Colfer, had to be there too! Oprah‘s best buddy, Gayle King, showed up as well looking pretty fine in a cerulean blue gown, and the musician crowd was well-repped by Bruno Mars and ?uestlove. There’s more, folks, so check out our gallery below.

Legs Up To There At The Met Last Night

metmash

Hollywood’s leading ladies work out hard, and dammit, they are not going to let their Yogilates and Master Cleansing go unnoticed. At the Met Costume Institute Gala last night, there were quite a few thigh-high slit dresses, and they all showed off some impeccable gams. However, just because someone shows a little leg doesn’t mean they’re an automatic fashion “do.” We’re still not quite sure if Kristen Stewart‘s look is meshy or just messy, and we’re not thrilled with Jimmy Choo founder Tamara Mellon‘s cut-out look either (although, ironically, it’s her shoes we’re not loving). Hermione “Emma Watson” Granger on the other hand, looks magical in white, and Kate Hudson‘s legs distracted us from checking out her new boobs for a moment. Thigh slits - they’re the new black.

Diddy, Beyonce and Jay-Z: Inaugural Outfits

Look who we just spotted enjoying President Barack Obama‘s (!!!) inauguration! It’s Diddy, Beyonce, and a dude in a giant fur hat. Oh wait, that’s Jay-Z, sporting the first fashion faux pas of the Inauguration. We almost gave that title to Aretha Franklin‘s bow hat, but she rocked it too hard to deserve a diss, even if that bow almost did eat her head.

Also spotted: Oprah Winfrey, Adrien Grenier, Rachel Leigh Cook, Sting, Trudie Styler, Spike Lee, Denzel Washington, Anne Hathaway, the Bush twins, Malia and Sasha Obama, and of course our new President Obama and Vice President Biden with their wives Michelle and Jill!
