The Post Halloween Edition: Top 10 Celebrity Costume Round-Up

We have so much material for you that your Halloween costumes should be sorted out for the next couple of years. There are so many options to check out. Perhaps the early bird stars who played dress-up over the weekend will float your boat? Don’t see anything you like? And we’re not done yet. Since yesterday was the last day for trick-or-treating and Halloween costumes, celebrities really outdid themselves. The final few we loved were folks like Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford who cracked us up by getting their ’80s on as members of Mötley Crüe. Eden Wood from Toddlers and Tiaras was big this year with Chrissy Teigen and Fergie dressing up as her. Kelly Ripa outdid herself on Live! With Regis and Kelly along with Nick Lachey. Their first outfit sequence had Kelly dressed up as Eden as well, and Nick as Charlie Sheen. Their second has Kelly as Kim Kardashian and Nick (on stilts) as Kris Humphries on their wedding day. Ouch! The sexiest prize goes to Miranda Kerr who was the hottest ringmaster ever, and we’d like to give a round of applause to the mommies-to-be as well. Beyoncé was the cutest bumblebee in town, while Jennifer Garner was a witch.

Heavy Celebrity Traffic At The Late Show With David Letterman

Yesterday, the studio audience at The Late Show With David Letterman got quite a treat. A bevy of stars rolled in to get their time on camera with Dave, including Jennifer Lawrence, Daniel Radcliffe and Kelly Ripa. Jennifer — freshly brunette for her role as The Hunger Games’ Katniss — looked absolutely glorious in a curve-skimming blue dress with a skinny orange belt by Altuzarra. The 20 year old actress is also poised for the release of X-Men: First Class which is going to hit theaters on June 3.

Kelly might be two decades older than Jen L, but her body doesn’t show it. She showed it off in a very sexy back baring black dress. And then there was Daniel, who we adore, period. He was there to perform Brotherhood of Man from his Broadway show, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. How could you not love the guy? Apparently, the trio caused quite a fan frenzy outside the studio, which we would have been more than happy to be a part of!

Sarah Jessica Parker, Gisele Bundchen Look “Interesting” At Robin Hood Gala

Let’s first put this event into context. It wasn’t a party held in Sherwood Forest, clearly. The 11th Annual Robin Hood Foundation gala took place yesterday at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. The foundation benefits people dealing with poverty and lately, National Reservists and veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. This year $400,000 will also assist veterans to fly to L.A and record a song Will.I.Am. And to stir things up, Lady Gaga performed at the benefit as well!

As for the celebrity guests, lets focus on two incredibly famous ones — Sarah Jesscia Parker and Gisele Bundchen. We don’t mean to rag on them because they were helping with a great cause, but what were you thinking ladies! We don’t have much issue with what SJP was wearing because everything that was blah about the outfit was eclipsed by that hair! Who did that to you, Parker? It looks like a cobra rearing its head! You should have used your Carrie cred and told (threatened, even) your hairstylist to put that teaser comb down. As for Gisele, we get she’s a supermodel and God blessed her with genetics far beyond our comprehension, but what is that outfit? We get you’re sex on a stick, Gisele. We don’t need to see your sternum, inside-boob and inner thighs to know that. Dominatrix-meets-sexy librarian may be a little too much for a benefit.

Luckily, others stars fared better. Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos get our vote for best dressed couple. Mariska Hargitay looked pretty fine too and a preggers Thalia is just adorable! Take a look at our gallery for the rest of the celebrity guests.

Kelly Ripa Meets Wax Kelly Ripa

Not bad, Madame Tussauds! The last couple of celebrity waxworks they produced were pretty heinous (remember Tussaud’s Bieber replica?), but this one’s not bad at all. Kelly Ripa unveiled her Tussauds likeness in New York yesterday, and it’s a pretty good imitation. Like the real Ripa, her statue looks…ripped! They’ve even got the hair down, which is the area they normally muck up in. The only aspect Tussauds didn’t factor in was the tan. The statue is unfashionably pale (for Hollywood, unless you’re Anne Hathaway) while Ripa herself has a healthy glow (we don’t know if it’s store or tanning booth bought, though). Her husband, Mark Consuelos, was there for the occasion and looked like he didn’t mind having two wives at all. Congrats, Kelly!

Regis Philbin Announces His Retirement

Regis Philbin has announced that he’s retiring this year from Live! With Regis And Kelly. While seated next to his co-host Kelly Ripa, per usual, Regis told audience members today “I’ve got one of those announcements to make today…I don’t want to alarm anybody but I have to tell you this because it’s going to happen…but this will be my last year on this show.” (You can watch the video of his announcement on TMZ.) The 79-year-old joked “There is a time that everything must come to an end for certain people on camera, especially certain old people.” The date of his final show is unknown, but he said it would likely happen in late summer or fall.

We started watching Reeg, a mainstay of morning television since the ’70s, back in middle school when he hosted Live! With Regis And Kathie Lee, so it’s a little sad to see him go (Live! has been airing nationally since 1988). The only person we think is a suitable replacement for Philbin is Anderson Cooper, whose guest hosting duties on Live! are some of the funniest things we’ve ever seen.

We’ll miss Regis, especially for the joy he brings us on clips of The Soup, and we wish him a happy retirement!

Regis Philbin did his best creepy old man impression today while interviewing Kristen Stewart (photos) on Live with Regis & Kelly. He just couldn’t stop oogling at the actress and bringing up stripping. Sure, she plays a stripper in Welcome to the Rileys, but come on Reg! You’ve been around long enough not to be phased by six-inch heels and some fishnets. Kristen, naturally, takes it in stride and even jokes around with America’s favorite grandpa.

Tracy Morgan Kicks It Old School At Cop Out Premiere

While a red-leather warm-up suit is still arguably a suit (and certainly sharper than director Kevin Smith‘s flapping denim shorts), Tracy Morgan‘s red leather ensemble certainly stuck out at the premiere of Cop Out in NYC last night, his new buddy cop movie with Bruce Willis (who prefers to save his clowning for Letterman appearances and chose a more traditional business suit for the event). Considering how much the poster for Cop Out suggests the tagline his 30 Rock character’s classic Black Cop/White Cop (“One does the duty; the other gets the booty!”), maybe he pulled a “What Would Tracy Jordan Do?” when rummaging through his wardrobe. You know he’d approve of that monogrammed medallion.

Look, we love Kelly Ripa. She seems like she would be fun to hang out with and she seems pretty real as far as celebs go. But…Kelly, Kelly, Kelly. Someone should have stopped you from going overboard with the fake tanner yesterday.

Ripa was on hand for the Text-a-Thon For A Cause charity event in Times Square on Wednesday, and we couldn’t help but notice the Oompah Loompah quality to her skin, especially in contrast to her white-blonde highlights. Some celebrities roll out of bed looking flawless. We’re looking at you, Jessica Alba and Beyonce. Other Hollywood glamazons, like Heidi Montag and Katherine Heigl, need the aid of some concealer, mascara, and lipstick to push them to camera-ready status. And for those stars who aren’t naturally radiant, the paparazzi show no mercy. They’ll relentlessly snap photos of celebs exiting a gym, finishing a triathlon, or disembarking from a transcontinental flight. These unflattering shots end up all over the gossip rags, making us commoners feel better about the bags under our eyes and less-than-perfect skin. Michelle Obama, Stars Salute Ballet At Spring Gala

Michelle Obama spoke at the 69th Annual American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala last night in New York’s Metropolitan Opera to a crowd of beautifully dressed dance enthusiasts, including such celebs as Renee Zellweger, Claire Danes and Kelly Ripa. “The arts are not just a nice thing to have or to do if there is free time or if one can afford it,” said the First Lady at an event at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art earlier that day. “Rather, paintings and poetry, music and fashion, design and dialogue, they all define who we are as a people and provide an account of our history for the next generation.”
