New York Fashion Week: Which Stars Are Taking Style Seriously?

It’s Day Two of New York Fashion Week, and the celebrity sightings are starting to pile up — no small feat, given that it’s also the beginning of Grammy Awards weekend in Los Angeles, and we’re sure those parties are tempting many a famous face away from this coast. But up at Lincoln Center, the stars who know that what they (and their stylists) choose for them to wear on the red carpet and on the way to the grocery store has an impact on their overall image, and, dare we say? their career as well. So, who have we seen in the front rows so far? Shailene Woodley (kind of surprising, since she told us she only wears second-hand clothing), Alexa Chung and Kristen Chenoweth took in the pretty purples and blues of the Honor show. Abigail Breslin, Megan Hilty and Angela Simmons watched the Cynthia Rowley show together. Kellan Lutz was with Matt Czuchry, Chris Lowell and the NY Knicks’ Landry Fields for Joseph Abboud. Recently resurfaced former child star Anna Chlumsky was backstage at Houghton. Taylor Momsen was snapped roaming in the lobby today. And then there are the afterparties. Vanessa Hudgens, Rose McGowan, Giants star Victor Cruz and Eve were among the revelers at the Leila Shams party last night. Come back all week long for more pics of the stars getting their style on.

Lindsay Lohan’s Bangs, Solo Heidi Klum Kick Off Fashion Week With amFAR Gala

It was difficult for us to tear our eyes away from the wonder that is Lindsay Lohan’s new set of bangs and bizarre hairy wrists at last night’s amFAR Gala. But it was an event to kick off New York Fashion Week, so there was plenty more to see. Heidi Klum attending solo for instance, in a dazzling gold-and-black dress. Miss Universe Leila Lopes shining in red. Kellan Lutz looking like he’s modeling in a prom tuxedo catalog. Jennifer Hudson and Cindy Crawford palling around and both showing off some impressive cleavage. Terry Richardson appearing to keep his hands to himself. Pam Anderson To Kim Kardashian: PETA’s Love-Hate Relationship With Celebs

PETA has always had a love-hate relationships with celebrities. Some star studs like Justin Bieber have won the hearts of animal lovers by gracing PETA ads. Some celebs have even stripped down to step up for the cause of animal rights. However, there’s always those celebrities who blaze their own fur trail and send PETA in a hot rage like Kim Kardashian most recently did.

On the good side of the controversial organization are Pamela Anderson and Bob Harper, who recently teamed up with PETA to launch limited-edition U.S. postage stamps featuring famous vegetarians. From Gandhi to Ellen DeGeneres, now your bills and birthday cards can all feature Hollywood’s top 20 herbivores. Kellan Lutz Makes A Pit Stop At A Mohawk En Route To A Shaved Head

When we saw this first photograph on Kellan Lutz’s Twitter timeline, we had a bit of a heart attack. The tweet attached to the picture read, “Movember equals MoHawk month right, or was it Mustache? … Out with the old and in with the new, good bye dark hair it’s been fun.” Kellan’s a doll, but no, we did did not dig the ‘hawk on him at all. Fortunately, he was en route to a fully-shaved head and just took that picture for fun.

Kellan’s currently in Australia, as his next tweet pointed out: “Love swimming in the ocean here in Australia with my shaved head. Brings back a lot of great Generation Kill memories! If only we could do a season 2! Jason Lilley out, Brah. Good times.” We’re still getting used to his new ‘do. Or lack of it. Wonder what girlfriend Sharni Vinson thinks of it?

Thanksgiving Diet: Feast On These Hot Celebs

Relax, we’re not actually going to give you diet tips on this, the most holy of holidays for food lovers. We’re merely suggesting that if you’re anything like us, it’s hard to remember that there will be consequences if we ask for second helpings of mashed potatoes and pie. We slip into a food coma and wake up just long enough to eat the leftovers. So we thought we’d provide this little visual inspiration: 24 hot celebrities — from Britney Spears to Henry Cavill, Pippa Middleton to Hugh Jackman, Adriana Lima to Jennifer Lopez — who have bodies we’d basically kill to have, and who work hard to get them. Kellan Lutz And Sharni Vinson Take Their Hotness To GQ Down Under

Kellan Lutz and his new girlfriend, Sharni Vinson, flew down to Sydney for the the GQ Australia Men of the Year Awards, yesterday. We’re loving native Aussie Sharni’s Alex Perry dress and shoes, and Kellan — with or without a koala in his hands — makes us melt. And although, sadly, he didn’t win any awards (and nor did she), they were joined on the red carpet by the Actor of the Year and the Woman of the Year, Alex O’Loughlin and Rachael Taylor. Olivia Wilde And Jason Bateman’s Kiss Joins The Parade Of Awkward Celeb PDA

OK, so Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde’s fish-mouth kiss happened while filming The Longest Week in Brooklyn today, rather than, say, during a romantic date to the aquarium. That being said, that is truly one awkward lip lock. Are we all supposed to be opening our jaws that wide? Have we been doing it wrong this entire time? While we might personally prefer to do our weird, uncomfortable smooching in the privacy of our own homes, we do enjoy cringing at awkward PDAs, provided there are famous peeps involved. Justin Timberlake, Minka Kelly, Kellan Lutz Heat Up GQ Men Of The Year Party

At last night’s party for the GQ Men of the Year, our friends over at MTV News asked a very important question: Who would win in a fight, GQ’s Men or People’s Sexiest Men?

“I’ll take on the whole entire cast of Parks and Recreation. I’ll leave Justin [Timberlake] to take care of Glee and Jimmy Fallon could karate-chop the rest of those guys,” GQ honoree Jay-Z joked. And Joe Manganiello, who made People’s list of 25 Sexy Chests to Be Thankful For (amen!), had the most brilliant idea: “I think we should do it for charity!”

While we get in line for tickets to that one (please, powers that be, make it happen!), let’s take a look at some of the hottest fashions on display at last night’s festivities, from men (the likes of Kellan Lutz, Armie Hammer and Josh Hutcherson) and women (Minka Kelly, Sarah Silverman, Emma Roberts and more).

Jackson Rathbone Is This Week’s Hotness!

Wow, Jackson Rathbone fans. You guys are a very enthusiastic bunch. Unless you are all actually our own Ambika Muttoo, pressing refresh for the past 24 hours. Not that we in any way dispute that Jackson totally deserves his title as this week’s Hotness. We just thought it would be a tiny bit more of an even fight against his adoptive vampire bro, Kellan Lutz. But when voting closed earlier this afternoon, Jackson had won by 80 percent to Kellan’s 20.

The consolation? Kesmett fans can see more of their hero in Immortals this weekend. While Jackson fans will have to wait one more week for the release of Breaking Dawn – Part 1. Or you can browse through this photo montage of Jackson being very, very excited about your undying devotion.

Kellan Lutz Vs. Jackson Rathbone: Who Should Be This Week’s Hotness?

I realize I am causing your heads to hurt with this one, Twilighters. Or not. I know there are the die-hard Jasper and Emmett supporters who have eyes for no one but their chosen Cullen vampire. But then there are those of us who will have a very hard time deciding between Kellan Lutz and Jackson Rathbone. But in honor of next week’s Breaking Dawn premiere, we are MAKING you choose.

I don’t normally go for the brawny types, but I might make an exception for Kells — that dimple and mischievous twinkle in his eyes gets me every time. His pre-Twilight modeling career gives him an advantage here, too — the boy knows how to pose. And have you seen pics of him in Immortals?

In the first Twilight, we’re not sure Jackson’s bleached hair did him any real favors, but Jasper has since learned the value of lowlights and really got to shine in battle in Eclipse. Outside of the Twi-verse, he’s got the whole rocker thing going for him. And with those warm hazel eyes and adorable cleft chin, he might be stealing hearts away from the muscle-loving Emmett fans.
