Kate Winslet Wears White To The El Museo Del Barrio Gala

Considering how much time Kate Winslet has spent in front of Mario Testino‘s lens, it was only right that she was on hand to honor the legendary photographer at last night’s El Museo Del Barrio gala in New York. Not that she’s the only Kate he’s flattered. “The two other Kates, Kate Moss and Kate Middleton [Mario shot Prince William's engagement photos], were unavailable so you have to make do with me,” cracked Winslet before presenting his award. “His biggest strength without fail is making women look beautiful. So when Mario turns to you and says, ‘it’s beautiful, but I think it would work better naked, no?’ How can one refuse?” Um, can we just ask when has Kate ever refused the chance to work naked?

Also on hand to tip the hat to Testino were folks like Anna Wintour, Josh Hartnett, John Legend and Courtney Love, who somehow managed to stay clothed. See photos of from the bash in the gallery below.

It used to be chihuahuas, then Segways, then Birkin bags, but now, nerdy glasses are the hot celebrity accessory. Call it the an effect of hipster style mixed with equal parts Tina Fey lust and astigmatism. Josh Hartnett showed up to an event for The Kitchen’s Spring Gala last night and we noticed that he’s just one of many stars who are rocking the George McFly look (that’s a Back to the Future reference for all you born in the 90′s). Lovebirds Josh Hartnett And Abbie Cornish Go Out Together

Josh Hartnett and Abbie Cornish aren’t hiding their romance anymore. They went public at a private dinner at Macao Trading Co. on Church Street to help celebrate Channing Tatum’s 30th birthday. The bash was hosted by artist and Dactyl founder Neil Grayson. Fancy!

A witness reports, “They turned up after midnight . . . they definitely looked like a couple.” Other guests included Tatum’s wife, Jenna Dewan; Hayley Duff with her actor boyfriend, Nick Zano; and Tatum’s “Son of No One” co-stars James Ransone and Ray Liotta. We’ve just got one question: Ryan Phillipe who?

Mary-Kate Olsen Splits From Boyfriend, Spotted With Has-Been

Mary-Kate Olsen is single and loving it. A representative confirmed today that the fashion freak has split from boyfriend Nate Lowman. No reason has been given for the break, though between pregnancy rumors, engagement rumors and talk of Olsen getting close to Bradley Cooper, we’re impressed it lasted even this long.

The gossip mill, not taking long to put Olsen back on the market, has already hooked her up with Josh Hartnett at a BAFTA afterparty. “They were making out in a dark corridor of the party,” a source told People, though Olsen’s rep denied the claim. This wouldn’t be the first time Hartnett’s suffered an unfounded rumor in England—Hartnett won a libel suit against The Mirror after they claimed to have a surveillance video of the 30 Days Of Night actor getting freaky with a fan in a hotel library. Maybe he can score some cash off this rumor, too.

Josh Hartnett Did Not Bang A Girl In A Library, Wins Libel Suit

Josh Hartnett, not in the library, and not with the hottie. The Daily Mirror got celebrity sex tape addicts excited about closed-circuit video footage of the 30 Days Of Night star getting 30 minutes of heaven in the library of the Soho Hotel in London. “Like I don’t have a room!” said Hartnett, who sued the paper to defend his Man Whore name. The Mirror admitted earlier today that they were lying about the tape, and have paid the actor $30,000. Hartnett says he’ll give the money to charity, which means his career is doing better than we thought.

Sienna’s Secret Date With Josh

Oooh! Oooh! Probable new-celeb-couple alert! We told you that it was all off with Sienna and Balthazar Getty and that Ms. Miller was seen drowning her sorrows with bevy of A-list men just the other week. And now one of those men that we speculated might inevitably be hooking up with Sienna — current West End star Josh Hartnett — has been spied on a “secret” date with her at London’s incumbent cool hangout, Shoreditch House. We’ve got psychic powers, we tell you.

“They definitely looked like a couple — and a good looking one at that! At one point, they were holding hands across the table, but they quickly hid them underneath. They looked really cozy as they dined, gazing into each other’s eyes, smiling and laughing. They continued talking and drinking until very late into the evening — there was definitely a buzz in the air,” an onlooker tells The London Paper (by God, we love an “onlooker”).

Josh Hartnett Just Can’t Stop Complaining

Josh Hartnett isn’t a pretty boy Hollywood actor, OK — and blimey, doesn’t he want us all to know it. The star of The Faculty and 40 Days and 40 Nights (and don’t you forget it mate), is in London treading the boards in a West End production of RainMan. To celebrate, he’s given a whiney, miserable interview to the capital’s ES Magazine bemoaning his terrible lot in life. The highlights (or should we say lowlights?) include:

Asked whether he’s happy: “No, I wouldn’t say I’m happy.”
Asked what love feels like: “A kick in the face.”
Commenting on the fact his agent never told him he’d won a role in The Thin Red Line: “That’s Hollywood. It’s horrible, right?” (OK, maybe we’re with you on that one)
On presenting at the Oscars: “I went with my girlfriend and we had a weird little time.”
On starring with Harrison Ford in Hollywood Homicide: “It was a tough shoot for me because I was only half there … I was like the kid who had to be shooed away. Harrison’s a tough guy. He wasn’t all warm and fuzzy on set, that’s for sure.”

God, even though it’s Friday now WE feel depressed Josh. Lighten up a bit FFS! You’re fit, successful and have got loads of cash. What on earth are you going to be like when your career’s on the skids?

Single Sienna Burns Up London With Leo, Josh and Olivier

Sienna Miller this weekend confirmed what we’d all suspected for a while – that it’s all off with baggage-heavy Balthazar Getty (frankly, we think she’s had a lucky escape…) But unlike most post-split chicks, Sienna gets to enjoy her newly-single status with a far more glamorous selection of available men – notably Olivier Martinez (above), Josh Hartnett and Leonardo DiCaprio. OK, so she didn’t hook up with any of these A-list studmuffins (not yet, anyway), but merely partied with them in London at a variety of parties.

Still, it beats what usually suffices for a post-breakup breakout night – cheap wine, long-suffering friends and then the predictable drink-dialling disaster. Now, just repeat after us Sienna – NO MORE MARRIED MEN.
