Much to our delight, “The Real Housewives of NYC” premiered last night on Bravo, and some of the “stars” threw a party at La Pomme in Manhattan to celebrate. The snarky, pregnant, and sole independent-thinking housewife Bethenny Frankel skipped the shindig to hang out with Andy Cohen for the aftershow, but Ramona Singer, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Jill Zarin, and Kelly Bensimon got glammed up for the bash. Jon Gosselin and Michael Lohan are a douchebag bromance made in tabloid heaven! The father-of-the-year contenders have been paling around lately and putting their product-placement-happy sh*tshow parade on display for all to gawk at. News of their bromance first broke when Jon brought gal-pal Kate Major to stay with Michael in the Hamptons earlier this month. The pals have also had dinner with Jill Zarin and just this past Saturday were hanging at the Mercedes Benz Polo Challenge in Bridgehampton, where they took the opportunity to speak to all media who were there.
This is actually a Hollywood bromance that might work, as these two have a lot in common:

Jon Gosselin loves to keep us on our toes. Last week he was in St. Tropez with “fiancee” Hailey Glassman and Christian Audigier, this week he’s living it up in the Hamptons with Michael Lohan, tabloid reporter Kate Major, and real housewife Jill Zarin. If Gosselin is still bent on “doing what’s best for his kids,” we have to question the logic of being in the company of any Lohan.
Michael Lohan hosted his guests for the weekend and somehow found the time between waxing his Iroc and punching things to tell People that his guests “[are] getting along very well.” Gosselin and Major, who works for Star, have been spending loads of time together over the past week and have even been rumored to be dating (as in, Star is reporting they are dating – this is just getting gross).
