Jamie Kennedy Handcuffed After Shoving Match In Vegas

Looks like Malibu’s Most Wanted is still getting in scrapes with the law. TMZ has video of Jamie Kennedy handcuffed at the Cosmo Casino in Vegas following a shoving match with a man who thought the Scream star was hitting on his girlfriend. According to their sources, a woman asked Kennedy for career advice and her boyfriend decided to get territorial. Security pulled the pair out—with Jamie evidently rowdy enough to require handcuffs—but no charges were filed. Here’s some career advice for free, lady: dump the guy who picks fights with successful actors!

Kennedy, who turned 41 last week, was at the casino to celebrate his birthday. And judging from his Twitter, he may well have been on the prowl. “Thanks to everybody who wished me happy bday, really appreciate it. 41…jeez what’s the youngest I can date…creeper.” Kennedy split with Ghost Whisperer co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt just over a year ago.

Scream 4 Premiere Full Of Young Ladies, Arquettes And ’90s Vets

David Arquette swears he’s on good terms with estranged wife Courteney Cox, and last night’s Scream 4 premiere was a good place to prove it. The duo hugged and posed with eternal co-star Neve Campbell on the red carpet, which they shared with old Scream friends (Jamie Kennedy, Matthew Lillard) and new (Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Kristen Bell), not to mention David’s sisters Patricia and Rosanna. Also haunting the scene was Marilyn Manson, who mugged alongside everyone from Eli Roth to Shenae Grimes. Sadly his Scream star ex Rose McGowan wasn’t in attendance, but we can’t blame Marilyn for keeping tabs on this late-90s horror franchise: he’s one, too!

Jennifer Love Hewitt is dealing with her breakup from Jamie Kennedy the best way she can right now – by going out and partying, and getting herself a makeover. J. Love debuted a new hairstyle this weekend (taking a cue from Carrie Bradshaw, perhaps, who purged herself of her long locks after breakup #75 with Mr. Big) at the launch for Chelsea Handler‘s new book which is unfortunately titled “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang.”

In case you were wondering why Jennifer Love Hewitt barely acknowledged boyfriend Jamie Kennedy at The Ghost Whisperer‘s 100th episode party earlier this month…the co-stars are no longer dating. “It wasn’t contentious,” a source told People, blaming their busy schedules (yes, Jamie has one too!). “It had kind of just run its course…They just sort of looked at each other and said, ‘We like each other and we make each other laugh, but this isn’t for the long-term.’” Hewitt suggested last June that “By this time next year, if we’re not planning [an engagement], then there’s a situation,” but the source claims the split was amicable enough to leave the Ghost Whisperer set drama-free…much like the show itself.

A little over two years after Jennifer Love Hewitt received harsh criticism from tabloids over some less-than-flattering bikini shots, the star showed off a fit physique at a party last night to celebrate The Ghost Whisperer‘s 100th episode (that’s right—it’s still on). “What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles…Like all women out there should, I love my body,” she wrote at the time. Though she’s since traded “man of her dreams” Ross McCall for Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy (why doesn’t anyone call out his relatively bloated build?), it looks like love won out.

Jennifer Love Hewitt Wants To Marry Jamie Kennedy

She just split from fiance Ross McCall last year, but Jennifer Love Hewitt already wants new beau Jamie Kennedy to put a ring on it.

“By this time next year, if we’re not planning something, then there’s a situation,” she said.

The couple actually just experienced a “situation” when rumors that they were already engaged were floating around, and Jennifer got upset when Jamie vehemently denied them.

“I was like, ‘God, would that be the worst thing in the world?!’ Excuse me, but just for a second, there’s a line of people who would probably be ok with that rumor,” Jennifer said.

And who exactly would be waiting in Love’s “line?” There’s John Mayer, Joey Lawrence, Carson Daly, Ross McCall, Rich Cronin, Stephen Dorff…
