Jaime Pressly Opens Up About Divorce, Claims It’s Unrelated To DUI

It’s true what they say: when it rains, it pours…terrible news. However, despite what you may have heard, Jaime Pressly’s divorce isn’t connected to her DUI. “People thinking my divorce is happening because of the situation. Truth is: these are all isolated incidences,” the actress explained. So why exactly is My Name Is Earl actress Pressly divorcing husband Simran Singh after two years? “We fell in love quickly. We got married very quickly. It didn’t work out the way we wanted it to. There’s nothing more to it,” Jaime said. Hmm, bad things always seem to come in threes. Let’s just hope Jaime’s sweater counts as one, so the woman can put her mind at ease.

Whatever jokes we make about Pressly’s booze cruise, the last thing she wants to hear are cracks about whether she’s fit to parent son Desi James. “I don’t ever want my son to grow up and read all these false statements,” Pressly explained. “When I hear the statements made that are so ridiculously unkind and untrue, it breaks my heart. It’s really hurtful on so many levels that I can’t even explain it.” Considering that the truth about Pressly’s DUI is already humiliating enough, we don’t see why anyone would have to fabricate anything.

More Reports Confirm That Jaime Pressly’s Marriage Is Over

Yesterday, we had posted news of Jaime Pressly‘s marriage possibly breaking up. We were hoping it wasn’t true because of the horrible run she’s been having, DUI and tax evasion charges included. Unfortunately, more sources are creeping out to confirm the sad news. One informant told Perez Hilton yesterday, “It was very mutual and she’s very sad.” Another source has now told UsMagazine, ” They are done”. And they’re not the only ones talking. A second source explained more adding, ” It’s over. I don’t think they have officially filed anything yet though.”

The couple, Jaime and her possible ex husband Simran Singh, haven’t yet confirmed the split either. But the same source seems adamant revealing, “I think it comes down to she married this guy too fast. He seemed like a good guy but he is super full of himself and puts her down for everything. He picks fights with her for any little thing.” Apparently, Jaime’s most concerned about the repercussions of her supposed split on her little three year old son Dezi. His father is her ex-fiance Eric Cubiche. Says the source, “She doesn’t want to confuse him. Her baby is her top priority. She is a strong girl though and she will come out of this fine.”

That’s a lot of comments coming out, even though Jaime hasn’t said anything. Where there’s smoke there’s fire, though, so we’re leaning towards this story being true as opposed to false rumor.

Is Jaime Pressly’s Marriage Over?

Perez Hilton reports that Jaime Pressly and her husband Simran Singh have split up. If this news is true, then it’s just another downward spiral in a very bad run for the actress. Pressly was just booked for a DUI, where it was reported that she was way over the legal drinking limit. And right after that, news broke that Pressly apparently owed over $637,000 in federal and state taxes.

We’re hoping her marriage isn’t over but Hilton reports of a source who reveals, “It was very mutual and she’s very sad.” We’ll wait for a confirmation and keep you posted on this development. Pressly was previously engaged to DJ Eric Calvo who she has a son, Dezi, with.

Jaime Pressly Was Seriously Wasted The Night She Was Arrested

We all, by now, know that Jaime Pressly was drunk when arrested last week, because she was booked for a DUI. Her bail was set at $15,000 which means drunk enough, but no one really knew how much alcohol was really involved. All we knew was that there were no drugs involved.

TMZ has found out just how drunk Jaime was… and she was hammered. Consider this: the legal drinking limit clocks in at .08. The night of her DUI, Jaime’s breathalyzer test rang in at .22. That’s almost three times the limit. Next time, just take a a cab, okay? It’s a good thing she didn’t hurt herself, or anyone else!

Jaime Pressly’s Mug Shot Released, New Info On DUI Arrest

The above mug shot was taken after Jaime Pressly‘s DUI arrest in Santa Monica late last night. While few specifics have been issued, authorities told TMZ that there were no children involved or drugs found in the car (Jaime has a three year old, Dezi, from a previous relationship). Pressly’s bail was set at $15,000, usually means a blood alcohol level above .15.

When will celebrities learn? Being famous is not like having a superpower that makes you immune to stuff normal people are affected by. Like, say…alcohol. The latest H’wood resident to test this theory is Jaime Pressly, booked on a suspected DUI around 11pm last night.

Pressly was cruising around Santa Monica when she was busted for supposedly committing a traffic violation. The actress was carted off to Santa Monica jail after performing a field sobriety test, which we’re guessing she failed. Nothing’s clear at the moment so we’re going to withhold any more guesses until we get a report of what went down. Stay tuned!

Interview: Jason Segel Wants A Man Date With Barack Obama

Jason Segel, who made a name for himself by starring on Judd Apatow‘s cult TV hit Freaks & Geeks, has the same laid-back, California vibe that he exudes in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Maybe this is why he seems like a natural fit to co-star as Paul Rudd‘s new Best Dude Forever in I Love You, Man — an exploration of male friendship that opens tomorrow (March 20). We spoke with Jason about the real-life nature of his man friends, whether he’s a “girlfriend guy” or a “guy’s guy” and what Hollywood hunk he’d most like to have a man date with. Answer: The First African-American President of the United States is more his type.

Scandalist: I Love You, Man has a hilarious cast, including you, Paul Rudd, Andy Samberg, Rashida Jones, Jon Favreau and Jaime Pressly. Which one of you was the “class clown” while filming the movie?

Jason Segel: I’d have to say Andy. Andy Samberg. He’s hilarious from the moment he arrives on set, which is 6 a.m., to the moment he leaves. But there was this one moment … Forgetting Sarah Marshall had just come out when they began filming I Love You, Man, and I was feeling a little down because Forbidden Kingdom had beat it by $1 million. A woman approached me on the way to set, and said: “I just need to tell you I saw the movie this weekend and I loved it.” When she walked away, Andy turned to me and said, “She thinks you’re Jet Li.”

Imagine Waking Up To This Every Morning

Despite not having a role in I Love You, Man, Jack Black not-so-coyly graced the premiere’s red carpet last night with his wacky facial expressions and noticeably pained wife, Tanya Haden. More toned-down and dapper on the red carpet was the cast, including Jason Segel, Paul Rudd, Rashida Jones, and Andy Samberg.
