Thanksgiving Diet: Feast On These Hot Celebs

Relax, we’re not actually going to give you diet tips on this, the most holy of holidays for food lovers. We’re merely suggesting that if you’re anything like us, it’s hard to remember that there will be consequences if we ask for second helpings of mashed potatoes and pie. We slip into a food coma and wake up just long enough to eat the leftovers. So we thought we’d provide this little visual inspiration: 24 hot celebrities — from Britney Spears to Henry Cavill, Pippa Middleton to Hugh Jackman, Adriana Lima to Jennifer Lopez — who have bodies we’d basically kill to have, and who work hard to get them. Maybe seeing them jog, lift weights and strut their assets will inspire you to get off the couch. Or you might just want to sit back and enjoy the view while munching on a turkey leg. Robert Pattinson And Hugh Jackman Should Totally Make This Movie

When Real Steel star Hugh Jackman visited MTV News recently, he somehow got around to recalling how he met Robert Pattinson on a plane to Japan in 2009. Hugh was with director Baz Luhrmann, promoting Australia at the time. The Aussies decided to invite RPattz to their karaoke party later that night — and by party, we mean eight men in a karaoke bar room with a box full of women’s costumes.

Hugh Jackman Talks “Humiliating” Butter Sex Scene With Jennifer Garner

The only thing better than an excellently-filmed, superbly-acted sex scene? Hugh Jackman’s sex scene with Jennifer Garner in their upcoming political comedy Butter, because it was humiliating. “I did probably one of the most embarrassing things I had to do on a movie set, or funny anyway,” the Real Steal actor told the Huffington Post. Other than star in Scoop, right Hugh? Scoop must be a close runner-up.

“We have an off-screen love scene, Jen and I, and it takes place in the back of a car, you don’t see anything. We had to record it in a car,” Hugh explained. Unfortunately, technical issues required the sound people to record Garner and Jackman separately. As Hugh explains, “And so, we both had to kind of perform our version, in character, of sex while the other one is quiet. And it was impossible not to be laughing your head off while the other person is doing it. That was humiliating… Guys never sound good during sex. It’s impossible to sound good.”Oh please, like 60% of the Earth’s population wouldn’t want to hear that, Hugh. Either way, we bet you still sounded better than Scoop sounded on the big screen. Seriously, that was not a particularly good movie!

Real Steel Trailer Sure To Sell Some Toys This Christmas

While the upcoming action pic Real Steel is based on a classic Richard Matheson story (turned Twilight Zone episode) about a future where boxing matches are acted out by human-controlled robots, there’s no sign that they’ve kept the tragic climax of the original—an aging boxer being beaten half to death while pretending to be his broken robot. Instead, the movie looks like a mix of Transformers and Seabiscuit, with Hugh Jackman and his cute kid teaching a sweet old sparring robot how to become the big champ, win the money, save the day, and live happily ever after.

While it’s possible they’re hiding that original ending, the fact that a Real Steel sequel script is already being written suggests they don’t plan on leaving audiences bummed out. Either way, we’re guessing one major appeal of making this movie was the guarantee that Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots—or some variation on the theme—will sell like proverbial hotcakes this holiday season. Cross your fingers Hope Davis gets a cut for playing what looks like the “bitter, estranged wife” role against Jackman.

Hugh Jackman Turns Down Snow White Gig

According to Variety, Hugh Jackman has turned down the role of the Huntsman in the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman. Apparently he was considered a bit too high profile and expensive for the part, which was originally offered to Viggo Mortensen. Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron are attached to the project, which is scheduled to start shooting in August. On paper it seems like a great gig, so we gotta wonder why two actors have turned down the part. Could it be because the market is suddenly saturated with Snow White movies (including the Brothers Grimm version starring Lily Collins)? Or was Hugh just an unrealistic performer to try to get from the start?

With Viggo and Hugh out, Hollywood’s in the market for a new Huntsman. Who’s on your casting couch?

Jackman Asked To Strap On A Cross-Bow For Snow White And The Huntsman

Leather pants, weaponry, an inevitable shirtless scene: Hugh Jackman’s Huntsman in the upcoming Snow White movie seems like the role he’s been practicing for his entire life. Deadline reports that Universal has offered Hugh the role in Snow White And The Huntsman alongside Kristen Stewart’s Snow White and Charlie Theron‘s wicked witch. In fact, it was only director Darren Aronofsky’s decision to leave Jackman’s The Wolverine that freed up Hugh’s schedule enough to even consider filming the fairy tale flick. What we’re trying to say is, Hugh’s already jacked and prepared to sprint through a forest topless; let’s just slap a little Robin Hood hat on his head and put him in front of a camera.

Viggo Mortensen left Snow White and the role of the Hunstman last month due to either money issues, script reviews or to be in the new Superman: Man Of Steel, depending on who you ask. As ruggedly perfect as Viggo would have been, we hope Jackman accepts the role. He can even keep the adamantium claws on, as long as he doesn’t accidentally snag them on any dwarfs.

Looking at him as he left a gym in Sydney, you’d never guess he recently suffered a scary mishap while zipping down to Oprah’s set outside the Sydney Opera House on a rope (not that this is the kind of thing one usually guesses when looking at people).
