This Weekend’s Top 10 Celebrity Halloween Costumes

Of course, celebs like to play dress-up all year long, but this Halloween weekend provided a bonanza of crazy pics of famous people. Nicole Richie was one of our favorites. She was a dead ringer for Jennifer Lopez, even tweeting “My love don’t cost a thing,” along with a picture of her dressed in a pink velour tracksuit. She was heading to Kate Hudson‘s annual Halloween bash, as was Gwen Stefani, who was a picture perfect Cinderella. Heidi Klum freaked the hell out of us at her annual Halloween Party at Tao Nightclub. She came dressed as a corpse, complete with being wheeled in on a gurney. Ice-T and Coco are obvious picks too. We don’t what the hell Coco was dressed as as usual — there wasn’t enough fabric on her to tell — but Ice-T was Hannibal Lecter. Kim Kardashian made a pretty sexy and convincing Poison Ivy while hosting the Midori Melon Green Halloween bash at Lavo. You clearly can’t wrap a white sheet around yourself and pass off as a ghost anymore. (VH1 Blog has your fave VH1 stars in costume too!)

Holly Madison Insures Her Breasts For A Million Dollars

We wouldn’t mind being Holly Madison’s insurance agent. Not after The Girl Next Door bombshell took out a million dollar insurance policy on her breasts! She recently did the deal with the Lloyd’s of London firm, in order to protect herself and the cast of her Las Vegas show, Peepshow. Considering the fact that Hugh’s old flame appears topless in the production, it’s a pretty valid concern.

“I’ve heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, why not?” she explained to People Magazine, “Because if anything happened to my boobs, I’d be out for a few months and I’d probably be out a million dollars. I thought I’d cover my assets.” Although she knows how silly it must sound, she admits that the decision is purely business-related. “I think they’re getting the credit they deserve,” she says of her boobs. “They’re my primary money-makers right now.” Check out more of her “primary money-makers” in the gallery below!

Ditched Groom Hugh Hefner Gets Moral Support From Girls Next Door

Hugh Hefner‘s wedding to Crystal Harris is off, quite out of the blue. The wedding was supposed to be on Saturday but the 24 year-old ex playmate did a bunk after an apparent argument with her Playboy over the weekend. Hef tweeted a confirmation of the news writing, “The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart.” But he’s also said that their supposed argument didn’t happen. Hefner tweeted an explanation that stated, “The TMZ report that Crystal & I ‘had a nasty argument,’ prompting her to call off the wedding, is untrue. There were no arguments.”

This may be small consolation, but at least she walked out before the wedding and didn’t ditch him at the altar or something. The Hef agrees, tweeting, “The breakup is a heart breaker, but better now than after the marriage.” The good news is that he has heaps of support pouring in from everyone, especially from his ex-girlfriends, the Girls Next Door. Holly Madison re-tweeted Kendra Wilkinson‘s message and added her own bit with, “U r too sweet. Wish I was there to support, too! RT @KendraWilkinson:@hughhefner we r comin over w some jack n coke… oh n a pipe lol”.

Also showing some love was Bridget Marquardt who also tweeted, “Just stopped by the mansion 2 give @hughhefner a hug. He seems to be handling this well. He even had a sense of humor about it! #LoveUHef”. He sure does, considering he tweeted, “Since we’re not getting married on Saturday, I’ve scheduled a movie: “Runaway Bride.” Seems appropriate.” If anyone can get over this, we believe it’s the Hef. He’s such a rockstar.

Holly Madison Is Single Again

Holly Madison‘s going to have to start looking on Twitter for a date again. That’s how she met her boyfriend Jack Barakat, who was the lead guitarist for All Time Low. She had revealed. “We met through a mutual friend and then somehow somebody retweeted something funny he said on Twitter. So I started following him, and then we started Tweeting each other back and forth!” That easy, huh? Not really, because Jack and Holly have now split after seven months together.

They’re going the amicable route blaming distance as a factor, because Holly’s in Vegas for PeepShow while he’s going off on a spring tour. That’s the official excuse. We secretly think they just ran out of hash tags and trending topics and decided not to follow each other any more!

Holly Madison Wears Marilyn Monroe’s Face At Mechanic Premiere

What a bizarre black and white print Holly Madison has on…oh wait, that’s not random ink splotches—that’s Marilyn Monroe. The reality star paid tribute to the legendary lady by stretching her face across her body at the premiere of The Mechanic last night in Vegas. Can’t say this is a flattering look for either woman, to be honest. Maybe next time just rock a Marilyn t-shirt and jeans?

Holly Madison’s Twitter Account Is Her Dating Service

Online dating sites have a new competitor now, because this bit of news is going to give hopefuls new heart. Holly Madison has revealed she met her new boyfriend Jack Barakat on Twitter. Because there’s nothing like finding love in a 140 characters or less amidst thousands of followers.

Holly’s Twitter account was the site of their burning romance and she reveals, “We met through a mutual friend and then somehow somebody retweeted something funny he said on Twitter. So I started following him, and then we started Tweeting each other back and forth!” Hey, who are we to judge, right? Because we’re trying really hard not to. Things progressed to the real world quickly and we’re hoping only after she figured out he wasn’t a stalker or a psycho. “So then we started direct messaging each other and then exchanged numbers. We were texting for months, and finally when I had my vacation, I was like, ‘Do you wanna come out hang out with me?’ And he did and we hit it off right away” she added. Not judging. Must.Not.Judge. But she invited him on her vacation? Seriously?

Anyway, they look happy together. But then everyone looks happy on TV shows because they have to. You’ll be seeing plenty of him on her show Holly’s World in case you want the lowdown on their relationship. Here’s hoping you guys have moved on from micro-conversation and emoticons!

Holly Madison And Crystal Harris: Clash Of The Centerfolds

Things weren’t pretty when Holly Madison visited the Playboy Mansion recently to meet up with Hugh Hefner and his new fiancée Crystal Harris. Holly described the encounter, which was being filmed for her TV show Holly’s World, as “awkward,” and she said she did it because she “wanted to see [Hef] and Crystal and tell everybody face-to-face how I felt.” While we have to wait to see Holly’s World when it airs later this month, the former Girl Next Door hasn’t been shy about expressing “how she felt” to anyone who will listen.

Madison told Life & Style “I’d like to see Hef settle down. I just want it to be with the right person, and I feel like he’s making a hasty decision. I’m not sure Crystal is the best thing for him.” She also followed up by insinuating that she thinks Crystal may not have the best intentions. “Crystal hasn’t been around very long — she’s a mysterious character. No one knows much about her. Plus, she’s very young, probably too young to settle down. I’ve seen a lot of girls try to date Hef, and some have ulterior motives. I don’t think it would be a bad idea for him to get to know her a little better. I think it’s possible Crystal could break Hef’s heart. They could end up divorcing, and she could take half his money.” Ouch. Sour grapes much?

Holly Madison Confronts Hef And Crystal About Engagement

Having seen Holly Madison’s thousand-yard-stare on The Girls New Door, we assumed something like this might happen. Now apparently Holly Madison confronted Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris about their engagement this week. When she learned that her former flame Hef had popped the question, Holly admitted, “I’m very surprised. I have a lot of different feelings on it. I don’t just feel one way. I kind of didn’t want to put a generic statement out there like ‘Congratulations!’ because I felt everyone would see through that.” Holly and Hef of course parted ways in 2008, after which Madison dated Benji Madden and Criss Angel among others. We can’t imagine Holly’s current boyfriend, All Time Low member Jack Barakat, is super-thrilled that his girl seems to still have feelings for her ex-grandpa boyfriend.

So in a terrible move contemplated by many women and stopped by (almost) an equal number of best friends, Holly met with Hef and Crystal at the Playboy Mansion this week to tell them her feelings on the engagement, aka scream “Why not me?” and throw baby-oil on Hef’s smoking jacket. “I wanted to see him and Crystal and tell everybody face-to-face how I felt,” Madison explained, who filmed the encounter for the new season of her E! show Holly’s World. “I’d describe it as awkward. I just wanted to get my feelings out about the engagement and I wanted to talk to him first. It’s definitely awkward to feel like you’re confronting someone. I’m glad I did it. I wanted to be fair and tell him first.” Let’s hope Holly got the closure she needed. If not, we can tune into her show and see a beautiful woman cry over the love of a mummy. Which would make an amazing title for Hef’s next reality show.
