Madonna Tries To Bring Lourdes Into The Light At Yoga Benefit

Madonna & Lourdes Lon

Lourdes Leon may be a 13-year-old girl with fabulous style, her own fashion line and Madonna for a mother, but she’s still a 13-year-old girl. She certainly seemed to be giving her material mom a hard time, having to be pulled over to pose at last night’s “Bent For Learning” yoga benefit in NYC. The teens on Glee may think Madonna is the best, but that doesn’t mean her kid never treats her like the worst. Even more awkward appearances at the event included Sean Lennon‘s doorman outfit and Gwyneth Paltrow‘s wrinkled go-go dress (had she just made out with William Shatner on a faraway planet?). Way to sell yoga, guys. Check out these stars, the ominpresent Kelly Bensimon and more in the gallery below.

Critics’ Choice Movie Awards: Top 10 Hottest Red Carpet Looks

hottest

There were a lot of hot looks at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards and it was no easy task narrowing down the best of the best. Still, we managed to wade through all of sartorial options that Hollywood presented us and we narrowed it down to our ten favorites.

10.

anna-kendrick

Anna Kendrick‘s long black dress had a beautiful silhouette, but what really wowed us was the elegant back detail and frilly bottom. We love her polished ponytail too, which gave the look a fun, youthful touch.

9.

monique

We love the detailing along Mo’nique‘s neckline, but her other accessory (that would be a Best Supporting Actress statue for Precious) is pretty stunning too. Her look is polished and that dress fits her like a glove. This is one of the more understated outfits Mo’nique has worn on the red carpet, and we love it.

Top eight looks after the jump!

Critics’ Choice Awards Live Blog Party

critics-choice-awards-lineup1

The media is going gaga over Sunday’s Golden Globes, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves, people. Do the Globes have Nick Jonas & The Administration as its house band? Do the Globes have Adam Lambert and Sarah Silverman presenting an award together (spoiler: expect something memorable)? Are John Krasinski, Amy Poehler and Death Cab for Cutie paying tribute to John Hughes at the Golden Globes? True, the Globes have funnyman Ricky Gervais as its host, but is he as easy on the eyes as funny girl and CCMA host Kristin Chenoweth? Of course not!

That’s why you’ll want to watch VH1 tonight at 9PM EST (red carpet, 8:30) and join our Critics’ Choice Blog Party right here or via mobile by texting PARTY to 22422. Blogging along with us are our pals Moviefone, The Envelope, The Huffington Post, BestWeekEver and fashion experts Refinery29.

Expect to see most actors nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award at the show (we’re talking A-listers at the George Clooney/Meryl Streep/Matt Damon level), plus a lineup of presenters that includes Kristen Bell, Emily Blunt, Bradley Cooper, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Vera Farmiga, Heather Graham, Samuel L. Jackson, Tobey Maguire, Amy Poehler, Zoe Saldana and Susan Sarandon. Critics’ Choice is known as the best barometer for who will win at the Academy Awards. So use tonight to start filling out your Oscar ballots.

EXCLUSIVE: It’s Anything Goes As Adam Lambert, Sarah Silverman Take Critics’ Choice Stage

adam-lambert-sarah-silverman-critics-choice

The Critics’ Choice Movie Awards isn’t known for drama. It’s known for its uncanny tendency to predict Oscar winners. That’s why Adam Lambert and Sarah Silverman presenting an award together at the show might feel like a wolf pack of two casing a herd of fenced-in sheep. Need we remind you that “Good Morning America” recently cut an upcoming Adam Lambert performance after his same sex AMAs kiss? Remember Sarah dissing both Paris Hilton and Hollywood at the MTV Movie Awards? Now we have two of America’s most provocative mainstream personalities on the same stage at the same time talking to a captive group of Hollywood’s elite. And we haven’t even mentioned that Tracy Morgan is also presenting!

Additional higlights of the show: Nick Jonas & The Administration will serve as the Critics’ Choice house band; special tribute will be paid to recently deceased director John Hughes by John Krasinski, Amy Poehler and Death Cab for Cutie, which will perform “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” from “The Breakfast Club”; and Kevin Bacon will be presented with a philanthropic award by no less than Meryl Streep. Additional presenters include Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, Kristen Bell, Emily Blunt, Cedric the Entertainer, Bradley Cooper, Rob Corddry, Abbie Cornish, Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Vera Farmiga, Heather Graham, Ed Helms, Samuel L. Jackson, Ken Jeong, Tobey Maguire, Amy Poehler, Craig Robinson, Zoe Saldana and Susan Sarandon.

Hosted by Kristin Chenoweth, Critics’ Choice will air live on VH1 Friday, Jan. 15 at 9:00PM ET. Check back here as we live-blog the show with our partner sites, including AOL’s Moviefone, The Envelope, The Huffington Post, BestWeekEver and fashion experts Refinery29. Blondes And Big Hats At Sherlock Holmes Premiere

Robert Downey Jr. & Rachel Adams

Robert Downey Jr. didn’t know he’d snagged a Golden Globe nomination for Sherlock Holmes when he hit the film’s premiere in London last night, but Iron Man was struttin’ anyway. Joining the hatted hero (who should have rocked his old mustache too) and fellow fop Jude Law—flaunting a long scarf to slightly less dramatic effect—were blondes Heather Graham, Gwen Stefani and Holmes co-star Rachel McAdams. Check out photos from the premiere in the gallery below.

Heidi Montag Steals Kristin’s Cut-Out Dress

heidi montag & spencer pratt

Ohhhh…..Speidi. Speidi, Speidi, Speidi. We knew they were shameless, but we remain impressed by the imagination they show in chasing the next photo op. Rather than something obvious like pig masks or day-glo saris, this time they’ve grabbed our attention by putting Heidi Montag in that cut-out covered dress Kristin Cavallari and Heather Graham both wore on the red carpet last week. Is this the self-humiliating photo op it seems, or does she think this dress is the latest trend? Now that Heidi’s tried it on, it’s hard to imagine anyone following in her footsteps—well, except Bruno.

Kristin Roots Through Heather’s Dirty Laundry

KristinCavallari

Bad luck, Kristin Cavallari. There you were, in possession of a fierce Herve Leger dress that showed off your amazing bod to its best, plus with those paparazzi-baiting slashes that were sure to grab you headlines. All you needed to do was wear it to a glam event in L.A. (check!) and make sure that no-one else, say Heather Graham, perhaps, had worn it the day before you, and already garnered those ‘OMG look at her dress!’ headlines. Oh. Whoops!
