Gaga Leads Our Top 5 Best-Dressed Stars At The MTV EMAs

It was slim pickings out there. The MTV Europe Music Awards 2011 took place in Belfast, Ireland, yesterday, and the red carpet wasn’t exactly filled with the best fashion. Still, we’re quite happy with this list of best-dressed stars. And to our surprise, Lady Gaga is one of them. We agree that the blue-gray lipstick is a bit much for a normal person. But this is Gaga so it’s tame for her standards, right? More important, look at her dress. It’s almost architectural looking, as if it’s been created from flat silver cubes and way more interesting than what anyone else wore. She wins, period.

The rest of the shortlist includes Selena Gomez who looked beautiful in an ivory, ruffled Marchesa gown with a very sexy back. Irina Shayk wore emerald earrings and a dual-fabric gown with a thigh-high slit, and Hayden Panettiere rocked a Tibi black-and-white silk twill dress. Very French maid, but with a twist. Rounding off the list is Adam Lambert and God bless him for his sky-high quiff and bright blue shoes. Did we get our selection right? Remember when Aaliyah sang “Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number”? Well, these celebrity couples of past and present are intent on showing us that the same thing goes for height. From basketball stars towering over their significant others to models and their shorter male counterparts, these couples prove that size does not matter. Although some have moved on while others are still going strong, these stars seem to know how to make it work when it comes to a vertical challenge. Mark Sanchez Who? Hayden Panettiere Dating NFL’S Scotty McKnight

Just because Hayden Panettiere and Mark Sanchez were spending time together, doesn’t mean they were dating. Because the story is that she’s already got another man — also an athlete — on her speed dial. Hayden is dating Scotty McKnight of the New York Jets, who’s also a teammate and good friend of Sanchez’s. Hayden had told USmagazine, “I’m a huge Jets fan and became very good friends with Mark and his buddies. I’ve always been that girl who has a lot of dude friends. I’m into sports so we have a lot in common.” Yes we know how into sports you are because you only seem to date athletes now! We’re ignoring her past relationship with Milo Ventimiglia.

Sources are swearing that Hayden and Scotty are doing just fine with each other! What we’d like to see though, is pictures. Come on people! We need to see the two of them together, stat, or someone needs to start talking. Also, Wladimir Klitschko, who? We love hearing about new relationships and all that, but didn’t they just break up? Girlfriend moves fast!

Hayden Panettiere Hanging Out With NY Jets QB Mark Sanchez

Well, he’s certainly her type. Less than a month after splitting from hulking boyfriend Vladimir Klitschko, Hayden Panettiere stepped out with New York Jets QB Mark Sanchez and another couple to get some In-N-Out Burger in Laguna Hills Monday. TerezOwens said last week that Hayden and Mark were initially friends, with the Heroes star making romantic moves after she was dumped by the 6’6″ Ukranian boxer. While Mark Sanchez is only 6’2″, that’s still a solid foot above Hayden’s height—more than enough for the Jet to qualify as a suitable rebound hunk.

Despite posting photos of Hayden & Mark’s “date,” RumorFix says their source claims the pair are “just friends.” That’s all well and good, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Klitschko called up some tiny, blond European “friends” to grab some chow as soon as he saw the shots. How long before musical loving Mark takes the lady to a Broadway premiere?

Hayden Panettiere & Vladimir Klitschko Break Up

Maybe it doesn’t “work” after all. Hayden Panettiere told People that she has split from her 35-year-old boxer boyfriend Vladimir Klitschko, blaming the fact that they live on different continents. “Even though we’ve decided splitting up is best for both of us, we have an amazing amount of love and respect for each other and remain very close friends,” she told the magazine. “It’s not that easy to manage a relationship between two continents,” he added. “I have a lot of respect for Hayden as a person and as a friend, and I believe we’ll keep our friendship even after the separation.”

Ironically, their year-and-a-half long relationship reached its highest profile last month, when Heroes star Hayden admitted on Ellen that everyone wants to know how a 5’1″ actress has sex with a 6’6″ boxer. “I get the prudest people coming up to me and they’re like, ‘Does it work?’ Yeah, it works. We find a way…Where there is a will, there is a way!” Fair enough, but we still bet next time they’ll aim for lovers closer to their own height—who live closer to their zip code.

Celebrities Get Sexy At US Magazine Hot Hollywood Style Issue Party

Just the name of this party itself would give us stress! Imagine the pressure to look, well, hot, at the Us Magazine Hot Hollywood Style Issue bash. Some stars caved, like Lauren Conrad, who needs to fire her entire entourage — hairdresser, stylist and make-up artist — stat. Her bun looks heavier than her whole body, she’s got this weird geisha white powder thing going on with her face and her sloppy blouson-teeny skirt ensemble just isn’t working. Jessica Szhor also seems to have been inspired by her namesake Jessica Lowndes bra-baring ensembles. The lace doesn’t make it classy, ladies.

Who did make it work was Camila Alves who was ridiculously sexy in a fire-engine red strapless dress with lips to match. Carmen Electra looked like a blonde Sofia Vergara, and knocked it out of the ball park with a simple metallic shift. Sara Rue, Pia Toscano, Alexa Vega, Paris Hilton (who looked really demure), Brooke Burke and Petra Nemcova all stepped it up in the wardrobe department as well. We’d also like to say that the magazine’s “Style Icon of the Year” Jessica Simpson is getting there one ensemble at a time. Really, really getting there. Good for you, Jess! Scream 4 Review: Welcome Back, Ghostface.

You know the image of a worm eating its own tail? That’s sort of a metaphor for Scream 4. The film is a remake, a sequel and a movie about a movie, all in one. And with so many sly references to its predecessors, it’s hard to figure out where all the winking at the audience ends and the movie begins. That said, Scream 4 reunites all three main cast-members from the original films, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette, with director Wes Craven and screenwriter Kevin Williamson, and it’s still an enjoyable movie, no matter how meta it gets.

The film takes place in Woodsboro, California, hometown of Sidney Prescott (Campbell), the former high school student terrorized by the original Ghostface killer who murdered all of her friends in 1996. All grown-up Sidney is back in Woodsboro (although her haircut hasn’t changed) on a book tour at the insistence of her pushy publicist, Rebecca, played by Alison Brie, because she’s written a self-help book based on her past. And where better to promote a book about moving on than the town you desperately moved away from?

But you know who’s not psyched to see Sid? Gale Weathers (Cox), who went from reporter of small-town murders to successful novelist of the Stab books based on said small town murders, to housewife (she married Deputy Dewey, played by Arquette, who is now Sheriff Dewey) with writers block. Dewey, however, is thrilled to see Sid, which annoys Gale, but not as much as Deputy Judy (Marley Shelton) annoys Gale. Judy has the hots for Dewey real bad and she’s not very subtle about it. That’s roughly all there is to her character, so consider this your first and last meeting with Judy in this review. Sidney plans to stay with her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell) and cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) while in town, but of course, as soon as Sidney arrives, teens start getting gutted by the truckload. Rounding out the impressive supporting cast are an underused Adam Brody and Anthony Anderson as cops, Hayden Panettiere as Jill’s sass-talkin’ BFF Kirby, and Rory Culkin as horror-film buff Charlie. (Not to mention cameos from Shenae Grimes, Anna Paquin and Kristen Bell.) A large percentage of the people listed here get murdered, FYI.

TMI Alert: Hayden Panettiere Talks About Sex With Her Boyfriend

How obliging of Hayden Panettiere. She talks about sex with boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko with her fans! The petite actress — she’s 5’1 — spoke about how people are concerned with the birds and bees with her boxer BF on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where Ellen seemed quite appalled at the privacy breach! Not Hayden though. She revealed, “I get the prudest people coming up to me and they’re like, ‘Does it work?’ Yeah, it works. We find a way… Where there is a will, there is a way!” To which Ellen replied, “I know what you’re talking about, but I’m in shock!”

Hayden went into more details about the intrusive questions saying, “[The people who ask me how sex works with my boyfriend] are very conservative people most of the time but that just have to know. Like, I have to know, I just have to ask you this question. I’m really sorry but…” Wladimir is 6’6 so people are probably wondering if Hayden needs a ladder or something right? It’s totally weird but Hayden responded, “I don’t mind it.” That’s even weirder! But honestly, if you had to ask a nosy question, it’s better to ask Hayden rather than Wladimir. Cheerleader versus Boxer. Choose your battles wisely.

Scream 4 Premiere Full Of Young Ladies, Arquettes And ’90s Vets

David Arquette swears he’s on good terms with estranged wife Courteney Cox, and last night’s Scream 4 premiere was a good place to prove it. The duo hugged and posed with eternal co-star Neve Campbell on the red carpet, which they shared with old Scream friends (Jamie Kennedy, Matthew Lillard) and new (Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Kristen Bell), not to mention David’s sisters Patricia and Rosanna. Also haunting the scene was Marilyn Manson, who mugged alongside everyone from Eli Roth to Shenae Grimes. Sadly his Scream star ex Rose McGowan wasn’t in attendance, but we can’t blame Marilyn for keeping tabs on this late-90s horror franchise: he’s one, too!
