The Post Halloween Edition: Top 10 Celebrity Costume Round-Up

We have so much material for you that your Halloween costumes should be sorted out for the next couple of years. There are so many options to check out. You could take inspiration from our very own FABlifers or you could take a look at our gallery of celebrity Halloween twitpics. Perhaps the early bird stars who played dress-up over the weekend will float your boat? Don’t see anything you like? Then skedaddle over to Best Week Ever’s rundown of the only 13 celeb Halloween costumes that matter, or VH1 Blog’s ultimate gallery of VH1 stars’ costumes. Our halos are polished to a high shine.

And we’re not done yet. Since yesterday was the last day for trick-or-treating and Halloween costumes, celebrities really outdid themselves. The final few we loved were folks like Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford who cracked us up by getting their ’80s on as members of Mötley Crüe. Eden Wood from Toddlers and Tiaras was big this year with Chrissy Teigen and Fergie dressing up as her. Kelly Ripa outdid herself on Live! With Regis and Kelly along with Nick Lachey. Their first outfit sequence had Kelly dressed up as Eden as well, and Nick as Charlie Sheen. Their second has Kelly as Kim Kardashian and Nick (on stilts) as Kris Humphries on their wedding day. Ouch! The sexiest prize goes to Miranda Kerr who was the hottest ringmaster ever, and we’d like to give a round of applause to the mommies-to-be as well. Beyoncé was the cutest bumblebee in town, while Jennifer Garner was a witch.

Check out the gallery for the final top 10 celebrity Halloween costumes. We hope you had a FAB weekend.

Shia LaBeouf Pretty Sure There’s Another Indiana Jones In His Future

You might have thought the glass-skulled alien shenanigans of the last movie would have put the kibosh on any more sequels, but Shia LaBeouf’s Indiana Jones comments are correct, we’re going to see a lot more refrigerators survive a lot more nuclear explosions in the near future. “I talked to Harrison [Ford], he said he’s staying in the gym, he said he’s heard no word, but he does know that George [Lucas] is out there looking for a MacGuffin,” the Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon star claimed. For those who aren’t sure, a MacGuffin is a central plot point that drives a movie, not a crime-fighting dog as we might have previously claimed. Actually, at this point we wouldn’t be surprised if that ended up being Indy’s new sidekick in the next film.

Said Shia about original action hero Ford, “He said he’s staying in the gym, so it means, you know, it’s not so far off.” Call us cynical, but we’re guessing Harrison should just go ahead and put a down payment on the gym, because he’s going to be there awhile. In fact, go ahead and tell his grandbabies to send his birthday cards there.

Cowboys And Aliens Are The Peanut Butter And Chocolate Of Action Flicks

We know what you’re thinking: cowboys fighting aliens? However, the same thing must have been said of the first person who mixed chocolate and peanut butter together. Now we have Reese’s peanut butter cups, and the world would cease to function if they somehow ceased to exist. Based on a comic book series by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg, the Cowboys And Aliens trailer seems to ponder the age-old question: what if alien invaders tried to take over the Wild Wild West? Given that it stars Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig and a fresh-from-Tron Olivia Wilde, we’re assuming no creature is going get away with any probing without losing an arm…or a tentacle.

However, don’t feel like you know what’s going to happen just because you’ve seen E.T. and True Grit back to back. Earlier this month director Jon Favreau says the Cowboys And Aliens plot twists are very deliberately going to be kept from the audience. “They tend to be more intrigued by something that holds a sense of mystery, where you feel like you are getting to experience something new and not just fulfilling a check list of the trailer that you saw when you go to see the movie,” Favreau says of potential moviegoers. The only genre mash-up we’d like better then this one would would be a zombie movie mixed with, oh, we don’t know, a romance set in 19th century England. Oh wait, that’s already coming out in 2013!

Rachel McAdams Shows Skin At Morning Glory‘s UK Premiere

Rachel McAdams

We loved the glamorous red dress Rachel McAdams wore to the German premiere of Morning Glory, but the actress took a different tack while hawking the film in London last night. It may have been cold enough for co-star Harrison Ford to rock a scarf, but McAdams braved the breeze to strut around the red carpet in a low-cut dress that will appeal to side-boob enthusiasts everywhere. Get a closer look at her dress in the gallery below.

Rachel McAdams Goes Red To Get Morning Glory Out Of It

Rachel McAdams

Oh, the belated international release date. How else do you explain stars like Rachel McAdams dressing glamorously to promote a film that has already tanked in the U.S. While the wacky morning-show-themed Morning Glory only made $30 million stateside, stars McAdams and Harrison Ford were on hand for the film’s premiere in Berlin this weekend, with producers undoubtedly hoping their presence will help boost European grosses (the film’s budget was $40 million). McAdams certainly did her part, wearing a dramatic red dress that would probably look more extreme if the wall and carpet weren’t also red. Get a closer look in the gallery below.

Rachel McAdams Looks Gorgeous At Morning Glory Premiere

morning glory premiere 081110

We have an irrational love for Rachel McAdams, so forgive us if we fawn over her for a moment, we think she looked great at the premiere for her latest film last night. McAdams is currently starring in Morning Glory, which looks to be the kind of movie you and your parents will end up seeing together over Thanksgiving because while it stars McAdams and hot hot Patrick Wilson, it also has Diane Keaton and Harrison Ford to bridge the generation gap. (McAdams and Keaton already starred together in The Family Stone, and dammit if that’s one of those good-bad movies we can’t help watching that every time it’s on HBO.)

While we love McAdams’ look on the red carpet, and we’re also kind of a fan of Diane Keaton’s leather dress, some of the other celebs look a bit wind-swept, no? (We’re looking at you, Hoda and Harrison.) Check them all out below.

Jessica Simpson Shoulders Onto Extraordinary Measures Premiere

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson may be taking time away from her country music career, but judging from her outfit at last night’s Extraordinary Measures premiere in Hollywood, she hasn’t lost that country style; her shoulder-padded suit-jacket over see-through black turtleneck and leggings gave us serious Designing Women flashbacks.

Hope this wasn’t meant to impress professional collaborator Billy Corgan—not all black ensembles are goth. Also attending the premiere were stars Brendan Fraser, Kerri Russell and Harrison Ford, who was joined by fiancee Calista Flockhart. Check out what they wore in the gallery below.

Confirmed! Harrison Ford And Calista Flockhart Are Engaged

harrison ford & calista flockhart

Yes, Harrison Ford has finally put a ring on it. The Indiana Jones star confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that he has proposed to Calista Flockhart, the former Ally McBeal and his girlfriend of over seven years. “You’d be the first to know if we weren’t, wouldn’t you? Yes, of course we are [engaged]. I’m delighted.” The marriage will be Ford’s third and Flockhart’s first.

Suspicions have buzzed around the pair for months, but this is the first time either star has acknowledged the engagement. With this rumor now verified, gossip junkies can move on to the unconfirmed news that the 66-year-old is looking to adopt.

Josh Hartnett Just Can’t Stop Complaining

Josh Hartnett isn’t a pretty boy Hollywood actor, OK — and blimey, doesn’t he want us all to know it. The star of The Faculty and 40 Days and 40 Nights (and don’t you forget it mate), is in London treading the boards in a West End production of RainMan. To celebrate, he’s given a whiney, miserable interview to the capital’s ES Magazine bemoaning his terrible lot in life. The highlights (or should we say lowlights?) include:

  • Asked whether he’s happy: “No, I wouldn’t say I’m happy.”
  • Asked what love feels like: “A kick in the face.”
  • Commenting on the fact his agent never told him he’d won a role in The Thin Red Line: “That’s Hollywood. It’s horrible, right?” (OK, maybe we’re with you on that one)
  • On presenting at the Oscars: “I went with my girlfriend and we had a weird little time.”
  • On starring with Harrison Ford in Hollywood Homicide: “It was a tough shoot for me because I was only half there … I was like the kid who had to be shooed away. Harrison’s a tough guy. He wasn’t all warm and fuzzy on set, that’s for sure.”

God, even though it’s Friday now WE feel depressed Josh. Lighten up a bit FFS! You’re fit, successful and have got loads of cash. What on earth are you going to be like when your career’s on the skids?
