Damn, Ginnifer Goodwin And Jennifer Morrison Got Serious Airport Style

Why couldn’t these two ladies have channeled some of this into their sartorially challenged People’s Choice Awards oufits? Ginnifer Goodwin and Jennifer Morrison who star together on ABC’s Once Upon a Time, arrived at Vancouver airport and were taken straight to the set of the show. But more importantly, they arrived looking like they walked out of an advertisement. This is so ’70s glam it’s unbelievable. If you can forget the Canadian flag on the display board in the photograph on the right, this could totally be Paris where they’ve arrivées to be fabulous and jet-set. Don’t miss the matching Louis Vuitton travel totes and wayfarer glasses. Ginnifer may get extra points for her fedora, though. It’s so “I’m an actress” that we love it.

The 7 Worst-Dressed At The People’s Choice Awards (Sorry!!!)

We’re as surprised at this list of the worst-dressed ladies at the People’s Choice Awards as you are. A lot of our favorites are in there, so don’t bother throwing stones at us, because we’ve beaten ourselves up plenty already. But in the interest of fairness, we’ll just chalk their fashion missteps down as a bad day at the stylists. Each of these women are lovely, but bad decisions can happen to anyone right?

Leading the way, sadly, is Vanessa Hudgens. She does her hippie-meets-goth thing usually, but this Jenny Packham gown combined the worst of both styles. We don’t like the way it’s constructed and the two layers — the black gown and the gold spiderweb — are looking slopply. The Casadei heel look too clunky, as well. Still, top points for her luminous smile! Next up is Jennifer Morrison, whose severe, huge bun and slash of too-dark lipstick veers into matron territory. That Oscar de la Renta dress is vaguely reminiscent of a lampshade. We feel it would’ve looked a lot better if she had done something different with her hair and make-up — perhaps gone softer. Her buddy Ginnifer Goodwin is also on the list. We love the color of her Roksanda Ilinicic dress, but those sleeves looks like they’re going to eat her alive, just like those Jimmy Choo’s look like they’re eating her feet. It’s too much dress for such a tiny body. Another disappointment was Lucy Hale, who is so pretty, but her black Cengiz Abazoğlu number has a split personality. It feels like she couldn’t decide whether she wanted to wear a maxi or a mini, so ended up going with both. (more…)

Review: Something Borrowed Is The New Terrible Rom-Com We Want To Watch Again

Good news for those of us who watch 27 Dresses, The Devil Wears Prada and Bride Wars over and over again on cable while hungover on the couch sitting in a sea of bagel crumbs: we’ve got a new go-to rom-com to indulge in! Clocking in at just under two hours, Something Borrowed nicely fulfills every cliche we so desire in a wedding movie. It’s a movie ripped from the pages of Rom-Com 101, and while it’s fun to watch, it’s also absolutely, utterly terrible. We loved—and hated—every second of it.

Ginnifer Goodwin (decked out in cinema’s worst wig since Bella’s horrific headpiece in Eclipse) plays Rachel, a good girl who feels bad about herself despite being a beautiful lawyer with a ROOF DECK. We all know people in NYC with roof decks have NOTHING to be sad about, right? She’s inexplicably still BFF with her childhood friend Darcy (Kate Hudson), who seems to have no job other than insulting Rachel and seeing how wide she can open her mouth. Darcy is engaged to Rachel’s law school buddy Dex (Colin Egglesfield), despite there being absolutely zero chemistry between them. Oh – in one scene we hear them having loud sex, so we guess that means they’re meant to be together forevs? Egglesfield looks like a Tom Cruise untouched by the crazy-making ways of Scientology and has the charisma of a robot whose batteries are on their last legs. Thus it’s extra confusing as to why Rachel is still in love with him and not her platonic pal Ethan, played by zing-slinging pro John Krasinski.

Stars Swing By The Something Borrowed Premiere, Kate Hudson Nails It!

We’re saluting Kate Hudson right about now. She looks like she’s about to pop and getting dressed up for movie premieres can’t be the most comfortable thing to do at this stage. But look at her! She looks absolutely stunning in that primrose yellow Versace gown! She wore it to the Hollywood premiere of Something Borrowed held at Grauman’s Chinese theatre yesterday. Isn’t it the perfect choice? We couldn’t hope to look half as good, and we’re not eight months pregnant!

Even though the silhouette is completely different, we don’t know why we were reminded of that other iconic yellow dress she wore on screen in How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days. Looks like yellow is her color! Kate finished up her look with a ring and earrings from her new collaboration with Chrome Hearts called CH + KH. All the other celebrities paled in comparison, but we’ve put a gallery together of the event for you to check out. Ginnifer Goodwin, Hilary Swank, Kat Graham and more in the photos below.

Red Carpet Winners: The 10 Best Dressed Stars At The Met Gala

Here they are, our picks for Best Dressed at this year’s Costume Institute Gala. Our finalists captured a mix of moods, from old-school glam girls Gwyneth Paltrow and Ashley Greene, to pops of color on Kristen Stewart and J-Lo, to the risky and avant garde looks on Christina Ricci and Ginnifer Goodwin. The one thing they all have in common – serious confidence, which is our favorite red carpet accessory.

Celebrities Party It Up At The Vanity Fair Oscar Party

How gorgeous did everyone look at the massive Vanity Fair Oscar party at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood! We had already seen the likes of winners Natalie Portman and Colin Firth at the show, but plenty of other celebrities, who we hadn’t necessarily focussed on, came out to play. And one couple who got adorably frisky together were Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, who held hands and were quite cozy through out. Can we also say Selena rocked it in a gorgeous red Dolce & Gabbana gown? Sure it’s grown up, but Ms Gomez pulled it off admirably especially with the Biebs accessorizing her arm! She also was cutesy with pal Taylor Swift who sparkled (as usual) in a strapless gold beaded Zuhair Murad mini dress.

Gwyneth Paltrow also changed out of her Oscar gown into the Michael Kors number she wore to perform onstage, and posed with buddy Cameron Diaz. The latter’s legs went on for miles in a flirty short-short Carolina Herrera. Other couples included Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel who wore sexy Versace, and Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin who looked great in a red Monique Lhuillier dress. Ginnifer Goodwin Pulls A Giraffe Gaffe At Tom Ford Opening In Beverly Hills

Fashion Week is in New York, right? Then why exactly are all the stars on the other side of the country in Beverly Hills? That’s because Tom Ford called—and is as sexy as ever, BTW—and when he throws a ‘do, everyone shows up. Ford opened his flagship store in Beverly Hills yesterday, and it turned out to be a mini fashion week in it’s own right, as expected.

The love of our life, Colin Firth was there with the love of his life, wife Livia. Rosario Dawson teemed up her little black dress with a pair of leopard print pumps, while Eva Longoria went slinky in a pair of sequined black pants. Milla Jovovich was risque in a plunging sheer black blouson, hiding her modesty with a houndstooth suit. We were kinda disappointed by two men who normally make us drool every time we see them. Alexander Skarsgard and Bradley Cooper, to be precise. Skarsgard looked strangely parboiled with a weirdish, uneven tan — like he had sunglasses on while the rest of his face ended up getting sunburnt. Cooper had these creepy old man sunglasses on which were a little too Jack Nicholson for us. Adrien Brody, on the other hand, didn’t disappoint sticking to his usual lounge lizard style.

The most unusual outfit of the evening went to Ginnifer Goodwin. While her pant suit looked normal (and kinda boring, to be honest) from the front, turn around and bam… giraffes! Celebrities Walk The 13th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards Carpet

Never ever diss the wardrobe department. So when they have an awards show, you put on your best dress, your sharpest suit and attend. At the 13th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards, held at the swanky Beverly Hilton hotel, the stars did just that. We’d also like to pack Kellan Lutz in our suitcase and take him everywhere with us. The Twilight star wore the hell out of a suit, making us unabashedly drool over our keyboard.

We’ll have to say that no one could hold a candle against Halle Berry, though. The actress looked better than we’ve ever seen her (and that’s no mean feat) in a gorgeous deep pink — some blogs say red, but it looks pink to us — Elie Saab gown. Kristen Davis came a not-so-distant second in an unusual retro ivory and black polka-dotted Oscar de la Renta. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore put on a united happy front, and the actress rocked it, as usual, in a blue strapless number.

Chloe Sevigny Nearly Blown Away At Big Love Premiere

Chloe Sevigny

Chloe Sevigny‘s crazy fashion sense may have been on full display at last night’s Big Love premiere, but judging from pics like this from the bash, she clearly didn’t suck the air out of the room. “It was a hard blow to take,” she said about the upcoming fifth season being the last . “We always thought we’d last six seasons. I love the character and I love being in the show, and I really wanted to go another season.” We’re guessing they’ll be going out with a bang, though. See photos of Sevigny, fellow fashion victim Ginnifer Goodwin and other ladies from the cast below.
