Spice Girl Mel B Is Pregnant

Apparently what the Spice Girls all really, really want, besides to zig-a-zig-ahh, are loads of babies. Posh Spice, Victoria Beckham, is pregnant with her fourth child, the appropriately-named Baby Spice, Emma Bunton, has number two on the way, and it was just announced that Melanie “Mel B” Brown, the scariest of all Spices, is pregnant with her third child.

Speaking to US Magazine, Brown said “Both my pregnancies have been lucky and happy and exciting, no matter what situation I’ve been in.” Perhaps she was referencing the “exciting” paternity battle she engaged in with ex Eddie Murphy over their daughter Angel, now 3. “This is different because we have been married for four years,” Brown said, referring to her husband Stephen Belafonte. “We have a history together, we’re best friends, we’re in it together, and he’s totally supportive.” Congrats to all the Spices on your new babies and your ability to stay topical all these years later!

We Want To Get Drunk With Mel B

Out of all the former Spice Girls, the one we’d probably most want to have a night out with would be Mel B. Emma seems a bit nicey-nicey, Mel C’s too busy with her new baby, Geri would be all needy and overanalytical and just the thought of ingesting calories in front of Victoria Beckham is enough to bring us out in a rash. Thank goodness then, that Mel has fulfilled our totally spurious assessment as to her personality by indulging in a fantastically un-L.A. night out at a London hotel.

Dressed in what looked like her workout gear, Mel pitched up at the bar of the May Fair hotel with husband Stephen Belafonte and made herself comfortable. Over the next few hours they knocked back the champagne, put on a TMI floorshow for everyone else, Mel jokingly snogged a stranger and eventually had to be helped back to her room in the early hours by hotel staff. Baby Spice A Surprise Smoking Diva

She was always the nicey-nicey Spice girl, and Emma Bunton‘s post-pop career has seen her do nothing more scandalous than — whoah! — have a baby with her boyfriend of a million years but not yet get married. So it came as quite a surprise to hear the report that claimed Emma threw her toys out of the pram when she wasn’t allowed to smoke in a club. Even though no one else in the entire UK is allowed since the smoking ban two years ago.

“She had a long conversation with the manager, as she said she didn’t want to have to go out on the street. She was told that they don’t make exceptions like that for anyone, even royalty, and with that she stormed out of the venue,” reports the London Paper. Ooohhhh. We love a secret diva.
