Celebrities Flock Court-Side To Watch The NBA All-Star Game

Sunday night, the NBA All-Star game court-side at the Staples Center in L.A was studded with celebrities. Rihanna put on a raunchy show singing a medley of her hits with guest performers Drake and Kanye West. She spent the rest of the game chilling with one very happy Justin Bieber while Lenny Kravitz sat one space away. It was also Rihanna’s birthday yesterday so can we please have a chorus of Happy Birthday RiRi!

Right by the Biebs and a flame haired Rih’, were superstar couple Jay-Z and a gorgeous Beyonce, who had the sexiest pair of crystal Christian Louboutin skyscraper pumps on. They looked super-relaxed while chowing down on nachos, so screw the rumors that Jay-and-Bey are separating. They weren’t the only ones snacking while watching the game. Rick Fox and Eliza Dushku chowed down too. Ellen Pompeo and her husband Chris Ivery were watching from the crowds as well. What? No court-side tickets, guys?

Also, in one of the oddest seating arrangements ever, Lil Wayne was sitting next to Maria Shriver, who were a couple of seats away from John Legend and girlfriend-supermodel Chrissy Teigen. The Chicago Bulls mascot , Benny the Bull, got lucky, getting Teigen to sit on his lap while Legend took pictures. Looking far more serious were P Diddy and Nick Cannon who sat together. Shriver wasn’t around without her husband, in case you’re wondering. Arnold Schwarzenegger was around chatting with Gene Simmons.

Katherine Heigl Confirms She’s Done With Grey’s Anatomy

Katherine Heigl

Izzie? Who’s Izzie? Katherine Heigl confirms that she shan’t be returning to the set of Grey’s Anatomy—which she’s been noticeably absent from of late. “I’m done. We just finalized our agreement. Everyone had been working really hard to find an amicable and gracious way of letting go and moving on. It’s sad but it’s what I wanted.” And sorry, fans…that “amicable and gracious way of letting go” will not involve her returning to tie up any loose ends, making her final appearance in January truly her final appearance. “I know I’m disappointing the fans. I just had to make a choice. I hope I made the right one.”

Though Heigl claims motherhood—and not her rising movie stardom—is what caused her new outlook (“I started a family and it changed everything for me”), we can’t imagine frienemy co-stars like Ellen Pompeo and the writers she dissed by pulling her name from Emmy consideration in 2008 will be sad to see her go. And now she won’t have to deal with those 17-hour-work days…unless her movie stardom goes the way of Shelley Long‘s.

Baby Battle: Katherine Heigl Vs. Ellen Pompeo

Katherine Heigl and Ellen Pompeo

In a move worthy of a dramatic nighttime medical soap opera, people are accusing Katherine Heigl of trying to upstage her co-star Ellen Pompeo by revealing her adoption details on the same day that Pompeo pooped out her new baby. A source familiar with both actresses said that Heigl’s adoption of 10-month-old Naleigh, which was made public on September 15, was planned to detract from Pompeo’s baby delivery. “It was very curious timing for her to drop that. It was an adopted kid — she could have chosen any other day to make it public. Why compete?” the source said.

Then Pompeo announced her baby’s birth yesterday, the same day that Heigl’s People magazine cover was released. Is it all a coincidence that the crew at Seattle Grace have baby fever, or are they really that competitive? Judging from the real-life drama on that set, we wouldn’t put it past them.[Photo: GettyImages]
