Are Steve-O And George Clooney Ex Elisabetta Canalis Really Dating?

Well, this is … unexpected. According to TMZ, George Clooney‘s ex Elisabetta Canalis and Jackass star Steve-O were spotted visiting the Trust Hair Salon in West Hollywood this weekend; rumor has it the two have reportedly been hanging out for the past month or so. We know what you’re thinking: “Just because they have the same stylist doesn’t mean they’re canoodling, you guys. Maybe they just have the same kind of problem scalp!” Let’s not be naive, shall we? On an unrelated note, could someone check and see if Sarah Larson is currently dating Wee Man? We just got a powerful premonition the answer is yes.

In case you had forgotten, Elisabetta was last seen rebounding with Necessary Roughness hottie Mehcad Brooks this fall, after splitting with Clooney over the summer. Steve-O was last seen drinking Preston Lacy‘s exercise sweat in Jackass 3D. We guess Canalis really doesn’t have a type, unless it’s just generally “funny men who get paid to do the thing they love.” That must be it, because there is no way Clooney has been voluntarily hit in the junk nearly as many times as her new man. Meanwhile, George sits up at night watching Stacy Keibler sleep, all the while just…wondering.

A dinner date is one thing, but hanging out much after is another ball game altogether. Mehcad Brooks and Elisabetta Canalis are still at it. We thought that the meal they were caught sharing together was just a rebound for her, but things have clearly progressed since then. They’re pictured above leaving Pergamon Museum in Berlin. Which begs the question: They’re in Berlin together? The couple that vacations together … is a couple! It makes sense. Ex George Clooney has moved on with Stacy Keibler. Why shouldn’t Elisabetta? Rugrats Star Warns Stacey Kiebler About Romance With George Clooney

Despite his heartbreaker reputation, getting romantically involved with George Clooney is a risk most women would be more than willing to take. But Georges’s ex Elizabeth Daily is warning his new belle Stacy Kiebler against wanting anything longterm. “I wouldn’t have any expectation of anything serious,” she told Star Magazine. “Girls think they can tame him, but it will never happen. They’re wasting their time.” Case in point, Elisabetta Canalis, who he dumped in June allegedly when she wouldn’t drop the marriage topic. Daily dated Clooney back in 1993, after his divorce with first (and only) wife Talia Balsam. At the time Daily was just beginning her work as the voice of Tommy Pickles on the Nickelodeon classic, Rugrats.

But sadly the love between man and cartoon was not to be. “Even then he was adamant that he wouldn’t get married again,” she admits. So let us get this straight: George Clooney broke Tommy Pickles’ heart!? This definitely puts him at the top of our VH1 Top 40 S–t List. Don’t feel too bad for old Liz, though. She currently has two daughters with Rick Salomon of Paris Hilton sex-tape fame. Tommy Pickles and…Rick Salomon? Excuse us while our mind explodes into an old-school Nickelodeon logo splat.

Elisabetta Canalis Opens Up About George Clooney Split

Now that George Clooney and Stacey Keibler are reportedly dating, Clooney’s most recent ex Elisabetta Canalis is taking it upon herself to brush the sadness Cheetos off her loneliness Snuggie and talk to the press about him. “I have always seen cold and controlled men as the right ones for me,” Canalis allegedly told Italian magazine Chi. “You have to accept that Prince Charming who is coming to save you is not going to happen — it works against you.” Plus, to know that from here on out, you’ll always be in some way dating down? It can’t be a pretty prospect.

Despite having split from George pack in June and picked up a spot on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars, Canalis still sounds epically bummed about their break-up. ”At the end of the day I have always seen the end of my relationships as a personal failure. There is nothing ever pretty is saying goodbye,” she says, explaining “I’m a bit of a tomboy, but when it comes to love I am a doormat. I’m looking for men who can give me security.” Truly, how can Elisabetta bear to even look at a man without a yacht now? But seriously, tell us how!

Elisabetta Canalis “Down In The Dumps” Over Clooney, Says Her Mom

What would be worse then suddenly losing the love of your life plus your free ticket on any super yacht in the Northern Hemisphere? How about having all that happen, then having both of your parents talk to Vanity Fair about it? Elisabetta Canalis break-up from George Clooney came two years after they started dating, and according to Elisabetta Canalis’ mom Bruna, her bambina “is very down in the dumps” about the split. As Mama Canalis tells Italian Vanity Fair. “I’ve spoken to her, and she is very sad, but these things happen.” Sometimes George Clooney dumps you, sometimes your mother tells the planet how you’re moping around your room in a filthy old bathrobe. These things happen.

Of course, it wouldn’t be that sad unless Elisabetta’s father Cesare Canalis also shared his thoughts on his adult daughter’s break-up, so of course he did. “He certainly would have made a good son-in-law,” Cesare said of Clooney. “But it’s my daughter who has to decide.” Padre Canalis’ comments suggest that George Clooney’s marriage phobia could have played a part in their split. The other factor? Having potential in-laws that share the intimate details of your personal life with Italian Vanity Fair.

Did George Clooney’s Marriage-Phobia End Things With Elisabetta Canalis?

While George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis haven’t spoken about their sudden split yet, gossipmongers aren’t afraid to connect the dots. And the picture everyone’s drawing that confirmed bachelor Clooney probably didn’t like what Canalis’ ambitions to marry—someday. “I could never be with someone who every time he opens his mouth says he doesn’t want a child with me or to marry me,” she told an Italian magazine earlier this month, adding. “Who knows what will happen? I am a firm believer in marriage, in the future I will be married, but for the time being I am happy as I am.” Canalis dismissed any idea that Clooney would be anxious, saying “My boyfriend has not given an interview on his private life since 1999—everything that you read is just a rehash of stuff that has been written in the past,” but he actually confirmed his anti-marriage status to Piers Morgan last January (“I was married, so I gave it a shot”). Elisabetta must not have been watching.

As for the timing of the reveal, a source tells E! we should have seen this coming—since Clooney always drops his marriage-hungry lovers right before his annual friends-and-family trip to Lake Como in Italy. “He’s been trying to figure out how to get out of this for a while. Remember that ding-dong Sarah Larson George was dating? Same thing happened. Right before Como, they broke up. I’m telling you, it’s the same thing here.” The new “ding-dong” doesn’t seem to be too upset though, as Canalis and Dwyane Wade were reportedly “extra flirty” the DSquared2 show in Milan Tuesday. Clooney’s friends may claim the language barrier was an issue for him and the Italian model (“She was always shy…unsure of herself”), but an NBA star might be willing to ignore it…at least long enough for her to rebound.
