Stars Of The Old And New Footloose Faceoff!

Crank that rock ‘n’ roll because Footloose is back for more! We all remember Kevin Bacon’s breakout role as the dude who just wants to dance in a town full of people with two left feet, right? Well now, twenty-seven years after the original, it’s almost time to cut loose once again with a hot new remake featuring Kenny Wormald and Julianne Hough. It’s fresh, it’s fun and it hits theaters this Friday! How does the new version compare to the classic we know and love? Will rock still prevail? Will kids be dancing in the streets? And will we be dancing in the theater aisles? We hope so. Check out the gallery below to see who’s reviving your Footloose favorites. Plus you can peep the trailer under the jump and to get even more pumped for Friday!

Cops Force Drunk Dennis Quaid To Take Cab

dennis & kimberly quaid

Dennis Quaid was visited by a guardian angel in blue after partying too hard at Phillipe Chow last night in LA. Stepping into his car with wife Kimberly, a cop pulled alongside to cryptically warn “Dennis, don’t make things worse than they already are.” Quaid announced he was only parking the car (uh huh) and bolted back into the restaurant, where the pair promptly contacted a cab. Institutional sexism at work, folks: this never happens to a Hills star.

Dennis Quaid Wants Meg Ryan To Shut Her Puffed Up Mouth

Meg Ryan told In Style magazine that her affair with Russell Crowe only happened because her then-husband Dennis Quaid spent most of their marriage boinking other chicks. Obviously, Dennis is not down with this revelation. The re-married actor and father of newborn twins told the NY Daily News:

“It was eight years ago, and I find it unbelievable that Meg continues publicly to rehash and rewrite the story of our relationship. Also, I find it regrettable that our son, Jack, has to be reminded in a public way of the turmoil and pain that every child feels in a divorce.”

Oh, snaps! Dennis added gleefully, “I, myself, moved on years ago and am fortunate to have a happy, beautiful family.” Meg replied with, “I have also moved on, with a new happy, beautiful face.” Okay, not really. Even she knows her new face isn’t beautiful. [NYDN. Photo: WireImage]
