Debra Messing And Husband Messing Announce Split

Red wine and microwave popcorn, stat! According to Us Weekly, Debra Messing and her husband of a decade Daniel Zelman are officially donezo. “Debra Messing and Daniel Zelman privately separated earlier this year after a 10 year marriage,” the Smash actress’s rep confirmed. As if we needed another sign confirming what we know will happen if we opted not to live with our neurotic gay lawyer best friend. We get it, universe!

Said Messing’s spokesperson, “The decision was mutual, and they remain supportive of one another and committed to raising their son as a family.” The two are parents to seven-year-old Roman and, according to one source, are allegedly continuing to live under one roof. “They have been separated the better part of the year but continue to live together in New York for Roman. It’s very amicable,” the source claims. Hmmm, two exes living under one roof? Throw in a fabulous student nurse with an unhealthy Kevin Bacon obsession and a boozy bisexual socialite and you have yourself NBC’s new #1 series!

Women In Film Love Their Little Black Dresses

At the Women In Film Crystal + Lucy Awards last night, some of the most fashion forward actresses around toned down their looks and stuck with the basic little black dress. Seriously, it was like there was a Hollywood phone chain and they all called each other in advance to make a fashion plan.

“This is Courteney on the horn, who’s this? Debra Messing? You old so and so, we haven’t talked since we were both on Must See TV back in the day! What’s that? All black outfits? Really? Did Hudgens agree to this too? Okay, I’m in. Latah!” Courteney Cox and Zoe Saldana were honorees at the award ceremony which was hosted by Messing.

The army of black was interrupted by a few brave souls who brought some color to the party (we’re loving Busy Phillips‘ gold number) but overall the looks were subtle and simple. Maybe they’re waiting to pull out the big guns and get creative at the MTV Movie Awards this Sunday.

Emmys Red Carpet: White-Hot Gowns And Old School Glamour

The gowns that graced the red carpet at last night’s 61st Annual Emmy Awards were somewhat forgettable, but still certainly drool-inducing. Highlights of the night included Mad Men housewife January Jones‘ Versace art deco gown and House doctor Olivia Wilde‘s scantily laced frock. The biggest female comedians in the biz Tina Fey and Amy Poehler bored with basic black, while fellow funny lady Sarah Silverman looked frightening in a blue Marie Antoinette-era gown. On a sexier note, curve-lover Kim Kardashian channeled J-Lo in a single-sleeved hip-hugging dress.

Heidi Klum And Seal’s Redneck Wedding

Heidi Klum and Seal looked to an unexpected source for the theme of their annual wedding renewal vows this weekend. The so-in-love-it’s-sickening couple got dressed up as “white trash” for the party in Malibu, with Heidi rocking some delightful cornrows and Seal sporting a mullet complete with frosted highlights. Guests like Debra Messing wore matching pink bandanas, and earlier in the day, pregnant Heidi (who’s expecting another girl) was spotted flashing her belly for photogs wearing short shorts.

It’s all too cute and post-modern for words but the last time we saw celebrity wedding photos like this, it was back in 2004. Yep, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s legendary nuptials with the cheeseburgers at the reception, the Pimps and Maids matching tracksuits and Brit’s skimpy lace wedding dress. Good times!
