robert-pattinson-hope-for-haiti

When news broke that George Clooney’s Hope for Haiti Now telethon would airing Friday at 8PM EST on VH1, MTV and just about every channel on your television set, scant details were available as to which celebs would be involved in the show. But that didn’t stop us from starting our Official Hope For Haiti Now Telethon Lineup guessing game. We’re happy to report that our initial list is shaping up to be remarkably accurate (Anderson Cooper’s involvement doesn’t count because he’s a newsman who sometimes acts like a celebrity, not an actual celebrity).

Performing at the Hope for Haiti Now telethon: Bono, Jay-Z, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Sting, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Shakira and many others who have yet to be announced. There will also be no shortage of A-listers either speaking or manning the phones to take donations, according to E! Online. So if you’ve ever wanted to ring Jennifer Aniston or Jon Hamm late one lonely Friday night, this may be your one and only shot. Also participating are Jake Gyllenhaal, Brad Pitt, Colin Farrell, Zac Efron, Bradley Cooper, Renee Zellweger, Anna Kendrick, Sandra Bullock, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Gabby Sidibe, Chris Pine and Emily Blunt.

Sure, the women looked gorgeous in their Golden Globes gowns, but it was the guys who stole our hearts. After all, nothing says sexy like a rain-soaked tuxedo and a thick head of slicked-back hair. And they showed their manners too - did you see how many of the fellas politely held umbrellas for their lovely ladies on the red carpet? Now that’s sexy.  [Photos: GettyImages]

Colin Farrell has reportedly become a dad for the second time. Although we only recently discovered his girlfriend Alicja Bachleda-Curus was expecting a baby, reports in her homeland of Poland claim the couple had a son last week. In an interview, her brother said, “I am delighted my little sister has given birth. I hope that before the end of the year, I can fly out to see my new nephew.”

There’s no confirmation from Colin’s rep yet, but we’ll offer a tentative congratulations to Daddy Farrell! [Photo: WENN]

There are babies on the way for bad boys Johnny Knoxville and Colin Farrell, according to new reports. Sexy Johnny - we can’t get enough of those flared nostrils, it’s true - is expecting a baby with new girlfriend Naomi Nelson, who he’s been dating for a year. Johnny is divorced from his wife Melanie, with whom he has a 13-year-old daughter Madison, although he was linked to stars like Kate Moss and Jessica Simpson during their marriage.

It’s also rumored that Irish star Colin Farrell is expecting his second child too, after photos showed his girlfriend Alicja Bachleda with a small bump at LAX airport.  Colin is already dad to son James, 5 ½, who has Angelman syndrome, with ex-love Kim Bordenave although there’s no word of confirmation from his reps yet about the latest baby report. Late actor Heath Ledger took a final bow at the Cannes Film Festival, when, at the end of the weekend screening of his final film, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, a dedication read “A film from Heath Ledger and friends.”

Director Terry Gilliam said that Heath practically co-directed the film. “Heath was just brilliant at it. He got everybody else going. Everybody was just energized by Heath,” he said. “He was extraordinary. He was almost exhausting because he had so much energy.”

After Heath’s sudden death in January 2008, Jude Law, Colin Farrell, and Johnny Depp stepped up to finish the role left by the Australian actor. [Photo: Getty Images]

Films Making Buzz At Cannes

Cannes Film Festival is an opportunity for industry insiders (and a few lucky hangers-on) to preview some of the year’s most anticipated films. The screenings of 2009 include Heath Ledger’s final onscreen appearance, a Quentin Tarantino nazi flick, and a visually stunning Pixar comedy.

Here are the films the South of France is buzzing about, some of which will battle it out for The Palm D’Or.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

Director Terry Gilliam’s tale of a traveling theater troupe has received much unpredicted build-up, due to the passing of Heath Ledger during production. Three A-list actors stepped in to fill his role: Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell. We’ll see it just to figure out how that plays out.

Inglourious Basterds

Cannes sweetheart Quentin Tarantino returns with a violent (surprising?) film set in WWII. Brad Pitt leads a group of American “basterds,” whose mission is to intimidate the Third Reich.

Heath Ledger’s Last Film To Debut At Cannes

Heath Ledger’s last film, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, will make its world debut at the Cannes Film Festival on May 22nd.

Heath was in the middle of filming the story of the traveling carnival when he suddenly died in January of last year. Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell volunteered to finish Heath’s role, and each gave their salaries to Heath’s daughter Matilda.

The fantasy film is about a traveling show where members of the audience must choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom.

This year Heath won an Oscar posthumously for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight, which his family accepted on his behalf and dedicated to Matilda. [Source: Hollywood Reporter; Photo: Getty Images]

Colin Farrell: I Was High On Sex Tape

Man, we’ve missed Colin Farrell! A few years ago, you couldn’t move for stories of the priapic Irish star bedding, or “comforting” every A-list star going. Those were good days. Then he went to rehab and got boring. But Col’s proved he hasn’t lost his brilliant candid style, and spoke out about the famous sex tape he made with ex-girlfriend Nicole Narain back in 2003.

“I think I was high,” he told British interviewer Jonathan Ross, adding, “It seemed like a good idea at the time.”

Colin sued Nicole to stop her distributing the tape, and won the case in 2006. “At the end of the deposition the man in charge said, ‘I hope you’ve learned your lesson Mr. Farrell,’ and I said, ‘Absolutely, next time I’ll take the tape with me’.”

There could be more? Excellent! Let the speculation begin! (But good GOD Colin please rethink that hairstyle) [Source: Digital Spy, Photo: Getty Images]
