Lindsay Lohan’s Bangs, Solo Heidi Klum Kick Off Fashion Week With amFAR Gala

It was difficult for us to tear our eyes away from the wonder that is Lindsay Lohan’s new set of bangs and bizarre hairy wrists at last night’s amFAR Gala. But it was an event to kick off New York Fashion Week, so there was plenty more to see. Heidi Klum attending solo for instance, in a dazzling gold-and-black dress. Miss Universe Leila Lopes shining in red. Kellan Lutz looking like he’s modeling in a prom tuxedo catalog. Jennifer Hudson and Cindy Crawford palling around and both showing off some impressive cleavage. Terry Richardson appearing to keep his hands to himself. Rich people be boating’! Do you want to know the moral of these George Clooney and Cindy Crawford photos, as far as we can tell? If George Clooney wants to commandeer your water taxi on the way to the Venice Film Festival, you let him commandeer your water taxi on the way to the Venice Film Festival. Arriving at the premiere of his upcoming film The Ides of March, Clooney was joined by Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber while he jokingly took over the wheel. Nothing like a group of fabulously beautiful people, wearing formal wear, driving a boat at sunset through Venice to almost make us want to change out of our sauce-stained sweatpants. Almost.

Celebrity Baby Bump Flaunters: From The Prudish To The Shameless

When we saw pregnant Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak posing for the cover of In Touch Weekly wearing what looked to be a hand-me down bra and a weird pair of sheer panties last week, we immediate thought to ourselves, “That woman has no shame!” After the shock wore off, we began thinking: A) What other celebrities have flaunted their baby bumps on the cover of national magazines and B) Was their pursuit of fame more naked than their actual bodies?

Well, as we discovered during an intense round of research, there are two types of celebrities who use their unborn children to score themselves more publicity: the Prudes and the Shameless. Not every pregnant celebrity wants to pull a Demi Moore, you see. Some, like Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Celine Dion, don’t want to offend their base by showing too much skin. Others, like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, clearly see Moore’s famous Vanity Fair cover as a necessary (and fun!) step in advancing one’s career and deem it necessary to push cultural boundaries. Celebrities aren’t like the rest of us, clearly. The don’t have to be stuck, teeth chattering, in blizzards. When the weather gets rough, they get going to warmer, more decadent destinations. To make ourselves feel better, we assume there must be a trade off for being so gorgeous and successful, and that these A-listers must be spectacularly stupid. Our wounded egos desperately try to console us by saying, “Yeah well, they may be better looking, more popular, and have more money than you, but….at least you probably did better on your SATs! And you got that junior year calculus grade up to a C+, so Matt Damon can suck it!”

Cindy Crawford Is 43 And Hotter Than You

Cindy Crawford is on the cover of UK Harper’s Bazaar looking stunning, amazing, fierce, hot, unreal…we could go on and on. We grew up when the supermodel was on top of her game and then replaced by Kate Moss and her clique of waifs, so it’s nice to see the mom of two getting some cover-love. Cindy tells the mag, “I think I’m holding it together pretty good,” to which we say, A-DOY! She even looks better than she did back in the day – confident, comfortable, and 100% woman.

George Clooney Brings Girlfriend, Mother To Premiere

George Clooney, Elisabetta Canalis and Nina Warren Clooney

George Clooney would appreciate it if you’d take his romance with Elisabetta Canalis seriously. Sure, he’s been enjoying on-and-off affairs with countless beautiful ladies following his 1993 divorce, once claiming he’d never marry again. But the Italian model must mean more than most to the superstar, or he wouldn’t be posing at Up In The Air‘s LA premiere with both Canalis and his mother, Nina Warren Clooney. This might be the one, guys…if he and mama hadn’t posed with then-girlfriend Lisa Snowdon at the Ocean’s Twelve premiere five years ago. Dude better hope Elisabetta doesn’t find out about that.

Also attending the fete were Clooney’s co-stars Anna Kendrick, Vera Farmiga, Jason Bateman, Danny McBride, Melanie Lynskey and Zach Galifianakis, as well as well-wishers like Cindy Crawford. Watch them shake their Oscar-baiters in the gallery below.
