Ashley Greene Says Making Out With Olivia Wilde Was “Really Fun”

She may look like she’s the envy of all women, but Ashley Greene has now officially graduated to being the envy of all men too. Ashley is a breath of fresh air on the cover of March’s Lucky magazine, as well as in the shoot inside. Make sure you catch the interview as well, because Ms. Greene talks about making out with the very beautiful Olivia Wilde, in their new film Butter. The actress is quite breezy about the love scene, revealing, “It wasn’t that awkward. It’s the same idea when you’re having to kiss a male co-star and it’s not real. Olivia is such a cool chick and very professional. So we were just messing around and cracking up in between scenes, and it ended up being really fun. And now I’m the envy of every straight male everywhere!”

The 7 Worst-Dressed At The People’s Choice Awards (Sorry!!!)

We’re as surprised at this list of the worst-dressed ladies at the People’s Choice Awards as you are. A lot of our favorites are in there, so don’t bother throwing stones at us, because we’ve beaten ourselves up plenty already. But in the interest of fairness, we’ll just chalk their fashion missteps down as a bad day at the stylists. Each of these women are lovely, but bad decisions can happen to anyone right?

Leading the way, sadly, is Vanessa Hudgens. She does her hippie-meets-goth thing usually, but this Jenny Packham gown combined the worst of both styles. We don’t like the way it’s constructed and the two layers — the black gown and the gold spiderweb — are looking slopply. The Casadei heel look too clunky, as well. Still, top points for her luminous smile! Next up is Jennifer Morrison, whose severe, huge bun and slash of too-dark lipstick veers into matron territory. That Oscar de la Renta dress is vaguely reminiscent of a lampshade. We feel it would’ve looked a lot better if she had done something different with her hair and make-up — perhaps gone softer. Her buddy Ginnifer Goodwin is also on the list. We love the color of her Roksanda Ilinicic dress, but those sleeves looks like they’re going to eat her alive, just like those Jimmy Choo’s look like they’re eating her feet. It’s too much dress for such a tiny body. Another disappointment was Lucy Hale, who is so pretty, but her black Cengiz Abazoğlu number has a split personality. It feels like she couldn’t decide whether she wanted to wear a maxi or a mini, so ended up going with both. (more…)

Ashley Greene Looks Stunning In The New DKNY Campaign

Even though we got a sneak peak of Ashley Greene‘s campaign for DKNY last month, that black-and-white glimpse of her has nothing on the rest of the shoot. Don’t get us wrong. We absolutely loved that image of her in flared jeans, but take a look at these newly released stills. This is for DKNY Spring 2012 and was shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin on top of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York. Ashley’s looking better than we’ve ever seen her. How did we come up with this list of 30 best dressed stars for 2011? Many hours of poring through pictures of premieres, award shows, concerts, events … you name it, we saw it. We also think it’s a pretty diverse list covering our favorites and yours. Will you vote for bombshells like Jennifer Lopez or Sofia Vergara, whose Modern Family co-star, Sarah Hyland, has also made it onto the polls. Or for gamine pixies like Zooey Deschanel, Michelle Williams and Carey Mulligan? If you prefer the ingenues, then Chloe Moretz, Hailee Steinfeld and Jennifer Lawrence are on the list as well. The best clotheshorses in H’town are included and they’re the type who look perfectly at home (translation: drop dead gorgeous) in designer wear. We’re talking about women like Anne Hathaway, Zoe Saldana, Olivia Wilde, Amber Heard, Mila Kunis and Blake Lively. The latter’s new boyfriend’s ex, Scarlett Johansson is up for the win, making this an interesting face-off!

You should have a heads up that there are a couple of duos in there, and we’re sorry in advance for making you choose between them. We have the two Emmas — Emma Watson and Emma Stone. There are the Twilight hotties — Kristen Stewart and Ashley Greene. The television cuties — Lea Michele and Nina Dobrev. The yummy mummies (one is currently pregnant and one gave birth earlier this year) — Beyonce and Jessica Alba. And of course, the sunshine blondes — Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon. We know, it’s really hard! What’s even harder is choosing between the trio of besties — Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift. And finally, rounding up the list, standing tall and very royal is the newly minted Duchess, who hasn’t made a sartorial step wrong all year, Kate Middleton.

So, there you have it. A very fashionable 30. What we need you to do, now, is click after the jump and check out our massive gallery and vote in the poll we’ve got below it. We’ve even got 3-in-1 pictures so you have more outfits to look at! Vote, vote, vote! (more…)

Our 25 Favorite Vampires Of 2011

We’re not shy about our vampire obsession around here. And even as angels and werewolves and dystopian battlefields take over the screens and bookshelves, it doesn’t look like sexy bloodsuckers are going anywhere. Sure, they experience a bit of boom and bust, but a look back at the last 100 years in pop culture proves their undying staying power. In 2011, our blood was stirred by a nice crop of undead seducers, from Eric and Bill on True Blood to Damon and Stefan on The Vampire Diaries to the entire morally upstanding Cullen family. There were others who leapt from the pages of books whose racy covers we sometimes had to keep hidden — Bloodlines, the spinoff of YA series Vampire Academy, made its debut; Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series is still going strong, and in City of Fallen Angels, the latest from Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments series, vampire Simon went from best friend to hot commodity. There were even a couple of “nonfiction” vamps who made it onto our 2011 list.

Before you check out our 25 faves, watch who such celebrity vampire experts as True Blood’s Joe Manganiello and Twilight’s Elizabeth Reaser, and non-experts like Andrew W.K., Robin Thicke and Questlove would nominate for Vampire of the Year. Because we just declared that a thing.

Now, take a look at our top 25, vote on your faves and let us know in the comments if we missed any of your favorites.

Thanksgiving Diet: Feast On These Hot Celebs

Relax, we’re not actually going to give you diet tips on this, the most holy of holidays for food lovers. We’re merely suggesting that if you’re anything like us, it’s hard to remember that there will be consequences if we ask for second helpings of mashed potatoes and pie. We slip into a food coma and wake up just long enough to eat the leftovers. So we thought we’d provide this little visual inspiration: 24 hot celebrities — from Britney Spears to Henry Cavill, Pippa Middleton to Hugh Jackman, Adriana Lima to Jennifer Lopez — who have bodies we’d basically kill to have, and who work hard to get them. Maybe seeing them jog, lift weights and strut their assets will inspire you to get off the couch. Or you might just want to sit back and enjoy the view while munching on a turkey leg. That’s the kind of freedom those pilgrims came here to attain, isn’t it?

Which Twilight Premiere Was Best Dressed? Nikki Reed Weighs In

Wow, guys, Breaking Dawn Part 1 premiere week is almost done. We’re trying very hard to ignore the fact that there’s only one movie left (sniffX1000), and instead focusing on the positive here. Looking back at the red-carpet premieres of the last four Twilight movies is like browsing through the photo album of a trio of sisters (obvs, we’re talking Kristen Stewart, Ashley Greene and Nikki Reed): See how styles and their tastes changed as they grew up before our eyes? Aww. We asked Nikki if she could pick a favorite gown from all of her Twilight premieres, and she was quick to reply.

“I’m going to go with this year’s [gown] because I chose it because it was green, and green is my mom’s favorite color,” she said. “I know it seems sort of silly and sappy, but the truth is it’s the only dress I tried on. I saw it, Marchesa’s great, and I was like, ‘Mom, we’re going with green, for you.’ ”

Take a minute to look back at all three actress’ red-carpet getups, and then tell us which year you think they were most fashionable.

Fashion Watch: Vote For Your Favorite Breaking Dawn Body

By now, we’ve become cross-eyed staring at all the Breaking Dawn fabulousness that’s been pouring over our computer screens from last night’s black-carpet premiere. This time, the selection of best picks we’ve brought to you, were chosen for one particular reason. Each fabulous gown highlighted, to perfection, a particular body part of the wearer. And no, we’re not going to the gnarly vampire side. Kristin Stewart‘s J Mendel gown showed off her perfect legs (or leg). Ashley Greene‘s custom made Donna Karen drew attention to those amazingly toned arms. Christian Serratos‘ sexy hot-pink Alexander McQueen revealed her beautifully tanned shoulders and Elizabeth Reaser‘s maroon sequined gown put the yummy in the Mummy Cullen. Hello, cleavage! If you have a sternum like that, plunging gowns are your best friend.

So now that we’ve broken it down to body parts — because we’re getting into the spirit of things — we’re curious to know who your favorite is. Vote, vote, vote!

Breaking Dawn Black Carpet: Best Of The Sparkly Vampires And Humans

The scene at The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 black-carpet premiere on Monday night was a motley mass of press, fans, totally random celebrities (and Kardashians) and, of course, the stars and crew that created this little thing we call Twilight. As has come to be expected of the franchise, even the castmembers with the smallest parts put on their fanciest getups and were treated like A-listers by the fans. Casey LaBow was, well, daring in a yellow and gold mini-dress with gray feather details. Ashley Stewart’s amazing makeup made up for the fact that her dress distractingly reminded us of a candy cane. Christian Serratos‘ sleeveless, flowing hot-pink gown and Elizabeth Reaser‘s maroon sequined, long-sleeved number nearly stole the show. That is, until the real star of the evening showed up. Then we couldn’t tear our eyes away from Kristen Stewart‘s sparkly black-and-blue J. Mendel gown with the slit up to there. And when she kicked off her heels and put on those trademark sneaks, we knew our girl had arrived. Check out our picks for the best dressed vamps and humans at the big event, and stay tuned later for tons more Breaking Dawn coverage.

Ashley Greene On Style And Personal Evolution: “I’m Figuring All That Out”

Ashley Greene was my last interview of the day during the Breaking Dawn press junket, and I entered her hotel suite at the Four Seasons at 5 p.m. expecting to find her as tired as I was — if not more. She had just come off the European press tour for the film and was now knee-deep in promotion stateside, a whirlwind of interviews and appearances. But the actress, who was recently named the new face of DKNY, was chipper and chatty, dressed in a silky red tank, jeans and sky-high patent-leather beige heels. When I told her I wanted to geek out about fashion with her for the entire interview but was gonna try not to, she joked, “But for a portion, at least!” Sounded good to me!

TheFABlife: What’s helped you grow your style and fashion sense over the years?
Ashley Greene: I think it’s a lot of experiences. With Twilight, there’s been a lot of red carpets, fan events, press and talk shows. I work with a stylist named Christina Ehrlich and she’s been so incredible. She’s very collaborative and never tries to force anything on me.

TFL: Have you learned from past fashion missteps?
AG: I think one of the first mistakes you can make is wearing something because someone told you to wear it. And I’ve done it! We’ve all done it. [Ed. note: Yep, we have!]
