What To Expect When You’re Expecting To Eat Until You Need Bigger Pants

What To Expect When You’re Expecting hyped its leading ladies and their respective prosthetic bellies today in a new series of character posters. We were just wondering why it isn’t acceptable to clutch your abdomen in public (sometimes you just need a clutch!) when it struck us: All these actresses with bulging bellies, including the lovely Anna Kendrick and Elizabeth Banks, look a lot like us … after a gigantic, delicious meal. One that featured chili, perhaps? A hearty stew? A platter of assorted fudge?

Either way, everyone enjoys having something in their bellies, whether it’s a tiny human or a personal pan pizza. The movie is coming out May 11, so they’ve probably settled on a final script, but we couldn’t help but fantasize about what our poster taglines would say if we could fiddle with the film’s premise. And if we were really, really, really hungry:

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Is Handsomeness On A Stick At 50/50 Premiere

Damn, Joseph Gordon-Levitt. We knew you back when you were just the kid from Angels In The Outfield, and we weren’t impressed with you or your doubled-barreled last name. Then you morphed into that awkward teen on Third Rock From The Sun, and we laughed at your pony tail. More recently you shifted into geeky girl-getter in 500 Days Of Summer, and we hated you for reminding us of every failed romance we’ve ever had. But now at New York’s 50/50 premiere last night, you’ve somehow entered into the Don Draper Den of Ridiculously Handsome Dudes. We never saw it coming. Well done, sir. Although co-stars Seth Rogen and Anna Kendrick didn’t look too bad themselves. Check out more in the gallery below!

The Vanity Fair Tribeca Film Festival Party Brings Out Every Category Of Stars

When Vanity Fair throws a party, everybody comes. So it was no surprise that when they threw a party at the Tribeca Film Festival, celebrities, old and new, and of every profession turned up. Young Hollywood was ably repp’d by Anna Kendrick and Abigail Breslin. Hollywood royalty, on the other hand, included the likes of Robert de Niro, Harvey Keitel, Christopher Walken and director, Ron Howard.

There were designers (Calvin Klein and Diane von Furstenberg), rappers (Pharrell) and supermodels (Helena Christensen) that went as far back as Lauren Hutton, even! From the miscellaneous lot, Jerry Seinfeld, Zach Braff, Martha Stewart, Ed Burns, and Emily Mortimer showed up. Take a look at our gallery to watch the motley crew arriving at the do.

Anna Kendrick Slipping, Olsen Twins Sloppy At Tribeca Film Festival

Up In The Air‘s Anna Kendrick found a less than subtle way to say “remember me?” at last night’s Tribeca Film Festival opening, walking the red carpet in a dress that appeared to be falling off her body without ever quite hitting the floor. Not quite as, well, inviting were Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen. While Ashley’s trenchcoat and droopy dress matched the pair’s usual “style,” Mary-Kate’s orange pants and crimson coat took things to…you know, we’re at a loss to come up with a coherent metaphor to describe this outfit. Goth Woody Woodpecker? Beast-Man glam? If you’ve got any ideas, go wild in the comments box.

See more photos of Anna, the Olsens and other stars at the TFF’s opening night in the gallery below—and dig on Elton John‘s sharp shoes!

GQ Men Of The Year Are Way More Fashion-Forward Than We Can Comprehend

gq_main

If this were any other event, we would just assume that Johnny Knoxville, Kid Rock and Michael Kenneth Williams made poor fashion choices and then proceed to mock them mercilessly. But they were invited to the GQ Men of the Year Gala last night at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. And we were not. So we have to assume that they are just operating on a level that we mere fashion mortals cannot comprehend.

You may think these suits are sort of hideous, but in five years you’ll have one in every color! Way to stay ahead of the curve, guys. Thankfully some other ladies and gents were a little less fashion forward. Twi-Bros Kellan Lutz and Taylor Lautner donned dapper suits, Glee peeps Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale and Cory Monteith ditched their school attire, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino even kept his shirt on. Check out the hits and misses in the gallery below!

Style Wars: Lily Allen Vs. Zoe Saldana At The Glamour Awards

Sometimes people just look better in black. Two of our favorite looks at Glamour‘s Women Of The Year Awards in London (which mostly consisted of British models for Nick Jonas to gawk at) came from Lily Allen, rocking massive sheer sleeves with a long black dress, and Zoe Saldana, who wore a short black mini with an embroidered lace top. Check out the gallery below (featuring Anna Kendrick, Nicole Richie and Kelly Rowland) and let us know who worked it better in our TheFABLife poll.

10 Best Dressed Celebs At The MTV Movie Awards

60662071

People are known to take fashion risks at the MTV Movie Awards because unlike other award shows, anything goes. That means you’re just as likely to see glamourous gowns as you are assless chaps (or an assless tiger-print leotard if you’re Ken Jeong). Still, there are some celebrities who know how to combine their version of cool with some serious style, and unfortunately, Ken didn’t make our cut. But Sandra Bullock, Scarlett Johansson and Kristen Stewart did. Check out their dresses and some other winning styles in our Best-Dressed Gallery below. [Photos: Getty Images]

Hot Messes Rule Us “Hot Hollywood” Party

Ciara, Kelly Osbourne & Jennifer Lopez

Us Magazine scored an impressive number of celebrities for their Hot Hollywood party in LA last night—too bad they took “hot” to mean “gaudy and loud.” While Ciara‘s skimpy canary yellow mini-dress looked like a popcorn bag, at least she didn’t go meta like Kelly Osbourne, with her little black dress reading “LITTLE BLACK DRESS” on the back. But despite those flops and other questionable choices like Anna Kendrick‘s sea-blue shirt and skirt and Sheryl Crow‘s sundress (no one’s a hippie at an Us party, Sheryl), we’d have to crown Jennifer Lopez the hottest mess at Hot Hollywood for yet again busting out the J-Lo Face. To be honest, we’re a little tired of Marc Anthony, too. Shouldn’t the mobster be bigger than his moll? Check out these stars and more in the gallery and make your own zings.

Hilary Swank Vs. Christina Hendricks: Oscar After Party Hotties

Thanks to dramatic displays of decolletage, Christina Hendricks and Hilary Swank made big impressions at the Elton John AIDS Foundation and Vanity Fair after parties, respectively. Both bashes were booming with celebs, with some surprise revelers—folks like Heidi Klum, Apolo Ohno and The Jonas Brothers—hopping between the two. See shots from the shindigs below and let us know which woman looked more striking in our TheFABLife poll.

2010 Oscars Viewing Party: The Hurt Locker Wins Big

The horse race between Avatar and The Hurt Locker ended tonight, with The Hurt Locker coming out on top. Katherine Bigelow beat out her ex-husband James Cameron to become the first female to ever win an Academy Award for Best Director. Other top prizes went to Jeff Bridges for Best Actor (Crazy Heart) and Sandra Bullock for Best Actress (The Blind Side). Relive the 2010 Oscars blow by blow by entering our viewing party below.
