Did I Do That? From Sitcom Kids To Grown-Up Stars

Why can’t the world let Jaleel White be great? The man formerly known as Urkel complained to People today that he feels limited by his sitcom past. “I’m very versatile, but somehow I didn’t earn the tag of being called a versatile actor,” the former Family Matters star says. “I’m still chasing that one Vanity Fair tag that says, ‘This guy’s a versatile actor.’ I accept it. It’s fine. But for me, it’s like what do I have to do to get that [acknowledgment]?”

Luckily for White, those different and exciting roles could still be just around the corner! Your career doesn’t have to end when those highwaters get too tight to wear! Check out our gallery of sitcom kids, from Leo DiCaprio to Raven-Symone to Sarah Jessica Parker, who successfully made the transition from adorable youngsters to adult film and television stars. And hey…don’t lose the faith, Jaleel.

Alyssa Milano Welcomes Baby Milo

Wait a minute, Alyssa Milano’s baby friend just arrived this morning? We swear this woman had a medium-to-large baby bump back in February at the Hall Pass premiere! That kid must have come out with a full set of teeth and a mastery of the alphabet up to Q, not that we would expect anything less from an Alyssa Milano offspring.

People reports that Milano and husband David Bugliari welcomed son Milo Thomas Bugliari this morning at 9:37am. Alyssa Milano’s pregnancy went smoothly, according to the actress, who also gushed that her husband will be “the most amazing father ever” to the “biggest newborn on the planet” (note: that second quote is ours).

Celebrities Have A Blast While Donald Trump Gets Roasted At White House Correspondent’s Dinner

There’s a reason why Donald Trump looks so glum in this picture, while John Legend and girlfriend Chrissy Teigen look like they’re having a ball. Celebrities flocked to Washington D.C on Saturday for the White House Correspondent’s Association dinner and as usual the glam factor was pretty high. But the best part of the evening was that Trump was trumped by President Barack Obama and later, by Seth Meyers, who made some pointed jokes at The Donald’s expense in response to the “birther” debate.

Obama cracked some big ones like, “I know he’s taken some flack lately, but no one is prouder to put this birth certificate issue to rest than Donald, and that’s because he can get back to the issues that matter, like, did we fake the moon landing? What really happened in Roswell? And where are Biggie and Tupac?” Meyers rubbed it in even further with jibes like, “Donald Trump often appears on Fox, which is ironic, because a fox often appears on Donald Trump’s head.” Ouch. Donald’s massive ego must’ve taken an even more massive beating!

Now you see why Trump looks dyspeptic, right? But even he can’t deny that the dinner was an amazing success. The ladies looked gorgeous in full-length gowns (except Michelle Trachtenberg who needs to take it easy on the goth lipstick). Mila Kunis, Anna Paquin, America Ferrera, Rosario Dawson and a very pregnant Alyssa Milano hit it out of the ball park. Paula Abdul looked pretty fantastic too—surprise surprise. The men repp’d it with the likes of Ian Somerhalder, Chris Colfer and Chace Crawford looking sharp in their suits. This also happens to be the night Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn made their hand-holding public. Page Six reports that Scarlett and Sean were all over each other at dinner with a source revealing, “She plopped down in his lap, and they were kissing.” We may not have pictures of their make-out sesh, but we do have plenty of the rest of the stars in all their finery. Check them out in our gallery below.

Alyssa Milano’s Pregnant Belly Steals Another Movie Premiere

Alyssa Milano‘s pregnant belly already upstaged her co-stars at the Hall Pass premiere—now she’s taking over events for movies she didn’t even star in! Stars Bradley Cooper, Robert DeNiro and Abbie Cornish were all in attendance at the premiere of their upcoming drama Limitless, but surprise guest Milano took plenty of the camera time, posing with her hands under her stomach—just in case you forgot she was expecting. Is it too late to digitally add her to the movie?

Alyssa Milano’s Baby Bump Steals The Show At Hall Pass Premiere

Alyssa Milano‘s name doesn’t even make the poster on her new movie Hall Pass, but she was the biggest star at the film’s premiere in LA night, thanks to Alyssa announcing her pregnancy only a few days before. It was her first time on the carpet since the revelation, and she was happy to show off her belly with a series of “proud and expectant” poses for the cameras. Not that we mind—much easier to talk about a baby bump than what Jason Sudeikis was wearing.

Alyssa Milano Is Pregnant, Generally Having A Great 2011

As soon as we heard that Alyssa Milano is pregnant, we knew it was just the next step in her grand plan for 2011: The Year of Alyssa Milano. Well, maybe not consciously, but we can definitely see that triumphant gleam in her eye. “They’re just over the moon. They are so excited,” a friend told People about Alyssa and her husband Dave Bugliari, who married in 2009 after dating for three years. “Yes, it’s true. And we couldn’t be happier. Thank you for your warm wishes and love!” Milano confirmed on Twitter this afternoon, before making a check on her giant chalkboard of life achievements. Well, we’re assuming.

In addition to bringing forth new life from her womb, Milano was cast in New Year’s Eve alongside Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker, and many of 4,967 A-list stars that appeared in Gary Marshall‘s Valentine’s Day last year. The couple expect their bundle to arrive this fall, which means little Alyssa will probably be able to hold his or her head up when Milano accepts her Golden Globe and/or Oscar. We’re calling it now!

We’re So Ready For Alyssa Milano’s Comeback

Alyssa Milano is due for a comeback, don’t you think? Yes, we know, it’s not like she really went anywhere since, after all, she was on Charmed for like 45 years, but we never watched Charmed, so our only exposure to her lately is Proactiv commercials and that company she runs where Alyssa makes sports clothes for women. It’s about time she got back into the mainstream, non-CW Network fray. Lucky for us, 2011 is the year that it’s all happening. Milano has just signed on to appear in the Garry Marshall film New Year’s Eve, the distant cousin to last year’s Valentine’s Day mega-ensemble feature. The giant cast also includes Katherine Heigl, who replaced Halle Berry, plus Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Abigail Breslin, Robert De Niro, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele and Sarah Jessica Parker. In the film, Milano will play a nurse tasked with caring for an elderly patient on New Year’s Eve. We bet she learns a lesson about life and love!

Milano will also appear in Hall Pass, the Owen Wilson/Jason Sudeikis movie slated for release later this year, so she’s definitely feeling the casting love these days. We’re psyched to see Samantha Micelli finally getting the audience she deserves.

Clash Of The Titans Premiere: Release The Pratt!

Alexa Davolos, Sam Worthington, Stephanie Pratt

For a movie hoping to follow Avatar and Alice In Wonderland into the impressive crop of 2010 3-D blockbusters, Clash Of The Titans couldn’t muster much support from Hollywood’s elite. We get why Lisa Rinna scored a ticket to the LA premiere—husband Harry Hamlin starred in the ’80s version—but Alyssa Milano? Stephanie Pratt? Antonio Sabato, Jr.? The Used? Whoever was in charge of the guest list might have been better off letting hot rising stars Sam Worthington and Alexa Davalos hype the movie without those red carpet revelers—judging from the ads, the film will provide more than enough mythological beasts of yore. See the parade in the gallery below.

George Clooney, MTV And VH1 Team Up For Massive Star-Studded Haiti Fundraiser

george-clooney-haiti-fundraiser
Details are trickling in as we type … But we’re hearing about a fundraiser for Haiti that is being masterminded by George Clooney. Allegedly MTV has agreed to air a bi-coastal happening on all of its channels (MTV, BET, CMT and our beloved VH1) in an attempt to provide much-needed support for the devasted victims of the earthquake.

According to Showbiz411, which broke the story today, Clooney was busy recruiting celebs at a party for Up in the Air last night — and Sting, after being approached, was overheard saying “Where do I go?” The timing for recruiting talent could not be better as nearly every A-list actor will be attending the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards on Friday and then the Golden Globes on Sunday. Expect to hear a lot about Haiti in upcoming acceptance speeches!

It’s hard to imagine this event going down without music. We can’t confirm anything at this time, but a straight talking-head telethon just isn’t how VH1 or MTV rolls. Plus, can you imagine Sting without his guitar? Exactly.

After the jump, we start the Official Haiti Fundraiser Celebrity Lineup Guessing Game, which includes Wyclef Jean, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Matt Damon, Diddy, U2, Alicia Keys, Coldplay, Shakira, John Legend, Adam Lambert, Ryan Seacrest and the Dixie Chicks. (But first, find out how you can help at the White House’s website.)
