10 Best-Dressed At The People’s Choice Awards

As expected, there was a lot of traffic on the red carpet for the People’s Choice Awards and we’re happy to report that some new faces popped up on the best-dressed radar. We welcome Ashley Benson into the fold. She wore an adorable, trumpet-skirted, white (with a black underskirt peeking out) Alice + Olivia frock that we now covet. Also wearing the same designer was a very pregnant Alyson Hannigan who wore a form-fitting, embellished sheath that showed off her bump. Her How I Met Your Mother co-star and close friend Cobie Smulders rocked it in a strapless, electric-blue Reema Acra dress. That incredible gold necklace you see on her is by Etro. Blue works like a charm for Cobie — remember her turquoise Grecian gown at the Emmys last year? Julianne Hough is also on the list and she gets the sexiest ever award in a sizzling silver chainmail Kaufman Franco dress. It clung to every curve but covered everything up in the front. But when she turned — bam — totally backless. Faith Hill — who sang at the show — looked like a beautiful, tall drink of water in a tangerine, halter-necked cocktail dress.

Now to the usual suspects. Miley Cyrus and Lea Michele both wore white but to very different effects. Miley wore a very original David Koma dress which had a sheer panel down the front — it didn’t look smutty at all — and a touch of colorful texturing at the hem. Lea wore a spectacular flapper-like Marchesa dress with a draped back. It was possibly our pick for the night, especially paired with her slash of pink lipstick. Kristen Bell chose one of our favorite designers, Valentino, and wore a lovely sheer blouse and skirt in the punchy shade of vermilion. Chloe Moretz looked fabulous in a green-and-black, edgy Proenza Schouler dress — trust her to pick the coolest designers at 14. It’s beyond us. Rounding up the list, and making us want to say “Top of the mornin’ to ya,” is Emma Stone. It’s the most unusual outfit for the awards show, but she nails it. Emma wore head-to-toe Gucci with a shamrock green tuxedo jacket, black cigarette pants and white silk shirt that had two long panels trailing out.

The Post Halloween Edition: Top 10 Celebrity Costume Round-Up

We have so much material for you that your Halloween costumes should be sorted out for the next couple of years. There are so many options to check out. Perhaps the early bird stars who played dress-up over the weekend will float your boat? Don’t see anything you like? And we’re not done yet. Since yesterday was the last day for trick-or-treating and Halloween costumes, celebrities really outdid themselves. The final few we loved were folks like Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford who cracked us up by getting their ’80s on as members of Mötley Crüe. Eden Wood from Toddlers and Tiaras was big this year with Chrissy Teigen and Fergie dressing up as her. Kelly Ripa outdid herself on Live! With Regis and Kelly along with Nick Lachey. Their first outfit sequence had Kelly dressed up as Eden as well, and Nick as Charlie Sheen. Their second has Kelly as Kim Kardashian and Nick (on stilts) as Kris Humphries on their wedding day. Ouch! The sexiest prize goes to Miranda Kerr who was the hottest ringmaster ever, and we’d like to give a round of applause to the mommies-to-be as well. Beyoncé was the cutest bumblebee in town, while Jennifer Garner was a witch.

The American Reunion Trailer: Some Things Just Get Filthier With Age

The gangs all here and they’re to their old disgusting antics in the new red-band American Reunion trailer. In case you aren’t totally sure if you should watch it at work, we’d say consider it NSFW unless your boss happens to be Stifler’s Mom. And if she is, congratulations! She is one special lady.

While there’s no sign of any pie (yet!), we do get a sneak peak at some filthy highjinks involving a tube sock and a shower head. We also get to meet an adorable toddler, who is going to need years of psychotherapy to deal with having Alyson Hannigan and Jason Biggs as his parents. So, since you’ve probably seen the original American Pie, are you planning to RSVP for the Reunion?

Alyson Hannigan’s Daughter, Satyana, Is A Cutie

How has this little cupcake not popped up on our radar more often? Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof’s little daughter Satyana Marie is a bonafide cutie. These photographs of her out and about with her Mom just made our day, especially in those pink tights and red sneakers. The duo spent the day grabbing some boba tea, shopping at Baby Gap in Santa Monica and generally, looking super adorable and happy. Who Wants To See The American Pie Reunion? Probably Not The Stars Who Went To The Original Premiere

American Pie lovers (all both of yous) will be happy to hear the news that most of the film’s stars have signed on for one more sequel called American Reunion. It’s not that we hate the movie—we actually quite enjoyed it when it came out—but any goodwill toward the film was lost with each subsequent sequel (American Pie 2, American Wedding) and spinoff (American Pie Presents Band Camp, American Pie Presents The Naked Mile, American Pie Presents Beta House, American Pie Presents The Book Of Love) that came out of the franchise. But now, there will be (at least) one last hurrah.

American Reunion has signed every major actor from the film (though Alyson Hannigan is still a maybe) to reprise the roles they played in the 1999 film, with Jason Biggs, Eugene Levy, and Seann William Scott among them. If you weren’t really paying attention back then, this movie was a phenomenon, a must-see blockbuster that was unprecedented for its raunchiness, which explains the star-studded turnout at its premiere twelve years ago. We unearthed some amazing photos from that hot summer night in 1999 of some serious A-listers at the premiere and it made us wonder: Would these people be caught dead at the premiere for American Reunion? Probably not, but check out the gallery and see for yourself.

Alyson Hannigan’s Daughter Satyana Is A Handful

It’s no surprise Buffy baby Satyana Denisof is a cutie, with parents like Alyson “Willow” Hannigan and Alexis “Wesley” Denisof. But the toddler (who turns 2 next month!) also looks like a bit of a troublemaker, ripping off her mom’s sunglasses and smacking her face with her stuffed toy as the two walked through LA on a windy Wednesday. Doesn’t look like Alyson minded the horseplay at all, though.

Alyson Hannigan Trashes Jay Leno At Comedy Forum

We knew we loved Alyson Hannigan for more than just her stint as Buffy’s trusty sidekick Willow Rosenberg. Hannigan also seems to be on Team CoCo or, more accurately, not on Team Leno. Though she tried to be discreet about it, while she spoke at a Women in Comedy forum, Hannigan made no bones about her dislike for Jay Leno‘s late night hosting style.

The forum was moderated by Jimmy Kimmel, and when Hannigan was asked what the trick is to being a good guest on a late night show she explained “Certain hosts have you do your pre-interview and then you have to go on the show and retell every story verbatim or you’re not coming back. Every show is different that way.” When asked to name names, she said “I’m not saying, but it’s not Jimmy’s. And that’s really intimidating to have it be a big deal if you, like, switch around your punchline or whatever. There are a lot of other hosts where it’s OK to tell this story or that story, and if it veers off it’s fine because the host is secure enough to go with you, and vice-versa.” Even though she didn’t name this insecure host outright, later when Kimmel was asked his thoughts on the Tonight Show host, he replied “Slam Leno? Oh, uh, I think Alyson just did.”

Sounds like even though Conan O’Brien might have moved on from his late-night feud, there’s some anti-Leno ginger solidarity in Hollywood.

Neil Patrick Harris’ New Role: Daddy

Beloved fictional bachelor Barney Stinson would weep at this news on How I Met Your Mother, and they would not be tears of joy. But for the star that plays him – the actor/magician/director of AWESOME Neil Patrick Harris, it’s legendary. Harris and his partner, David Burtka, are expecting twins via surrogate in October later this year. Obligatory new baby squeeeeeeee!

The couple, who have been together for approximately six years (which is like, a gazillion in Hollywood years) announced the news on the actor’s Twitter account. Harris happily tweeted, “So, get this: David and I are expecting twins this fall. We’re super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy…”

Looks like there are going to be even more moms and dads on the How I Met Your Mother set. Alison Hannigan had a baby girl last year in March who is exotically named Satyana Denisof. Cobie Smulders had her baby girl, Shaelyn Cado Killam, in May 2009. And now, NPH is joining the crew with a double hit. So Jason Segel and Josh Radnor need to prepare themselves for tons of diaper duty n’ baby goo talk.

We think NPH is going to make an ah-ma-zing dad. Imagine how much fun bedtime story sessions are going to be in that house? Mazel Tov to the proud papas!

Hot Messes Rule Us “Hot Hollywood” Party

Us Magazine scored an impressive number of celebrities for their Hot Hollywood party in LA last night—too bad they took “hot” to mean “gaudy and loud.” While Ciara‘s skimpy canary yellow mini-dress looked like a popcorn bag, at least she didn’t go meta like Kelly Osbourne, with her little black dress reading “LITTLE BLACK DRESS” on the back. But despite those flops and other questionable choices like Anna Kendrick‘s sea-blue shirt and skirt and Sheryl Crow‘s sundress (no one’s a hippie at an Us party, Sheryl), we’d have to crown Jennifer Lopez the hottest mess at Hot Hollywood for yet again busting out the J-Lo Face.
