Alessandra Ambrosio Pregnant Again, Evolution Wins

Very clever, Alessandra Ambrosio. You knew we’d spot that baby bump during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last month, so you donned that Carnival outfit with the jeweled belt. Because, yeah, that’s the body of a pregnant lady to the right. Well, she was probably about two months along then, but allow us a tiny moment of jealousy, OK? Now, that’s passed and we’ll move on to wish the best for the 30-year-old Brazilian model, fiance Jamie Mazur and 3-year-old big-sister-to-be Anja Louise.

“Family is the most important thing for me and I’m thrilled to be adding to the family,” Ambrosio told Us Weekly.

And the human race is thrilled that more of those spectacular genes are being added to the pool.

Supermodel Alert: The 2011 Victoria’s Secret Show Mega Gallery

There’s not much we can really say with this post because it’s all about the visuals. The 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place yesterday at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York, and all our favorite models, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima and Miranda Kerr strutted their stuff. We did miss seeing Heidi Klum, who retired as a Victoria’s Secret Angel last year. The music performances took it up a notch too — that’s if a Victoria’s Secret show can ever be taken up a notch? Jay-Z and Kanye West doubled up on stage and performed “Stronger” together. Adam Levine and Maroon 5 also performed, and Levine cozied up to model and girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna while singing “Moves Like Jagger.” You couldn’t miss Nicki Minaj either, with her frothy pink wig and day-glo clothing.

If you’re like us, then we figured you’ve hit a mid-week slump as well. How do we make you feel better, we thought to ourselves? And there it was, as clear as day. Alessandra Ambrosio looking gorgeous in teeny shorts and a bikini top at a Victoria’s Secret event in Hawaii. While her fellow Angel, Heidi Klum, was playing with pumpkins in L.A, Alessandra was busy jetting off to take care of promotional activities for the brand. Consider your Wednesday blues vanquished! Or is that amazing body, sun kissed skin and shiny hair making you feel a lot worse? Oops! Our bad!

The Full 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards Red Carpet Report

The 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards took place last night at Lincoln Center in New York City. The show saw some serious fashionista traffic, but we have to admit we expected it to be a tad more A-List. Still, can’t complain with the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio in a red-hot Prabal Gurung dress and Liv Tyler in an unusual Proenza Schouler silk printed sheath. Both ladies showed a fair amount of back! We also loved Kerry Washington‘s simple white A-Line Calvin Klein dress and Lucy Liu‘s dramatic black Monique Lhuillier gown. Miranda Kerr looked heart-stoppingly sexy in her black Michael Kors skirt and cut-out body suit. But the big winner of the night was Lady Gaga who scooped up the Fashion Icon Award, bringing her sister Natali Germanotta as her date.

Unfortunately, there were a couple of fashion fails as well. Chloe Sevigny looked like she had forgotten to do up the top of her leather ruffle eyelet blouse from her own collection. Marcia Cross wore an inexplicable Pamella Roland blue sequined halter jumpsuit and Naomi Watts looked generically pretty but very blah in her Calvin Klein gold dress. We also love us some Ashley Greene but she just wasn’t working her two-tone Michael Kors dress, like a pregnant Jessica Alba worked the same trend in DVF. Perhaps it’s because Ashley’s clunky shoes were all wrong. One look at Gerard Butler in his snug, extremely well-cut suit, and all was well again. Celebrities Spend Memorial Day In Malibu

If star spotting are your thing then you should have been in Malibu yesterday. Celebrities were dotted all over the place — with their kids and significant others — from the beach to parks, and it looked like the ideal way to celebrate Memorial Day. Katie Holmes and Suri had a whale of a time on the beach, as did Gavin Rossdale, Gwen Stefani and their two sons Kingston and Zuma. Also seen enjoying the surf with their kids were Marcia Cross and her daughters, and a preggers Tori Spelling. Spelling had rented a seaside home with her husband Dean McDermott.

Doing the whole beach party thing sans kids were a very pregnant January Jones and Barbra Streisand, who attended the same party. Cisco Adler and his wife also caught some sun. Checking out Malibu playgrounds and parks were Adam Sandler and his daughters (as seen in the picture above), as well as Alessandra Ambrosio and her daughter Anja. We hope you had a great long weekend too!

Celebrities Roll In For The Hangover Part II Screening And After-Party

They all came in droves to watch the The Hangover Part II! And by “they” we mean every type of celebrity. The supermodels showed up—Selita Ebanks and Alessandra Ambrosio. The fashion designer showed up—Calvin Klein. Even figure skater Johnny Weir turned up! The screening was held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City, with an after party at The Top of The Standard.

The cast—Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianaki —held court with director, Todd Phillips. They were probably quite pleased with the mixed bag crowd who showed up, including the likes of Zach Braff, James van der Beek, Ciara, Ivanka Trump and Russell Simmons. Stars Get Their Hipster On At Coachella

Coachella 2011 just ended and as usual, tons of stars were around – both onstage and off – at the music festival. They all wore their best hippie chic gear, as is evident with the likes of Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie and Vanessa Hudgens (who, we kid you not, wore printed bell-bottoms). Some ladies did represent vintage, like Dita von Teese who looked like a 1940′s pin-up in a sailor hat, and Katy Perry, who went quasi-flapper!

It’s no secret that we have a massive crush on Ian Somerhalder and we’ve resolutely ignored rumors of him and Nina Dobrev dating because IT ISN’T HAPPENING. So him and Nina at Coachella? Casually almost draped over each other? Hanging out with Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger? Just because those two are a couple, doesn’t mean it’s a double date! (Someone hold us while we cry.)
