Sucker Punch Stars Step Up Their Game At UK Premiere

Someone must have staged an intervention. While we’re not totally knocked out by the outfits on display at the UK premiere of Sucker Punch last night in London, the actresses certainly did a better job at coordinating than they did at the US Sucker Punch premiere. Sure, Jena Malone looks like she pulled her signed, hole-ridden outfit out of a fire, but that’s better than the late ’90s nightmare Jena unearthed last week in LA. Plus flapper Emily Browning is more flattering than baby doll Emily Browning, and this time Vanessa Hudgens wore a dress that wouldn’t be more appropriate for Betty White. Who knows, maybe the film won’t get trounced by a Wimpy Kid sequel the way it was in America last weekend.

The Sexy Ladies Of Sucker Punch: Who’s Your Favorite?

Sucker Punch isn’t turning the critics on, but between 300 director Zack Snyder‘s fanboy fanbase and the impressive amount of ultra-hotties battling Nazi robots and whatnot in the film, we’re sure plenty of people will indulge in the CGI babefest this weekend. As a warm-up for what’s bound to be a bombastic night of bombshells, check out our mega-gallery of sexy stills and red carpet shots of Sucker Punch stars like Emily Browning, Vanessa Hudgens, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung and Abbie Cornish below.

Sucker Punch Cast, Young Hollywood At Nylon 12th Anniversary Bash

The cast of Sucker Punch are really having their day in the sun. Never mind that they were quite badly dressed at the movie’s premiere. Nylon magazine tied in their 12th anniversary party with Sucker Punch’s release, and the event drew a fair amount of young Hollywood out of their mansions. FYI, Nylon’s April issue has 5 different covers for each of the 5 stars. Jena Malone was M.I.A at the party, but Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Emily Browning and Jamie Chung held the fort. On the whole, there was better dressing all around than from the premiere. Guess the gang finally called their stylists.

The party also brought out its share of starlets. Seen on the carpet were Brittany Snow, Samaire Armstrong, Nicky Hilton, Dania Ramirez and the like. Kelly Osbourne made an appearance too.

Sucker Punch Premiere: Worst Dressed Red Carpet of 2011 So Far?

Considering the amount of female talent in the new movie Sucker Punch, it’s no surprise ladies would dominate the premiere’s red carpet last night in LA. Too bad they didn’t do much with their moment. From Carla Gugino‘s old-school flowerprint to Vanessa Hudgens combining backless with Blanche Devereaux, there didn’t appear to be a theme—though Emily Browning‘s dark-lipped baby doll look and Jena Malone‘s black halter-top and long pink skirt sure had a ’90s tinge to them (did Jena think she was going to prom in a Kevin Williamson movie?). Still, there were plenty of rising gals to photograph, with Jon Hamm and, well, Joe Jonas, even there to represent for the beefcake. See photos of these stars and more in the premiere gallery below.

Abbie Cornish Talks Guns, Scoffs At Traditional Undergarments In GQ

As lovely and doe-eyed as Abbie Cornish looks posing for GQ, the Suckerpunch actress isn’t your average girl next door. No, we’re not referring to the secret love of firearms Abbie reveals in the interview. We mean that you’re supposed to wear your bra on the INSIDE of your clothes, woman! And Abbie, let’s not even talk about tucking your shirt into your fishnet tights. Either Cornish is extremely committed to being the rebel, or she had to get dressed in the dark after a particularly regrettable one-night-stand. Either way, we are totally behind her on this.

While training to play the character Sweetpea in the upcoming action flick, formerly docile Limitless star Cornish found a lust for cold, hard steel. “I’m a vegetarian—I’m not the type to want to go shoot a gun,” Abbie admits. “Then I actually got to the range and totally fell in love with an M4. It was kind of amazing.” Can Abbie please go full Tank Girl? We’d love to see her with a shaved head wrecking havoc in Hollywood. Or maybe we’re just trying to fill the Lori Petty-shaped hole in our lives; sometimes it’s so hard to tell.

Josh Hartnett and Abbie Cornish aren’t hiding their romance anymore. They went public at a private dinner at Macao Trading Co. on Church Street to help celebrate Channing Tatum’s 30th birthday. The bash was hosted by artist and Dactyl founder Neil Grayson. Fancy!

A witness reports, “They turned up after midnight . . . they definitely looked like a couple.” Other guests included Tatum’s wife, Jenna Dewan; Hayley Duff with her actor boyfriend, Nick Zano; and Tatum’s “Son of No One” co-stars James Ransone and Ray Liotta. We’ve just got one question: Ryan Phillipe who?

Bradley Cooper Goes Bad-Ass For The Dark Fields

Bradley Cooper

When exactly did Bradley Cooper become an action bad-ass? Ten years ago he was Amy Poehler‘s gay musical partner in Wet Hot American Summer, taking TV roles (Kitchen Confidential) and bit parts in comedies (perhaps you saw The Comebacks?) before stardom came calling with last year’s The Hangover. He lost the part of Green Lantern to Ryan Reynolds, but his heroics in the upcoming A-Team movie must have been impressive enough to snag him the lead in The Dark Fields, a full-blown “techno-thriller” about mind-altering designer drugs co-starring Abbie Cornish and Robert DeNiro.

Shia LaBeouf was originally set to play Eddie, a slacker turned hyper-intelligent speed freak, but now it’s Bradley getting a gun pulled on him by some Statham-esque thug on set. If The Dark Fields—planned for March 2011—and The A-Team are hits, it might be a while before we see Cooper chasing Sandra Bullock in a rom-com like All About Steve again. Let’s hope it doesn’t get to his fake-tanned head!
