We told you last week that Hayden Panetierre’s on-off BF, Welsh TV host Steve Jones, is making a move over to the States — but his brutal honesty about the behavior of some of his interviewees might ruffle a few feathers. Steve gave an interview to British magazine Live where he skewered the truth about many of his A-list guests hilariously…

• Christian Bale: “Total idiot.”
• Vince Vaughn: “A miserable sod.”
• Avril Lavigne: “Beyond boring. Beyond self-involved.”
• Shia LaBeouf: “A total corpse.”
• Gene Simmons: “The most unbelievably vain, egotistical bloke I have EVER come across. He has a whole room in his house dedicated to all his Kiss rock memorabilia. He can talk about himself for hours and not even know who he’s talking to. That’s pretty tragic,” he said.

We love it when people go off-message and start talking this way. You can just hear the stars’ PRs exploding with rage already. Let’s hope this excellent honesty doesn’t jinx his ABC talk show plans — it could be a celebrity revolution. [Photo: WireImage]

Gene Simmons says Adam Lambert is “great and has a lot of talent,” but the Kiss bassist is clearly tired of talking about the American Idol runner-up. Plugging Gene Simmons’ Family Jewels on FOX Philadelphia, Simmons got annoyed when the newscaster asked how it felt to perform with Lambert on the show’s finale. “How it felt for him to perform with us, you mean?”

You just have to realize who the governor is and who the little puppy is. This kid’s great he’s a got a lot of talent. He doesn’t really have a rock’n'roll voice…he should be the singer in Queen or be on Broadway, but mostly he should shut up about his sexual preferences. Me, America and the rest of the world doesn’t really care. I mean if the story becomes “I prefer farm animals to…”, who cares? Be quiet about what you do indoors and go out there and sing.

Seeing as how Simmons has written a sex-filled autobiography, stars in a reality show and never hesitates to remind us how many women he’s screwed, it’s more than a little hypocritical for him to complain about Adam’s recent openness. Is he homophobic or just jealous?
