Joe Jonas may have changed his haircut, but he hasn’t changed his type. Demi Lovato finally admitted on Billy Bush’s radio show that she’s dating her old Camp Rock co-star. “He is my best friend and he is incredible,” she explained. “He treats me to the most amazing places…He’s perfect.” Quite a sharp turn from November’s “I can swear on my career that I’m not” denial! The fact that the pair have worked together professionally since 2008 adds a new wrinkle to last year’s rumored relationships with Camilla Belle (left) and the Veronicas‘ Lisa Origliasso (right). Don’t be fooled by Demi Lovato’s polished look, permanent smiles and gracious, wise beyond her years attitude. The girl is 17 years old, and she was caught on tape acting like it. Check her out above in London, meeting fans like a pro, when she suddenly turns sour after being asked how her BFF 4 Life, Selena Gomez, is doing. Demi’s response? “Ask Taylor,” an obvious reference to Selena’s recent gal pal and Princess of All Things Perfect and Pretty, Taylor Swift.

Ouch, ooof, zing, burn! This coming from the gal who once solidifed her friendship with Selena with a joint YouTube channel, complete with videos of them dancing to Wham together. Rumor has it that Selena’s been spending a lot of time with former flame Nick Jonas as well, so maybe Demi’s just jealous that her former friend isn’t up her butt as much as she used to be. Whatever it takes for the claws to come out, right?

When we heard that Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas were allegedly an item, we cooed at what an adorable couple they made together. Nothing says love like two g-rated brunettes getting it on! But there’s apparently a darker side to the story. Canadian gossip blogger Zack Taylor broke the news that Joe and Demi were an item and later revealed that his source was none other than Demi’s own mother, Dianna Delagarza, who supposedly texted him tidbits like “they are meant for each other!!!!! don’t you dare say I SAID THAT!!!” WTF x100!?!

For some reason that we’re still trying to figure out, Zach felt as though he had to reveal his source because someone was bashing him to Demi and her family, writing on his blog “Either we reveal our source, or lose all credibility.” With that, he pointed the finger at Demi’s mom Dianna - but only after he received a bunch of angry Twitter messages from Demi (allegedly) threatening to drag his name through the mud if he outed her mother. Confused yet?

It’s like Mean Girls, but the home-schooled, scary Disney version. Folks, you can take your daughters out of school and deprive them of normal socialization as they train to be better soldiers for the Army of Disney, but honestly, the above clip is the best evidence I’ve seen against making your obnoxious offspring the breadwinners in the family.

In the clip, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato (both seen as heirs to the Cyrus crown) put together a video, similar to ones that Miley Cyrus and her best friend Mandy have filmed. Apparently Miley didn’t think it was up to snuff, so she responded with her own mocking video, essentially picking on the girls for their clothing and the gap Lovato had in her teeth. Tsk, tsk, Miles. Not very Christian of you. And also not very smart: those two have an arsenal of material against you, fromyour preference for lime-green lingerie to national magazine photo shoots in which you acted inappropriately.
