Celine Dion Flashes Her Audience In A Super Short Dress

First we were a little shocked at seeing these pix of Celine Dion strutting the stage in a short dress that would even make Tina Turner blush. But then we realized that she probably has a lot of competition with other “flashy” entertainers like Rihanna and Lady Gaga. A diva’s got to do what a diva’s got to do, we suppose! Celine debuted her new look at the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in Trelawny, Jamaica last night. And from the looks of it, we’re guessing the front few rows got a little more than they bargained for as Celine jack-knifed across the boards. We don’t know what she was singing, but we kinda diggin’ this new soulful Celine. Check out more in the gallery below!

Fridge-Raiding Burglar Breaks Into Celine Dion’s Home

This thief is definitely not what you call a mastermind. Celine Dion‘s home was broken into yesterday. But this little heist wasn’t exactly well planned out. It wasn’t like the thief thought — okay, this is Celine Dion‘s house so maybe I should watch The Italian Job as homework. Because this guy — Daniel Bedard — got arrested in her Montreal house while eating pastries, after her drew himself a bath! What a genius, right?

Bedard supposedly stole Celine’s husband’s car keys and used them to break into the mansion, only he set off the alarm while doing so. And when police found him — well, we’ll just let Laval police spokesman Franco Di Genova explain. He says, “He [Bedard] opened the water faucets, was pouring a nice warmish bath (and) he even managed to eat some pastry that was in the fridge. The suspect was coming down the big staircase and was asking: ‘Hey, guys what are young doing here’?”

Bedard has been charged with breaking and entering, auto theft, and causing property damage. And for being the worst burglar trying to break into a celebrity’s house, ever.

Celine Dion Kills ‘Ridiculous Pictures of Celine Dion’ Tumblr

Celine Dion needs to learn how to take a joke. The Canadian singer has redefined “diva” by threatening legal action against the administrator of the ‘Ridiculous Pictures of Celine Dion” tumblr. As advertised, the site specialized in unflattering and funny photos of Dion, of which there are admittedly many to choose from. Apparently the singer stumbled onto the blog (while Google-ing herself?) and her lawyers sent the editor a cease and desist notice resulting in the site’s closure.

The humble blogger signed off with an entry entitled “Céline Dion vs. Yourself.” “Céline Dion found our blog, and she didn’t like it,” they wrote. “We just got a letter from Céline’s lawyers [saying that] that the blog has to be shut down. Though this blog is well within the realm of ‘fair use’, I don’t have the money or time to get a lawyer to respond. The dream is over. Thanks for following and being a Céline superfan. I’ll always remember u, I’ll never let go.”

This aggression will not stand! We don’t know about you, but we feel like spearheading a legal defense fund for the tumblr. It is our constitutional right to post absurd faces of Oscar winning chanteuses! Until the Ridiculous Pictures of Celine Dion tumblr is revived, we will post a ridiculous photo of Celine every HOUR (note to Celine’s lawyers: we won’t do this). Until this wrong is righted, no blog is safe. Flood the web with hilarious Celine faces! We must keep the dream alive! Bloggers of the world, unite!

Celebrity Baby Bump Flaunters: From The Prudish To The Shameless

When we saw pregnant Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak posing for the cover of In Touch Weekly wearing what looked to be a hand-me down bra and a weird pair of sheer panties last week, we immediate thought to ourselves, “That woman has no shame!” After the shock wore off, we began thinking: A) What other celebrities have flaunted their baby bumps on the cover of national magazines and B) Was their pursuit of fame more naked than their actual bodies?

Well, as we discovered during an intense round of research, there are two types of celebrities who use their unborn children to score themselves more publicity: the Prudes and the Shameless. Not every pregnant celebrity wants to pull a Demi Moore, you see. Some, like Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Celine Dion, don’t want to offend their base by showing too much skin. Others, like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, clearly see Moore’s famous Vanity Fair cover as a necessary (and fun!) step in advancing one’s career and deem it necessary to push cultural boundaries. So, what do your favorite celebrities score on either the Prude Meter™ or Shameless Meter™? There’s only way to find out!

Celine Dion Expecting Twins

Congratulations Celine Dion. The singer has revealed that she’s expecting twins! It’s taken a fair amount of patience, because this was her sixth in-vitro fertilization attempt. She had to stay in New York for a month,while going for acupuncture treatments as well. But as her rep put it, ” and it worked!” She added that Dion and her manger husband Rene Angelil are “are both extremely excited. But really, since this was the sixth time, they just want a healthy pregnancy.”

There’s a reason for caution. The struggle to have a second baby – Dion is mother to 9-year-old son René-Charles – has been extremely painful. Failed attempts at IVF, daily hormone shots and a heartbreaking loss of pregnancy last August, all included.

Celine is currently 14 weeks along and will find out the gender of the twins next month.

Though noticably short on rock stars (Rob Thomas may pass for Steve Perry, but Joel Madden does not pass for Bruce Springsteen), Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie assembled an impressive array of talent for their 25th anniversary re-recording of “We Are The World” Monday night. Among those appearing on the single to benefit Haitian relief efforts are Akon, Will.I.Am, Beach Boys Brian Wilson and Al Jardine, Tony Bennett, Justin Bieber, Toni Braxton, Miley Cyrus, Celine Dion, Jamie Foxx, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Groban, Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson, Keri Hilson, Jennifer Hudson, Enriquie Iglesias, Wyclef Jean, the Jonas Brothers, Kid Cudi, Gladys Knight, LL Cool J, Katharine McPhee, Jason Mraz, Pink, Carlos Santana, Nicole Scherzinger, Snoop Dogg, Jordin Sparks, Barbra Streisand, Usher and Kanye West, who was undoubtedly on his best behavior after that Hope For Haiti snub.

While Lil Wayne has revealed he covered Bob Dylan’s vocal, the full singing order has yet to be revealed (we’re pretty sure Vince Vaughn redid Dan Ackroyd‘s part, though). Check out photos from the recording, which was shot in 3-D for release later this month, in the gallery below.

Celine Dion Isn’t Pregnant After All

After announcing her pregnancy in August, Celine Dion‘s husband Rene Angelil has revealed that their fertility treatments were actually not successful. “We are living the reality of the majority of couples who have to use [IVF]. The process can be long and arduous,” Rene said. Celine’s doctor announced she was pregnant via in vitro fertilization very early in the process, but the embryos transferred were not successful. “But today, we are full of confidence. Celine Dion’s Embryo Frozen For 8 Years!

Celine Dion just announced the happy news that she is expecting her second child, and in a new interview the singer’s doctor opens up about the lengthy process Celine and husband Rene Angelil endured to get pregnant a second time.

“You could hear her chuckling,” Dr. Zev Rosenwaks, who performed the in vitro procedure that made 41-year-old Celine get pregnant, said of the singer’s reaction to the news that the pregnancy test was positive. Dr. Zev also dished that the embryo she implated in Celine was frozen for eight years, from the first time she underwent the procedure, which resulted in now eight-year-old son Rene-Charles. After Celine’s run in Las Vegas ended, she came back to the doctor to try to have another baby and now – Voila! On the way!

“She is feeling well. So far, so good. I look forward to feeling the fetal heartbeat. Rene and Celine are both looking forward to a pregnancy that is a healthy one,” Dr. Zev said. Hopefully this Dr. Zev talks to Celine before she does interviews like this blabbing to People! [Photo: Getty Images]

Celine Dion Is Pregnant!

Celine Dion is expecting her second child! The singer, 41, and husband Rene Angelil, 67, conceived using fertility treatments. Celine’s publicist confirmed the news, saying, “They are crazy in love over the news.” The couple have a son together, Rene-Charles, 8, who “starts his first day of private school today,” according to Celine’s publicist.
