The 30 Cutest Couples Of 2011 *That Aren’t Robsten

We’re gonna level with you, dear readers. Here at the FABLife, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will get our vote for the cutest couple every year until the end of time. That’s just the way it goes! So, to make it fair for all of the other adorable love birds out there, we’ve taken them out of the competition. But we’ve made Robsten the gold standard by which we measure and rank the rest of the sweethearts! So please Twihards, don’t send us angry letters.

Sure, 2011 was largely seen as the Year of the Breakup. That doesn’t mean love didn’t flourish! We’ve asked stars who they think should earn the title of “Cutest Couple 2k11,” and their answers ranged from the predicable, to the, err … not so predictable. Tehmina Sunny and Amadou Ly both share our Robsten 4Lyfe sentiments, whereas David Cook and Chelsea Rendon were more Selena Gomez/Justin Bieber people. Roots drummer Questlove was pumped that puppet pals Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy got back together in the Muppets reboot, while Robin Thicke felt that Charlie Sheen and his nose candy made the perfect duo. The Fresh Prince Family Reunion Is Better Than Your Actual Family Reunion

We’re not saying, based on the number of hours we spent in front of the TV following the highjinks of the Banks family, that we love them more than our actual families. We’re just saying, it’s not unusual to see us cry…when we see the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion pic Will Smith posted to Facebook today.

“Got the Holiday season started right with a “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” reunion…there’s nothin’ like spending Holidays with fam!,” the Men In Black III star writes. Snapped at a luncheon for Hilary’s…we’re sorry, Karyn Parson‘s charity Sweet Blackberry, the photo features Will, Tatyana Ali, Alfonso Ribeiro, and James Avery, though tragically Geoffrey and the two Aunt Vivs are absent. You’ll be glad to know we just had our coworkers tie us to our chair to stop us from spastically launching into the Carlton dance over this. Too bad nothing can stop the tears. Or the Carlton! Call security all you want; nothing can stop this dance machine!

Independence Day 2 And 3 Are On The Way; Will Smith Isn’t So Sure About That

Today we celebrate our Independence Day … sequels! Will Smith’s rap career is already cycling back around, so why shouldn’t the movie that made him an international superstar? Vulture reports that Fox has decided to move forward with Independence Day 2 and 3, both follow-ups to the 1996 sci-fi hit, even though Will Smith hasn’t technically signed on to star in them yet. OK, forget about Big Willie for a second: What about Jeff Goldblum? We need our Goldblum! You already know Bill Pullman is in. He’s just been biding his time for this exact moment and waiting … always waiting.

Smith worked most recently on Men in Black III, and has yet to commit to his next film. However, Fox Studios allegedly balked at his combined $50 million dollar pay check, as well as some of Will’s … artistic choices. “It’s complicated because of where and how [Smith] wants to shoot; he wants to be close to home, to the kids,” their source explains. “There’s also been talks about him wanting to include Jada [Pinkett Smith] and maybe even Willow [Smith] in the movie, too.” Sign. Us. Up. If world-wide hair whipping can’t subdue those extraterrestrials, then nothing will.

Remember when Aaliyah sang “Age Ain’t Nothing But A Number”? Well, these celebrity couples of past and present are intent on showing us that the same thing goes for height. From basketball stars towering over their significant others to models and their shorter male counterparts, these couples prove that size does not matter. Although some have moved on while others are still going strong, these stars seem to know how to make it work when it comes to a vertical challenge. Jada’s Rep Denies She Had An Affair With Marc Anthony

Even though their reps and family denied such reports, these pesky rumors of trouble in Will Smith‘s marriage to Jada Pinkett Smith just won’t stop. And frankly, they just get more and more bizarre. After starting the whole controversy yesterday, In Touch Magazine is now saying that Jada was cheating on The Fresh Prince with her HawthoRNe costar, Marc Anthony! Say what!? According to the magazine, Will suspected that his wife was gettin’ jiggy with J-Lo‘s ex, so he secretly flew home early from a film shoot a few weeks back. Allegedly he walked in and indeed found his wife with Marc, which caused him to flee the house in tears.

Now if you ask us, that’s the first clue that this report is BS: Big Willie would NEVER just run away crying. Come on In Touch, haven’t you ever seen Independence Day!? The couple’s PR rep issued a statement yesterday saying that Jada had never been unfaithful to Will, and took care to mention Marc Anthony specifically in their denial. Despite this, TMZ is reporting that although the couple haven’t technically split, they’re having serious problems. A source close to the Smith’s say that they have been living separate lives for several months now, and say that a divorce is “definitely a possibility.”

Will Smith And Jada Pinkett Deny Split

The truth comes out! While In Touch reported news this morning about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett’s separation, the couple has officially denied the split. “Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact,” the couple said in a joint statement this afternoon. Finally! Waiting 8 hours before Will Smith and Jada Pinkett deny divorce rumors is about…8 hours too long.

Earlier today Smith’s son from his first marriage Trey Smith shot down rumors about his dad and step-mom. “Will and Jada getting a DIVORCE ..NOT TRUE AT ALL !! RETWEET,” Trey tweeted this afternoon. Meanwhile Jada’s rep Karynne Tencer denied rumors that Jada Pinkett and Marc Anthony are dating. We know! The rumors were coming too fast, too furious! “All the rumors regarding Marc Anthony and Jada are false,” she told People this afternoon. “Completely untrue. As for [the reports of a split between] Will and Jada, I’m not commenting on their personal life.” But..but..but you had already started commenting! You could have kept going with it until we know what’s actually going on! Either way, we’re happy to hear these kids are still together…until further notice.

Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith Separating? Say It Ain’t So!

It’s our sad duty to address the uber-depressing rumors that Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are splitting up! This is according to an In-Touch Weekly story that says The Coolest Couple In Hollywood are separating after13 years of marriage. They met in 1990 on the set of Smith’s sitcom, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, when Pinkett was auditioning for the part of his character’s girlfriend. She didn’t get the part, but she ended up getting the real Will instead. That’s not a bad silver medal!

They have two children together, the super-talented Jaden and Willow, as well as Trey, Will’s son from a previous marriage. Will has spoken about divorce before with Ellen DeGeneres, saying that it “just can’t be an option. It’s really that simple.” We’re hoping that In-Touch is full of it. Can someone please use that flashy thing from Men In Black and make us forget all about this?

Will Smith Rumored To Be Working On New Album

Looks like the atmosphere will be experiencing a rapid influx of Big Willie Syle in the next year or so. While the Men In Black III actor is currently still filming the movie’s threequel, Will Smith’s new album is allegedly also on the way. Producer La Mar Edwards told XXL that he and the freshest of princes are currently collaborating on some new jams, explaining “We’re working on Will Smith, bringing him back. That’s actually him on the other line right now.” Hmm, let’s see, everyone already feels completely welcome in Miami. Where to go from here…

Some people, like music blog Playlist, have postulated that perhaps Will Smith’s first single might be recorded for the MIB3 soundtrack, just as the original Men In Black spawned Will’s smash hit “Men in Black” and Men In Black II brought us…that other one, “Nod Ya Head (Black Suits Comin’).” Our thoughts? It’s time cue the dancing aliens! More! More dancing aliens!

Will And Jada Smith Have An Enormous House

You wanna see where all that “Welcome to Miami” and Men in Black money went? Look no further than Will and Jada (Pinkett) Smith’s California dream home. The couple shares a sprawling 25,000 square foot Malibu mansion with their kids Trey (from Will’s first marriage), Jaden and Willow. The adobe structure “was always a spiritual endeavor,” says Jada. “We’re very earthy, organic people. We wanted to create a family retreat, something made by hand and as natural as possible, something that ties back to the land.”

What Jada forgot to mention is that this place is HUGE. There is an outdoor living room and a lake with a gazebo, where, Will says, “Answers come to me out there.” Of course they do — you’re in a million dollar gazebo in the middle of a man-made lake. Marky Turns 40: Happy Birthday, Mark Wahlberg!

It’s the highest compliment we can give Mark Wahlberg that we regularly forget he was once the shirtless dynamo Marky Mark. After two decades of quality film work in movies ranging from The Other Guys to Three Kings to Boogie Nights to The Departed—the last of which earning him an Oscar nomination—”Good Vibrations” is nowhere near the first thing that comes to mind when we think of him today. However, when we do think of “Good Vibrations,” we do remember that the successful actor was once the doofus brother of a New Kid On The Block, rapping about how vibrations are good like Sunkist with his pants around his ankles. And boy, do we laugh.
