Akon Employee Allegedly Robbed By Suge Knight’s Crew

TMZ is reporting that Christopher Walker, an employee who works for Detail, Akon‘s producer, had an unpleasant night last night when his home was robbed by five armed men who work for Suge Knight.

The men claimed they were there to collect a debt that Detail owed Knight, and poor Walker’s house got ransacked as a result. Between $200,000 and $300,000 worth of merchandise was taken, including $170,000 worth of jewelry, the keys to a Mercedes, and a 130-pound safe.

The longstanding feud between Akon and Suge came to a head last February at NBA All-Star weekend when a man from Akon’s camp, Robert Carnes, Jr., punched Suge in the face because of the debt. Do Akon and his people know that you don’t mess with Suge? Doesn’t everyone remember the Vanilla Ice Behind The Music, where Vanilla described being hung out a hotel window with Suge holding him by the ankles? And that was just Vanilla Ice! Clearly if you owe the man money, and you’re as big as Akon, you shouldn’t keep having your people punch him in the head.

Detectives are currently at the scene of the crime in Van Nuys, CA but we’re wondering how much there is to detect when your thieves tell the victim why they’re there and who they’re collecting a debt for. [Photos: WireImage, Getty Images]

Suge Knight’s Face Fractured By Akon’s Entourage

Former Death Row impresario Suge Knight may have declared bankruptcy in 2006, but he can still throw down with the biggest stars in music—or at least their entourage. Knight went to an Arizona hospital early Monday morning after Robert Carnes, Jr., a member of Akon‘s “camp,” punched him twice, breaking several bones in his face. Scottsdale police had to use tasers to break up the fight, arresting Carnes and Thomas Anderson, Jr. for disorderly conduct and assault. Akon, who attended the NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix last weekend, was not present during the incident.

Despite his frequent financial troubles and inability to revive his musical empire, Knight had a busy 2008, getting knocked on his ass in May, attacking his now-missing girlfriend in public with a knife in August, and suing Kanye West over a lost earring in November. Looks like 2009 might be just as exciting.

Suge Sues Kanye For 2005 Shooting, Loss Of Earring

Embattled former Death Row owner Suge Knight allegedly started his career by hanging Vanilla Ice out of a hotel window—so it makes sense that the impresario would go back to harrassing rappers today. Knight is belatedly suing Kanye West for the shooting injury he received at West’s pre-VMA bash in August 2005. After all, it was the “Love Lockdown” star’s security that let the unknown assailant through, capping Knight in the leg.

Knight’s other grievances against West include loss of blood, the loss of a diamond earring worth almost $150,000, and having to take a private jet back to Cali (it was so necessary!). He’s also—we shit you not—hitting West up for the “mental anguish” Knight received over “the loss of use and enjoyment of the earring.” Pretty ridiculous, though if anyone would sympathize with the pain of losing diamonds, it’s West.

So why did Knight fail to sue West until now? It couldn’t have anything to do with Knight being under bankruptcy protection, could it? Still, it might be in West’s best interests to settle. Remember when Knight was arrested for beating his girlfriend in Vegas last August? That case is on hold, as the woman, Melissa Isaac, is now missing. Take heed, Yeezy.

Suge Knight Already Out On Bail

Suge Knight is out on $19,000 bail less than 24 hours after getting arrested in Vegas for beating his girlfriend and chasing her with a knife after she left his car. He’ll face the assault charges (as well as possession of ecstasy and hydrocodone) on September 26. Can he stay out of trouble for a whole month? [AP]

Suge Knight Bugs Out In Vegas, Gets Arrested For Assault

Suge Knight, the notorious former kingpin of Death Row Records, is back in the slammer after a wild night in Vegas ended with him holding a knife over his girlfriend after she fled his car. Knight was arguing with his girlfriend while driving when he allegedly punched her in the head. The woman then grabbed his steering wheel, causing him to hit the curb, and left the car. Knight then chased her down the street with a knife, reaching her just as officers arrived on the scene. Knight is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, battery domestic violence, possession of an illegal substance and possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription.
