Do your movies keep filling up the direct-to-DVD dollar bin? Do they often complete the phrase “the worst film since…”? Do they make less money than we did that time we went to a Coinstar? Well, don’t let that get you down, because you could still be in the running for Oscar glory! Every year, the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation names the most terrible films and performances of the year. Sure, it’s gotta hurt to be named the absolute worst of Hollywood, but just know that you’re in surprisingly good company. Sandra Bullock “Perfectly Content To Be Permanently Broken”‬ After Divorce

Oh Sandy, no. We want our Sandra Bullock strong and charismatic, like in Miss Congeniality, not tragic and broken down by the world, like in Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous. Luckily a role in the upcoming drama Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close and the encouragement of director Stephen Daldry cured her of the near-terminal case of “chronic Jesse James” Bullock had contracted from her divorce. As the Blind Side star explained to AP, “I was perfectly content to be permanently broken … time-wise. I honestly didn’t think I was in a place where I wanted to work or wanted to step out of where I was. I wasn’t prepared. But the opportunity was louder than my head.” Oh yeah, this sounds like straight-up Speed Sandra Bullock talking now. Which is a good thing.

It might be a surprise to some that Bullock’s invigorating comeback role, the first since her 2010 split, would be that of a 9/11 widow, but the Academy Award-winning actress threw herself into the project nonetheless. “What a way to get back on the horse,” she explained. “It was hard, but it was what it’s supposed to be.” We imagine co-star Tom Hanks’ tender yet stern gaze couldn’t have hurt, either. Sometimes that’s all we can imagine.

Sandra Bullock’s Baby Louis Gets A Warhol, And We’re Not Jealous

Some kids have all the luck. And fabulously wealthy parents. At a charity auction for amFAR in Hollywood last night, Sandra Bullock‘s agents, Kevin Huvane and Bryan Lourd, dropped $14,000 for a print of Andy Warhol’s Peaches as a gift to baby Louis Bardo, Us Weekly reports. Who, um, is 1 year old. Now, I don’t remember being 1, but I’m pretty sure at that age I was about as interested in a piece of cardboard as I would be in a pop art masterpiece. I’m sure he’ll grow into it. And also, it’s for AIDS research, so you can’t really fault that kind of extravagance.

Someone forgot to invite me to this benefit, so I’m not entirely sure which version of the print they bought, but here’s one, just so you get an idea. Nice bright colors, kind of like you’d see in a picture book. But picture books are for peasants.

Arrr! Sandra Bullock And Baby Louis Are Mateys!

Look at Sandra Bullock and her baby Louis being all pirate-like. Arrr … it’s the cutest thing ever! The actress was ferrying her son from a pirate-themed birthday party in Brentwood, California. Which explains the presence of the skull and crossbones and tricorne. It’s not a new wave of mommy-baby fashion, sadly. Because Louis’ outfit — especially those boots — is totally awesome.

Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock Make You Cry In Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close

Ugh, as soon as you see an adorable little boy in a knit cap, you know things are not going to pan out well in the Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close trailer. By the time you realize it’s happening on 9/11? Forget. About. It. We’re going to go ahead and just construct a shirt made out of Kleenex now, just to be ready when we see it in theaters. Based on the Jonathan Safran Foer book of the same name, Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks star as mother and father to newcomer Thomas Horn. Once Hanks’ character passes away during the September 11 attacks, Horn has to scour New York for the lock that matches a mysterious key left him by his father. So…second Oscar for Sandra Bullock, then? All the Oscars for Sandra Bullock, then?

Ryan Reynolds Discusses His Recovery After Being Struck By A Drunk Driver

It should come as no surprise that drinking and driving no laughing matter. Just ask Ryan Reynolds. The Change-Up hunk recently opened up about his hellish ordeal after being struck by a drunk driver at the age of 19. “I was at a bar and I had a few drinks,” he told CTV in his native Canada (where the drinking age is 18). “And I thought, ‘You know what I’m going to do? I’m going to leave my car here, be responsible.’ I started to walk home and I was hit by a drunk driver.” It’s stories like this that make us question karma.

And this was no small bump, either. The impact left him in a coma and “broke every bone in my left side. I woke up three days later.” Oh my god, dude! We’re sorry for every bad things we said about The Green Lantern! But at least he had family around when he finally came to. “I remember my dad sitting there [with] a vomit tray. And I guess I had been heaving in my unconscious. And nothing says love like painting someone with three-day-old Gin Rummies. Just soaked the man head to toe in my vomit.” That’s love, Ryan.

He seems to have recovered, but says that’s not totally the case. “Since then, I’ve been a rickety, broken mess.” He’s gotta be kidding, because we know a decent number of people who think he’s pretty perfect. Like his old “friends” Sandra Bullock and Charlize Theron, for a start…

Sandra Bullock And Ryan Reynolds Look Very Date-y At Change-Up Premiere

Are Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds sure they’re not dating? Like, totally sure? Maybe they just forgot. We forget stuff all the time. Like that time we locked our keys on our apartment, or that time we were dating that gorgeous A-list actress. It just slipped our minds. Maybe they’re relationship is like that. Because we gotta say that they were quite the adorable couple last night at the premiere of The Change-Up.

Reynolds stars along side Jason Bateman, but Sandra showed up to be his surprise date. Awww. What are “friends” for, right? Yeah yeah, we know Ryan’s supposedly hooking up with that other gorgeous Oscar-winner, Charlize Theron. But it can’t stop us from dreaming, right? It just seems too perfect! Kat Von D Storms Off Talk Show After Jesse James Questions

Just days after the news of her split with mega-creep Jesse James went public, Kat Von D stormed out of the Good Day L.A. studios after learning that host Jillian Reynolds planned to ask some questions about, you guessed it, her split with mega-creep Jesse James. Kat doesn’t seem to get how morning talk shows (or people in general) work. But now she’s back peddling and insisting to TMZ that the show’s anchors broke their word to not mention the split in her introduction.

Kat says she saw her Jesse James-centric intro on the teleprompter and “very politely” asked that it be changed, but nothing was done about it. So when she heard it live on air, she bolted. Good Day L.A. producers are calling BS, and insist that Kat made no such demands, only requesting the interviewers didn’t discuss former James flames Sandra Bullock and Michelle McGee (which they didn’t). Kat claims that she didn’t want her to highlight her personal life, but promote the new season of LA Ink. And what better way to promote a series than a massively public breakup and causing a fuss on live television. We’re just sayin…

Jesse James Still Feels “Pretty Beaten Up In The Media”

If we don’t start being nice to Jesse James, we might not have him to kick around much longer. The motorcycling/philandering expert revealed to PopEater that he’s felt “pretty beaten up in the media” since he began promoting his new memoir, American Outlaw. “The last few day have been pretty bad,” he confessed. “It’s kind of reminding me how things were a year ago, maybe all those people are right and I should go back and hide in my shop.” Hey, sorry we weren’t impressed when Jesse told Howard Stern sex was “100 percent better” with fiancee Kat Von D than ex-wife Sandra Bullock, whose Oscar-win afterglow was ruined by his dalliance with one Michelle “Bombshell” McGee…among others.

But really, what would make the haters happy? “At this point I don’t think I’m going to be able to do anything right in anybody’s eyes ever again,” he sighed when discussing his quick engagement following the end of his marriage to Bullock. “Except kill myself or disappear, then people will be happy I guess.” Or maybe you could focus your work, rather than write a memoir about the very stuff everyone hates you for. Hugh Grant made movies after he cheated on Elizabeth Hurley with a hooker, he didn’t write and promote a memoir about the emotional scars that made him a bad boy. There’s a lesson there, Jesse.

Jesse James: Sex Is “100% Better” With Kat Von D

Jesse James has crawled out of his hole to promote his upcoming autobiography, American Outlaw, and it looks like he’s brought some dirt with him. While he mostly tells interviewers about how self-destructive his prodigious philandering was and how ex-wife Sandra Bullock won’t let him see her adopted son Louis and that she doesn’t talk to his daughter Sunny super-often (the witch!), Howard Stern predictably managed to get the answers your average journalist wouldn’t even seek. According to E!, James said sex with fiancee Kat Von D is “100 percent better” than it was with Sandra, and that he will never cheat on her.

It’s not clear why he’d feel the need to dump on Sandra like that—he’s got the tattooed fetish girl, she’s got the kid, everyone can just go about their lives happily now—but don’t expect him to feel bad. “I need to come out of the shadows,” he said on Nightline. “Just because I cheated on my wife and got busted for it, and it became a whole media s—storm, it doesn’t mean that I’m not valuable. I’m sorry it happened. I’m sorry it went down the way it did, but I forgive myself and now I can move on.” In related news, Kat and Jesse tweeted the chorus of “I Melt With You” to each other this afternoon. Because they are the worst.
