Chelsea Handler Discusses Her Teen Pregnancy, Abortion On The Rosie Show

Man, ladies have been keeping it real recently; Jamie Lynn Spears, we’re looking at you here. As you might expect, Chelsea Handler is keeping it realer than most, especially when discussing her teen pregnancy and abortion with Rosie O’Donnell. “I was so delusional,” the Chelsea Lately host revealed on Wednesday’s episode of The Rosie Show. “I was like, ‘I’m ready for a baby.’” Finding herself pregnant at 16, Handler’s parents suggest their daughter get an abortion, which she eventually did. “You’re supposed to create a life for yourself,” she recalls them saying. “We want you to enjoy your life and not be raising a child, and we’re certainly not going to raise it for you.” Oh well, that basically explains how Chelsea Handler can talk openly about anything and everything. Even things that would make other people squirm.

The writer and comedian also opened up about the death of her mother and brother, as well as her unfiltered take on sex and relationships. Concluded Handler, “You should do whatever you want with your body and you shouldn’t let anyone tell you what to do.” Can Rosie O’Donnell just change the name of her show to Real Talk? Can Chelsea Handler just change her actual name to Real Talk?

Celebrities Flock To Indianapolis To Watch The Super Bowl

You would think that a bunch of stars showed up in Indianapolis to watch the Super Bowl last night, and you would be right. We spotted a fair amount of them thanks to Twitter. Jessica Simpson, Lenny Kravitz and Rosie O’Donnell all tweeted photographs of themselves at the game. Husband-and-wife duo, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton sang “America the Beautiful” right before kick-off. Seal was out with his camera. And after her pregame concert, you couldn’t miss Katy Perry either with her blue hair and crazy mismatched outfit (her shoes were different colors). And of course, Gisele Bundchen was there to console husband Tom Brady after his team lost. Check out all the photographs in our gallery below.

Rosie O’Donnell Engaged To Michelle Rounds

Congrats are due to Rosie O’Donnell! The 49-year-old announced on her new OWN Network show that she’s engaged to Michelle Rounds. Her publicist told Us Weekly that The Rosie Show host will wed her lady love over the Christmas holiday. Rosie was previously married to longtime partner Kelli Carpenter, with whom she has four children. They split in 2007.

In October, Rosie called into The Howard Stern Show and gushed about her relationship with Rounds, telling Stern that marriage was “in the cards.” She also compared her to Julianne Moore (hawt!) and said her kids already introduced her as their “step-mom.” Now we just want to know if the comic superstar is gonna to drop the O’Donnell in favor of ‘Rosie Rounds.’ It’s the cutest name ever — we say embrace it!

Oprah, Celebrities Make Crazy Faces At Her (Almost) Final Show

Oprah Winfrey taped her some of her last shows this week (spoiler alert: there were celebrities!) and the one requirement for appearing onstage was that each star had to do their best “Oprah having an orgasmic meltdown” impression. The roster was a who’s who of ultimate Oprah BFFs, including Maya Angelou, Tom Hanks, Will and Jada Smith, Tom Cruise and his wife-bot Katie Holmes, Madonna, Rosie O’Donnell, Halle Berry, Aretha Franklin, Michael Jordan, Maria Shriver, Patti LaBelle, Josh Groban and, randomly, Dakota Fanning.

Rosie O’Donnell Feels Chris Brown’s Pain

A lot of people claim that the Chris Brown and Rihanna incident isn’t anyone’s business except their own. Whether or not you agree on that point, we can all agree on one thing: it is definitely none of Rosie O’Donnell‘s beeswax. Rosie On’Donnell defended Chris Brown on her Sirius show Rosie Radio this morning, arguing “I just don’t know why this kid seems to be held to a different standard than anyone else.” O’Donnell’s statement seems to imply that there is someone on the planet who could have pulled off Chris Brown’s GMA meltdown without the world giving him or her the extreme side-eye. Unless Rosie is just pointing out that the 6 billion non-famous people on Earth would have been straight-up arrested for shattering a window with a chair. In which case yeah, there is a double standard.

O’Donnell went so far as cast blame on GMA anchor Robin Roberts for asking Brown questions about his domestic abuse of Rihanna. “I felt mildly angry at Robin Roberts. I felt like writing her and going: ‘Can you take a look at this again and see if maybe you find — in any way — your responsibility in this?” Rosie said. O’Donnell also likened Brown’s rage to the frustration she felt during her tumultuous stint on another day-time talk show: “Part of me wanted to take a chair and throw it through the window at The View after all that happened.” Somehow we think talking about hurling furniture while a panicky Barbara Walter screams in the background isn’t going to help anyone at this point. Maybe save your comments for a more appropriate time, Rosie. Like, perhaps never.

Famous Loner, Rebel Pee-Wee Herman Debuts Broadway Show

We don’t usually cover the Broadway beat here at TheFABLife, but for Pee-Wee Herman, we will make an exception. In case you hadn’t heard, Pee Wee (played by Paul Reubens) is bringing his legendary Pee-Wee Herman Show stage show to the Great White Way for a few months so that those of us who grew up on Pee-Wee’s Playhouse can relive our childhood. Mecca lecca hi, mecca heiny ho indeed.

It’s safe to say Pee-Wee is one of the biggest influences in our young life and we can quote approximately 99% of Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure verbatim. (By the way, you do know that actor Mark Holton, a.k.a. bike thief Francis Buxton went on to play John Wayne Gacy, right? Scariest poster ever? Yes, yes it is.) So, we personally can’t wait to see the Broadway show, but apparently neither could a lot of celebrities. Check out who was there on opening night, including some of our Playhouse faves like Miss Yvonne (the most beautiful woman in Puppetland!) and Cowboy Curtis (played here by Phil Lamarr, not Laurence Fishburne – he’s busy with other things these days.)

Lindsay Lohan May Face Jail Time For Violating Parole

Looks like the prison system might get its hands on Lindsay Lohan before her father Michael can. According to TMZ, Lindsay has been in violation of her DUI probation, almost guaranteeing her jail time after her next court date on May 20. While the state only requires alcohol education schools to report when a student like Lindsay fails to attend after 21 days, TMZ says the judge demanded she go to school every 7 days—and Lindsay’s barely making the three week deadline. Though Lindsay’s lawyer says she’s in compliance with the law, it sure sounds like she’s not doing what the judge—who threatened prison if she slipped up—told her to. With Lindsay throwing drinks at Sam Ronson and partying with her underage sister, it’s hard to imagine why the judge would let this slide.

Coincidentally or not, Lindsay and Ali zoomed through LAX yesterday on their way to NY. Here’s hoping they’re trying to find Rosie O’Donnell and take her up on her intervention offer (“All I wanna do is help her and save her and I wonder why her mother does not…I would take her off to rehab and force her to stay there.”) See photos of the scenester siblings in the gallery below.

Rosie O’Donnell Confirms Return To Daytime TV

The rumors are true—Rosie O’Donnell will attempt to fill Oprah’s shoes with an afternoon talk show in 2011. “A lot of companies have asked in the few years that I’ve been gone, since 2002,” she told Entertainment Tonight last night. “[But] now all my kids are in school and I’ve got my days free…with Oprah leaving, there’s a huge void in daytime.” Unlike her earlier daytime show, O’Donnell promises no desks or “celebs promoting movies,” just “a single topic, hour-long show about life, love and laughter…maybe a few giveaways.” And if ratings are low…maybe a few celebs.

With Tyra abdicating her own talk show, Rosie is close to an O surrogate as we can imagine, but many wonder if O’Donnell is too persnickety and opinionated—remember her View meltdowns?—to assume the mantle (the failure of her 2008 variety show doesn’t bode well for her enduring popularity either). But the once and future talk show host sounds determined to alleviate such concerns, promising nothing but “laughter and love in the afternoon.” “It’s gonna be a lot different because I’m a lot older, you know,” she said. “It’ll be a dozen years since leaving my own show when we go back on the air and I’ve grown a lot and I think that it’s time.” Viewers will get to be the judge of that next year.

Rosie O’Donnell Shows Us Some Leg

We might have been the only people who tuned in to see Rosie O’Donnell flop live on national TV. Just 5 million people tuned in to watch Rosie Live on Wednesday night, and the awkward variety show was as entertaining as watching your drunk uncle pass out in the La-Z-Boy. It got canned after just one episode, and Rosie retreated to her Miami mansion to recuperate and celebrate Thanksgiving.

When she wasn’t chowing down on turkey legs with her adorable clan, she was busy showing off her own glorious gams. We caught the chatty comedian flaunting some skin alongside wife Kelly; another time she was decked out in bike shorts on her boat. Hot? Maybe not, but we doubt Rosie cares what people think.
