Blake Lively Tells Elle She’s Only “Had Four Boyfriends In My Whole Life”

First let’s just get how good Blake Lively looks on the March cover of Elle out of the way. Because this is one of the best covers we’ve seen in a very long time. It’s chic, beautifully understated and the hair, makeup and styling is spot on. The shoot inside is a different story altogether, because can someone say steamy? What we find interesting in the interview is how Blake reveals, “I’ve had four boyfriends in my whole life. I’ve never been with anyone that’s not a boyfriend. If I spend time with a man, it’s because there’s somebody that I know well who has been a friend for a while.” Does this include Ryan Reynolds, her current flame? And Leonardo DiCaprio, the ex of a couple of months ago? And can someone point out that Blake is only 24 so her “whole life” doesn’t really apply here? Because we have a feeling we’re going to see a fair amount of A-Listers on Blake’s arm in the future.

Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Robsten Top Another List, Because Why Not?

The folks at Forbes certainly know what they’re doing. Usually, we turn to them for the big lists, like the Celebrity 100, the World’s Most Powerful Women or the Hip-Hop Cash Kings. But those take a lot of work, and sometimes, they just need something fast and easy (we’re just assuming here, ’cause you know, we’d never be so gratuitous about our lists). So, they do things like this week’s Hollywood’s Top-Earning On-Screen Couples, which is topped by Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, followed by Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson.

We’re very happy to see the Harry Potter and Twilight stars at the top of the list, natch. But it does feel a bit like the editors sat down and said, “What kind of list can we do that will feature the stars of Harry Potter and Twilight, and maybe also Pirates of the Caribbean and Transformers?” They admit themselves that the whole thing is based on numbers from Box Office Mojo (the total earnings from movies with the stars as a couple from the last five years).

Still, here we are, looking at the list. So they’ve hooked us again! We’ll give you the full list below, but also we want to come up with some kind of challenge for the Forbes editors, just to make sure they stay on top of their game. Maybe the next feature should be something like America’s Highest-Grossing Puppet Shows or Top-Earning Subway Mariachi Groups. That‘ll take a little shoe leather.

The Help, The Artist Top SAG Noms – But Stunt Cast Honors Are Way Cooler

The Descendants, The Artist and The Help seem to be three of the biggest films so far in the 2012 awards season race. But the Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations were announced this morning, and The Help and The Artist were leading the nods with three apiece, while the George Clooney flick picked up only two. In the hottest contest, for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, The Artist and The Descendants are up against Bridesmaids and Midnight in Paris. The actor category recognized Clooney, The Artist’s Jean Dujardin, Brad Pitt for Moneyball, Leonardo DiCaprio for J. Edgar and A Better Life star Demian Bichir. The lead actress contenders are Glenn Close for Albert Nobbs, as well as the same four ladies that have been nominated all season long already: Viola Davis for The Help, Meryl Streep for The Iron Lady, Tilda Swinton for We Need to Talk About Kevin and Michelle Williams for My Week With Marylin. The supporting actor and actress categories also closely resemble every other kudosfest so far (though, sorry, Drive fans, Albert Brooks was left out of this one).

There are plenty of familiar faces in the TV categories too — Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, Dexter and The Good Wife are up against newcomer Game of Thrones. (Good thing there’s no “you win or you die” rule here.)

The most exciting nominations to us? The stunt ensembles! The Adjustment Bureau, Cowboys & Aliens, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and X-Men: First Class are the movie casts up for the prize. And the Dexter, Game of Thrones, Southland, Spartacus: Gods of the Arena and True Blood ensembles compete in the TV category. Wait, can that one be an arena battle, instead of a vote? Pretty please?

Head here for the complete SAG Awards list. The 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will air live on Sunday, January 29, on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Leo DiCaprio Through The Years: From Child Phenom To The Top Of Tinseltown

Over the last 20 years, Leonardo DiCaprio made jaws drop in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, melted hearts with Romeo + Juliet and Titanic, and has delivered one stellar, award-winning dramatic performance after another. DiCaprio’s résumé is one of Hollywood’s most impressive and with titular characters in J. Edgar (out today), The Great Gatsby (2012) and Sinatra (rumored, 2013), this über-A-lister isn’t slowing down any time soon.

Celebrate the 37th birthday of the ever-so-handsome Leo DiCaprio by taking a look back in photos.

Leonardo DiCaprio May Direct Someday, Says Clint Eastwood

We caught up with Clint Eastwood at the LACMA Gala in his honor this weekend and asked him if Leonardo DiCaprio, star of Eastwood’s new movie J. Edgar, might follow in his directorial footsteps someday. After all, don’t you think Leo would kick some serious ass behind the camera? Clint, an iconic actor-turned-director, charmed our pants off by complimenting our outfit, and then offered up this tidbit about a future Director DiCaprio: “A lot of actors, myself included, like to move to to that thing. … I think he would like to try it someday.”

Sounds promising! Clip above.

J.Edgar Premiere Brings Out Slimline Leo DiCaprio

Whatever weight Leonardo DiCaprio put on for his role in J. Edgar has already been worked off. We’d like the number of his trainer, please? He walked the red carpet for the world premiere of the film, held yesterday at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, looking slick and streamlined in a black suit and silver tie. Complementing him was Naomi Watts, who shimmered in a plunging sequined gown. Director Clint Eastwood didn’t seem too happy to face the cameras, but he did bring two of his children — actors Alison Eastwood and Scott Eastwood — who seemed quite comfortable amid the mayhem. There were also a host of other familiar faces spotted at the premiere. Armie Hammer, who also has a strong role in the movie, came with his beautiful wife, Elizabeth Chambers. Hilary Swank, Ed Westwick, Liev Schreiber (who accompanied wife Naomi) and Jennifer Love Hewitt all gave great red carpet face. Make sure to check out our gallery for all the action.

Leo DiCaprio “Got A Little Fat” On J. Edgar Set, Screenwriter Says

Much like Matt Damon in The Informant or Renee Zellweger in Bridget Jones’ Diary, Leonardo DiCaprio was a consummate actor on the set of the upcoming J. Edgar. Or should we say Leo was a consuming actor, as according to the film’s screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, the actor packed on the lbs while portraying the infamous head of FBI. “Some of those pounds on later Hoover were not prosthetic. I’ll say it. Leo got a little fat,” Black revealed in DiCaprio’s New York Times profile, citing German chocolate cupcakes as Leo’s kryptonite. Look, the man works method! Leo probably read some obscure interview in which J. Edgar Hoover confessed an uncontrollable love of baked goods and he had to go for it. It’s all for his art!

Jowls aside, DiCaprio praised the movie’s make-up artist Sian Grigg for helping him transform into an elderly man for the film’s later scenes. “I’m sure she had multiple panic attacks trying to get me ready,” he reveals. “I could be quite squirmy.” Having had to spend two weeks in old man face, the Great Gatsby star admits, “To stay in character and to fight the urge not to rip it off at times and to not feel trapped inside it is extremely hard. It’s like you’ve been slathered in honey and wrapped in a giant duvet.” Mmmm, slathered in honey. Leo, no! Drop the comforter! No man can eat that much fabric and live!

Leonardo DiCaprio And Tobey Maguire Class Up Halloween On Great Gatsby Set

It’s Halloween, so every celeb on this site should be dressed up in an outrageous outfit. It’s the law or something! And our vote for classiest costume goes to Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire. So what if it’s not for the holiday? The dudes look pretty damn dapper, so sue us! The two actors were snapped on the set of Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of The Great Gatsby, wearing steller suits and driving a seriously old school car. We’d like to go trick-or-treating in that whip. Check out the gallery below for more.

Did I Do That? From Sitcom Kids To Grown-Up Stars

Why can’t the world let Jaleel White be great? The man formerly known as Urkel complained to People today that he feels limited by his sitcom past. “I’m very versatile, but somehow I didn’t earn the tag of being called a versatile actor,” the former Family Matters star says. “I’m still chasing that one Vanity Fair tag that says, ‘This guy’s a versatile actor.’ I accept it. It’s fine. But for me, it’s like what do I have to do to get that [acknowledgment]?”

Luckily for White, those different and exciting roles could still be just around the corner! Your career doesn’t have to end when those highwaters get too tight to wear! Check out our gallery of sitcom kids, from Leo DiCaprio to Raven-Symone to Sarah Jessica Parker, who successfully made the transition from adorable youngsters to adult film and television stars. And hey…don’t lose the faith, Jaleel.

Leo DiCaprio Is Large, Extremely In Change In J. Edgar Poster

We love, love, love Oscar Bait Leo DiCaprio. Seeing him transform into the angry, beefy director of the FBI in the new J. Edgar poster is in the exact same vein as watching Leo slowly slip off a board into the freezing Atlantic, or invade a businessman’s dreams. Speaking of (bulging) veins, the movie’s tagline could easily be changed from “The Most Powerful Man in the World” to “The Most Intense Forehead Crease of all Time.” Sure, maybe the gigantic scary face isn’t making the film’s Armie Hammer kissing scene sound that tempting, but we all know the Academy will still like it. And, well, also us. If things don’t work out, there’s always Leo’s turn as Jay Gatsby in The Great Gatsby next year. If he doesn’t take home a statuette for one of those, he’s going to pull a Nic Cage and just give up.
