We Want More Of Katherine Heigl’s, Anderson Cooper’s Child Modeling Pics!

This may sound suuuuper creepy, we are aware. But after seeing an excerpt of Katherine Heigl and Anderson Cooper reminisce about their days as child models for Macy’s and Sears catalogs in an interview airing on Anderson tonight, we are dying to see more. Especially after Anderson imitated the cool-guy point that boys were always instructed to do. Adorbs. Katherine continued to model, even as her acting career started to take off when she was 15, so we’ve found a few fansites with scans of her magazine spreads in Seventeen and the like. But Anderson seems to have kept his pics under wraps, revealing them only to benefit his own show. Well, Mr. Silver Fox, since we so amused you with our Courtney Stodden interview, would you so kindly return the favor and share more from your … less-silver days?

15 Jersey Characters We Hope Katherine Heigl Studied For One For The Money

One For The Money starring Katherine Heigl opens wide today, and it shows her in a way we aren’t used to seeing her. No, we don’t just mean “brunette.” The film is based on the best-selling novel about Stephanie Plum, a down-on-her-luck lady from New Jersey who turns to bounty hunting to make some cash. The tough-as-nails Jersey girl part seems a bit of a stretch for Heigl. So let’s hope she researched by watching some other classic characters hailing from the great Garden State. Katherine Heigl Is Movie Star Glam, Even With Her Funny Red Carpet Faces

Katherine Heigl really brought it to the red carpet of her new movie One For The Money. The premiere took place last night in New York and she swanned in looking completely glamorous in a fire engine red Herve L. Leroux dress accessorized with Jimmy Choo heels and a Ferragamo clutch. She, of course, couldn’t resist the slightly insane red carpet faces, being Katherine Heigl, but even that didn’t take away from how great she looked. The one-shouldered crimson number is reminiscent of the gorgeous red Escada gown the actress wore to the 2008 Oscars. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it — works for us.

Lea Michele Sparkles, Stars Shine On New Year’s Eve Red Carpet

Lea Michele nailed it at the world premiere of New Year’s Eve in L.A. She picked this Valentino gown with Christian Louboutin shoes and Neil Lane jewels and hasn’t made one bad decision from head to toe. While she looked elegant, she couldn’t resist hamming it up with Ashton Kutcher (who really needs a haircut) on the red carpet, as you can see above. Looking a lot more streamlined in his suit was Zac Efron, who doesn’t seem to have a bad angle.

We’ve always loved Michelle Pfeiffer whose 53-year-old body looked amazing in a purple Dolce & Gabbana dress, but we aren’t too sure of the matchy-matchy purple pumps that went with the outfit. Wearing the same designer was Katherine Heigl, and while she looked good in her strapless dress, that hair took the attention away. We’re not sure many people can pull off a bouffant bob. Take note, Katy. Also seen were Hilary Swank in a navy, lacy Elie Saab dress, Fergie who piled on the sparkles in Monique Lhuillier and Sofia Vergara in a corseted black sexpot number. Katherine Heigl To Switch Gears For Psychological Thriller

Fans of Katherine Heigl’s early days as Izzie on Grey’s Anatomy (like, when she was a smartmouthed doctor, before she got cancer and started hallucinating sex with her dead boyfriend) and even earlier days as an alien on Roswell, have no doubt been hoping she can dig herself out of the romantic comedy hole she’s dug herself in recent years. And at last, after this months’ New Year’s Eve and next month’s One for the Money, she’s taking a giant leap out of that hole. Today, TheFABlife has learned that she’s attached to star as a forensic psychiatrist in Kill Switch, the movie adaptation of the psychological thriller by former Law & Order: SVU exec producer Neal Baer and co-exec Jonathan Greene.

The book, which doesn’t come out until next week, is the first in a series about psychiatrist Claire Waters, who has a knack for getting people to confide in her, even the most cold-hearted criminals. The first novel brings Claire to the psychiatric wing of Rikers Island, where she meets “deranged” inmate Quimby, whose abusive history makes Claire start to reveal her own painful secrets. Kevin McCormick (whose resume ranges from Saturday Night Fever to Arthur) is producing the flick along with Katherine and her mother, Nancy Heigl. Best of all, it doesn’t sound like there’s a wedding dress or an accidental pregnancy in sight!

AMAs Best Fashions: From Retro Jenny McCarthy To Futuristic Justin Bieber

Because of their convenient timing, the American Music Awards are the perfect opportunity for the country’s biggest music stars to plug their fall releases as awesome gifts for the holidays. And last night, some of those stars were wrapped up as perfect gifts for our eyes. The style theme of the evening swung back and forth from playfully retro — Katy Perry, Karmin‘s Amy Heidemann and Jenny McCarthy — to starship-ready futuristic — Nicki Minaj, Heidi Klum, Justin Bieber (though his leather number was kind of future-by-way-of-Michael-Jackson’s-Captain-Eo).

While we were dazzled by the choices of Nicki (she’s here twice!), Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Katherine Heigl, we also suffered a bit of whiplash from some looks: Jennifer Lopez‘s many costume changes landed her on our best, worst and questionable lists. Justin Bieber and Katy Perry also straddle the best and questionable lists. Stay tuned for more photos and opinions from last night’s show.

Full New Year’s Eve Trailer Looks Like A Bon Jovi-Slapping Good Time

Like we’re going to pretend we didn’t enjoy seeing Katherine Heigl slap Jon Bon Jovi in the full New Year’s Eve trailer. You know we’re not made of stone. While the movie is still overstuffed with celebrities from Ashton Kutcher to Zac Efron, and Michelle Pfeiffer‘s wig still looks like it crawled out of a drainage ditch behind the mop factory, it’s hard not to like a film that’s basically 90 minutes of witty banter leading up to a bunch of A-lister smooching and falling in love. Count us in! Oh, except for the part when Abigail Breslin shows off her brasserie to her horrified mother Sarah Jessica Parker for no apparent reason. What was that about? Girl child is 15!

Katherine Heigl Grabs Gun, Goes Jersey In One For The Money Trailer

Wow, is the dye job, Jersey accent and handgun worn by Katherine Heigl in the One For The Money trailer all it takes for us to forgive her of her movie sins (a.k.a. The Ugly Truth)? The film, due out in January 27, 2012, features the New Year’s Eve star as a Jersey bounty hunter and we find her way more appealing here than in her usual high-strung blond roles. We feel like we’re back in that honeymoon period right after we saw Knocked Up and before we saw, well, any of the rest of her movies.

Now, sure, we’ve all seen Katherine Heigl misfire a gun and/or fall down in front of her crush before (Killers, Life as We Know It, um, the rest of them) but for some reason a Jersey accent just makes it all less grating rather than more. Did we just uncover the secret behind why everyone (i.e. us) loves Jersey Shore? Let’s not forget Heigl’s dinner-shooting grandma, though. It’s hard to not to win us over if you’re sitting next to an elderly woman who accidentally puts a bullet into a roast chicken. If only Abduction had included a wacky gun-tottin’ grandma scene, Taylor Lautner might be singing a different tune right now.

Whatever it is that Katherine Heigl is eating, can we have a piece, because it looks like she’s rolling her eyes back in ecstasy! What are you guys serving at Little Dom’s? Look, we understand we give K to the H a bit of flack, but she has the most animated face we’ve ever seen coming out of movieland. See, we used the word “animated”! That’s polite for us. But it’s true, Katherine’s face is all over the place in real life, and not just in her movies. We even made a gallery of Katherine crazy-face (photos) to prove our point. And now we can add Kathy-at-lunch to the lot. She has awesome skin, though.
