Elizabeth Hurley reaffirmed her lack of modesty at last night’s Love Ball, wearing a sheer sari that only hid one of her nipples from the countless cameras. The outrageous affair, part of London’s Fashion Week, hit an absurd peak when a fire alarm forced the attendees—including Kate Moss and Leona Lewis—to stand outside for an hour and a half. Kate Moss couldn’t control her emotions yesterday in London during a fashion show to benefit Haiti, openly weeping as designs by her good friend Alexander McQueen walked down the runway. At the Fashion For Relief Haiti charity event put together by model Naomi Campbell, designer clothing was modeled and auctioned off to aid people affected by the earthquake. Earlier in the evening, Kate modeled a McQueen dress from his final collection, but when she saw some of his other designs pass by, she broke down and was consoled by friend and fellow model Annabelle Nielson. Moss was one of McQueen’s closest friends and was devastated by his untimely death. Fashion designer Alexander McQueen, beloved by such celebs as Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Moss, has committed suicide in London. The 40-year-old fashion icon was found dead in his London apartment, where it appears that he hung himself. A rep for his company confirmed the death, saying “‘It is a tragic loss. We are not making a comment at this time out of respect for the McQueen family.”

McQueen appeared to be grief-stricken recently after losing his mother just a week ago and had posted several emotional messages on his (now-defunct) Twitter page in the past few days.

As a designer he was occasionally shocking, dark and always unconventional but he was beloved in the fashion community and and named British Designer of the Year four times. He was a designer for Givenchy and Gucci, as well as running his own label, and opened several boutiques in the past three years. His death will cast a shadow over the upcoming Fashion Week activities in London and Paris. No doubt the fashion world will honor the man and his talent there and mourn his tragic passing. Kate Moss has led a relatively tame personal life since breaking up with drug-addled bad boy Pete Doherty. She has quietly been dating musician Jamie Hince for the past two years and now sources are claiming the pair is engaged.

Moss turned 36 this past weekend, and a friend tells the New York Daily News that Hince flew to meet her in Mustique, where she was working, to surprise her with an engagement ring. “It was the first time they had been alone together in quite a while and it was extremely emotional. Kate and Jamie are in a very good place, they already live together and this is the next step to settling down for good,” the friend told the paper. In addition to Doherty, Moss has previously dated Johnny Depp and journalist Jefferson Hack (who is father to Kate’s 7-year-old daughter Lila Grace). If we were friends with Kate and Jamie, we’d surely buy them a celebratory pack of smokes, the one accessory neither is ever without.

Mirror, mirror on the wall which celebrity has the most desirable body of them all? 2009 was all about the curves! In a recent poll, Kate Winslet was named as the most desirable, while curvy stars Halle Berry, Cheryl Cole, Beyonce and Lily Allen made the cut. Bringing up the rear were teeny tiny celebs Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss.

Dr. Jacquie Lavin, who commissioned the YouGov poll, says, “It shows a positive shift that women are more likely to see Kate Winslet and Kelly Brook as the ideal body shape rather than Kate Moss or Victoria Beckham.”

When we were eight, we remember our birthday party involved some rollerskates, friends round for cake and crisps and a whole lot of face-painting. But if your mum’s Kate Moss, then you can expect something far more, um “suitable”. Kate’s daughter Lila Grace went to the 8^th birthday party of Jude Law and Sadie Frost’s daughter Iris, where the pre-pre-teens reportedly put on their very own modeling show, trained courtesy of supermodel Moss.

“She brought along lots of clothes for them and the girls had their hair and make-up done especially. Kate also presided over all of the accessories to make them look as catwalk-ready as possible. She was teaching them how to master her famous hip swagger and her ‘I don’t care’ look. It went down so well that Iris and Lila Grace now both want to be models like Kate,” reports the Evening Standard.

Seriously, who is it? Apparently a perfect likeness, this waxwork model was unveiled at London’s Madame Tussauds, and we think we might have been able to do better ourselves with a  lump of playdough and a Topshop bag. Find out after the jump!

An even better add-on to the news yesterday that Kate Moss got nasty with a column at the GQ awards in London, is that she stormed off in a huff from the event halfway through the evening. The model took offense at a joke about her was cracked by the host of the evening, Irish actor James Nesbitt. Caught on camera ranting, “He’s so f—ing rude, I’m never coming here again,” Kate dragged manslave boyfriend Jamie Hince through the back stairwell of the Royal Opera House, interrupting an interview with British rap star Dizzee Rascal in the process.
