Is That Kate Moss … Or Ziggy Stardust?

Vogue France has gone completely retro with the December-January cover. That’s Kate Moss totally channeling Ziggy Stardust, and she’s spot on, especially when you compare her with David Bowie as Ziggy. This isn’t the first time Kate’s — who is a hug fan of the singer’s — done a cover as Bowie. She was on the cover styled as Bowie’s Aladdin Sane in the May 2003 Vogue UK issue.

British Fashion Awards: Kate Moss Vs Victoria Beckham Vs Kate Hudson

The British Fashion Awards took place last night at the Savoy Hotel in London. Victoria Beckham won the Designer Brand of the Year, which she accepted wearing her own design (for a full list of winner click here). Vicky looked fab and slightly goth in a black cowl-necked, floor-length gown with a sharp pleated skirt and daringly low plunging back. She got really emotional accepting the award and even teared up while saying, “I’m so sorry for crying. I’m being so rubbish.”

Kate Moss went the quirky route, wearing a bizarre fishnet body-stocking gown that was so absurd, it actually worked. Kate Hudson also added some Hollywood glamor with a cut-out Stella McCartney gown. All three looked hot, but not in your regular, cookie-cutter way. So, who do you feel was best dressed? Dakota Fanning’s Marc Jacobs Spot Joins The Long History Of Controversial Ads

Dakota Fanning’s banned Marc Jacobs ad was deemed too saucy for the good people of Britain early today, though so far the spot is considered safe for American eyes. Despite what you might think about the advert itself, Dakota (and Jacobs) certainly aren’t the first people to come up with a controversial campaign that had people gasping…or cringing…or just rolling their eyes. From the extremely sexual to the merely gross to the extremely sexual and gross, and starring celebs like Pamela Anderson, Keira Knightley and Jessica Alba, controversial ads are as common as, well, controversial ads getting banned. Paul McCartney Is Married!

Congratulations, Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell! The former Beatle and the New York businesswoman got married yesterday afternoon at Old Marylebone Town Hall in London. Paul was obviously in a jovial mood as he left their home for the venue, joking with all the photographers assembled outside, saying, “What’s going on? What are you all doing here?” Paul and Nancy have been dating since 2007 and he popped the question earlier this year in May.

Nancy wore an ivory dress and shoes by Paul’s daughter, fashion designer Stella McCartney, who also made the navy suit her Dad wore on the day. A reception was also held at the new couple’s home at St Johns Woods afterwards. How many famous faces attended? Plenty, as expected. Kate Moss Makes A Rare Runway Appearance

She’s back! Kate Moss closed — and totally stole — the show for Louis Vuitton’s spring-summer collection in Paris yesterday. Love or hate her, you have to admit her presence on the runway adds that little something extra. Kate’s totally become more of front-row gal more than just your regular supermodel, so this appearance is indeed rare. The fact that her close pal Marc Jacobs designed the collection probably sealed the deal. Kate actually asked to be a part of it, as Marc explained, “She asked to be in the show and she’s a very dear friend so…happy to oblige”

Considering Kate just got married in July made the outfit she wore on the runway even more poignant. She looked like a demure, mod ’60s couturier’s bridal dream in a white laser-cut feather dress with a gorgeous bell skirt! That’s how it’s done, ladies and gents.

Kristen Stewart Sports A Darker ‘Do At London Fashion Show

Kristen Stewart took some time off from filming Snow White and the Huntsman to step out at the Mulberry 2012 fashion show in London last night. In typical K-Stew style, she switched her attire from a sexy short skirt to an autumnal woolen cardie as the show went on. But the biggest change was her long dark tresses, which seemed dyed from her usual chestnut brown to jet black. Very goth! Or at least as goth as someone can look while standing next to a giant ice cream cone and watermelon beach balls. Regardless, we’re diggin’ the new ‘do. Kate Moss Does The Cover Of Vogue Right In McQueen

Please give a listen to a little Montell Jordan while viewing this amazing shot of Kate Moss on the cover of Vogue‘s September issue. Because this, my friends, is HOW YOU DO IT. Mario Testino shot the iconic British super-super-model, who perches delicately yet confidently in Alexander McQueen. Inside is a massive spread filled with pics from her bo-ho-y wedding to Jamie Hince, which included tee-pees, fifteen bridesmaids and one smiling Paul McCartney. Yep, exactly like our wedding.

Kate Moss Marries The Kills’ Jamie Hince

Apparently supermodel Kate Moss’s wedding has been dubbed “Mossstock” by the British press and after seeing how gorgeous she looks in her dress, we feel the need to dance barefoot on a filthy hillside for three days, too. For her wedding to rocker Jamie Hince, Kate Moss’s wedding dress was a vintage-inspired, gold-embellished gown designed by former Dior designer John Galliano, as well as an engagement ring inspired by one owned by Zelda Fitzgerald, because Ms. Moss isn’t buying any old rock at Zales.

Kate will also wear a host of Stella McCartney pieces over the course of her wedding weekend, including a silk first-dance dress with a cut-out back, a short party dress and a wool going-away suit for after tonight’s reception. Sadly her new husband’s Yves Saint Laurent suit couldn’t go away (those horrifying buttons!), but like everything else at Moss’s wedding, if you’re going to have “something blue,” you might as well go big or go home.

Secret Lady Gaga Gig Brings Out UK Sex Goddesses Past

It takes a little humility to be a famous woman at a private Lady Gaga concert—it’s like admitting you want to be a part of the new Queen’s court. So give Gaga points for getting not just Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell but Kate Moss to show up at last night’s acoustic gig at the club Annabel’s, which reportedly held only 150 people. UK comedian Stephen Fry, Will.I.Am and singer Florence Welch were also in attendance, with Lily Allen tweeting her frustration about not being able to attend.

With this kind of stunningly select audience, it’s only right that Gaga would show up wearing see-through body stockings, panties, boob tape, and a giant green veil/tarp for modesty. See photos of everyone’s outfits in the gallery below.

Kate Moss’s Secret Engagement Turned Into A Secret Wedding (Or Did It?)

Kate Moss and Jamie Hince quietly got engaged in January, and got married even more quietly this summer. (Looks like David Schwimmer‘s not the only one who can have a secret celebrity wedding!)

The Mirror reports that the nuptials took place back on August 7, 2010 in a remote town in Sicily. Moss and Hince kept things off the radar, and a source said “Kate wanted the day to be low-key and purely a celebration of their love.” We’re happy for the couple, and even happier that Moss seems to have moved well past her ex, Pete Doherty, who looks blitzed out of his gourd every second of the day.

UPDATE: We should know better than to put all our faith in a tabloid, but in this case, it’s one source vs. another. While The Mirror claims Moss is married, the Telegraph has a denial from one of Moss’s employees who claims that while the couple did vacation in Sicily over the summer, a wedding was not part of the agenda. The source said she is “definitely not married” and “any implication she is… is factually incorrect.”
