Huge congratulations out to Ne-Yo! His fiancée Monyetta Shaw just gave birth to their second baby on Monday! The gender and name of the child haven’t been released yet, but then again, we just found out about his/her imminent arrival — and of Ne-Yo’s asking Monyetta to marry him — just last month! Baby no. 2 comes just under a year after the birth of the couple’s daughter, Madilyn Grace. This is such wonderful news! Mazel tov, you guys! We can’t wait to hear more details.

Last year in November we wrote a post congratulating Ne-Yo and his girlfriend Monyetta Shaw on the birth of their baby girl, Madilyn Grace. We are so stoked to be doing the same thing for similar reasons less than a year later. Ne-Yo and Monyetta are engaged and expecting a second child together! Their baby is due next month. We love Ne-Yo and are wishing him and his wife-to-be all the luck in the world!

Despite initial reports that her pregnancy wouldn’t stop her from Moonwalking, Beyonce has apparently pulled out of the high profile Michael Jackson tribute concert this October. Bebe was supposed to have her spot beamed in live via satellite to the concert arena in Cardiff, Wales, but a source tells RadarOnline that this is sadly no longer the case. Instead she will be offering up a ”a special contribution on video.” No word yet on why the singer had to take a downgrade, but we’re guessing it’s pregnancy related. But fans who already have tickets to the sold out gig probably aren’t too bummed. They still have performances from Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Gladys Knight, Ne-Yo and Smokey Robinson to look forward to!

Before we can say anything else, how about Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose getting frisky on the green carpet, huh? The 2011 BET Awards took place at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A last night and the duo looked quite happy wrapped around each other! We’re also loving the Dolce & Gabbana blazer and pants combination Alicia Keys wore to the event and Kerry Washington has our vote with that acidic Michael Kors gown. We also totally expected Nicki Minaj to bring on some full-on cray-cray but it was a half-hearted commitment. We think she actually looked quite pretty in the textured pink dress-tight-boots outfit she was working.
If you want the list of winners, click here, but hint hint: Chris Brown and Busta Rhymes are in there. Also spotted were folks like Nelly, Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott (love her) and the Smith kids — Jaden and Willow. Of course, Willow’s pal Justin Bieber was there too. Was there any ground breaking fashion? No, but everyone looked really comfortable which is quite a change! Having said that, we would like to forget all about Amber Rose’s shredded catsuit forever. Is it just us, or was the 2011 Billboard Music Awards red white carpet dull? The press room and the stage (obviously) had way more action! As far as we’re concerned, the carpet was all about Nicki Minaj‘s pink hair versus Rihanna‘s red! We love both, but we’re handing this one to Ri-Ri who was super streamlined in a spotless white suit. Gorgeous! We’re not going to get into Nicki’s powder blue whatchamaycallit of an outfit, or Ke$ha‘s, for that matter. We can’t make sense of either!
We’d also like to point out how our little sweetheart Selena Gomez—who shared a kiss with BF Justin Bieber later—seems to slipping in more and more skin every time we see her. Little by little, so people don’t freak out! Crafty… but we’re on to you, Gomez! She and Nicole Kidman had a particularly sweet red carpet photo op that you can see in our gallery below. Nas, Ne-Yo and Mary J. Blige in all her leonine glory all added a touch of glamor, but just not enough. Do you agree with us? Sound off in the comments section below!

Considering how often Michelle Rodriguez is spotted wearing black pants and a leather jacket, we were pretty surprised to see her wearing a long, lopsided gown at the premiere of Battle: Los Angeles in Westwood, CA last night. Not that she’s giving up her usual ensemble—she wore it at a Miami screening Monday and changed into her civvies before DJing the premiere’s afterparty last night. Judging from her mugging on the carpet, she was well aware of how rarely she goes from something so grand. Do you think she pulled it off?

Next year., Ne-Yo will go from murdering tracks in stylish attire to murdering people in stylish attire. People reports that the dapper singer will play an assassin in a February ’11 episode of CSI:NY. “Ne-Yo will be playing a professional hit man who doesn’t fit the usual image of a hired killer,” says a P.R. lackey. “This guy carries himself with elegant style but a violent efficiency.” Ne-Yo previously flexed his acting muscles in Stomp The Yard, and is cast in next year’s Battle: Los Angeles movie (you know if you’ve seen the trailer because it probably made you crap your pants).
CSI to the contrary, isn’t “elegant hitman” kind of a cliche? We just saw Faster and the only good part was this crazy, stylish web kazillionaire Brit who became a hitman to while away the hours between bouts of awesome sex and yoga sessions. And who could forget Clive Owen in that first Bourne movie? Jason Statham, anyone? For a real stretch, maybe Ne-Yo could play a finely-tailored student teacher on Glee. Or a genteel neighbor on $#*! My Dad Says.

Congratulations New-Dad Ne-Yo! The singer just had a baby girl, Madilyn Grace, with his girlfriend Monyetta Shaw on Friday. He could barely control his excitement over Twitter, writing, “Much luv to my twit fam and everybody showin’ luv to my new addition!! She’s healthy and happy. Feels like I’m in luv for the first time.” Little Madilyn Grace made quite an entrance too, turning up six weeks before she was expected. Monyetta went into labor while Ne-Yo was at a charity event for his foundation, and he had to book it to the hospital. Baby, Mom and Dad are all fine
The following day, Ne-Yo also tweeted, “Welcoming that lil’ girl to the world last night defined for me what “willing to kill and die for” truly means. My world, my life,all hers.” Awwww. From Sexy Love straight to Baby Love.
