Supermodel Alert: The 2011 Victoria’s Secret Show Mega Gallery

There’s not much we can really say with this post because it’s all about the visuals. The 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show took place yesterday at the Lexington Avenue Armory in New York, and all our favorite models, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima and Miranda Kerr strutted their stuff. We did miss seeing Heidi Klum, who retired as a Victoria’s Secret Angel last year. The music performances took it up a notch too — that’s if a Victoria’s Secret show can ever be taken up a notch? Jay-Z and Kanye West doubled up on stage and performed “Stronger” together. Adam Levine and Maroon 5 also performed, and Levine cozied up to model and girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna while singing “Moves Like Jagger.” You couldn’t miss Nicki Minaj either, with her frothy pink wig and day-glo clothing.

But we’re keeping you from the pictures, and for that we apologize. Knock yourselves out, guys. It’s all in there!

Russell Simmons Offered To Pay For Occupy Wall Street Clean Up

If only every group of protesters had their own incredibly wealthy rap mogul behind them, we could probably sort out societal problems a lot quicker. As you might have seen on the TV or the Interwebs, Russell Simmons has become something of a fixture at New York’s Occupy Wall Street protest, so much so that he offered to clean an entire park out of his own (bulging) pocket rather than see protesters get kicked out for a cleaning. “Dear @MikeBloomberg — I will pay for clean-up of Zuccotti Park to avoid confrontation. I don’t wanna go to jail but I will be there ready!,” Russell tweeted. Luckily we all know that millionaires don’t go to jail, so…your move, city officials!

While New York’s Mayor Bloomberg probably could have really used the money (couldn’t we all?), in the end the owners of the park called off the cleaning, leaving Russell free to continue his frequent, Kanye West-filled visits down town. Maybe now Russell and Kanye can pool all their money to hose down the entire banking system? Or even just some other, filthier park?

Kanye Stops By Occupy Wall Street, Shops With Babyonce

Ah, the eternal conundrum that is Kanye West! Dripping with gold chains, Kanye visited Occupy Wall Street with Russell Simmons in New York today, taking a break from shopping with Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Babyonce at Intermix to do so. Or maybe Kanye took a break from protesting to go shopping. It’s that optical illusion of the old woman or the young girl; in reality, both answers are correct.

“I just walked @kanyewest thru the #occupywallstreet. I love how sweet and tolerant he was to the crowd,” Russell tweeted, which we assume means Kanye didn’t yank a megaphone out of anyone’s hand to explain how he’ll let Anonymous finish, but the Tiananmen Square protest of 1989 was the one of the best protests of all time. Of all time!

Kanye West Is Modelizing Again!

What’s going down, guys? Kanye West and Chanel Iman were spotted making their grand entre together at the Givenchy after party post the brand’s Spring-Summer 2012 Ready To Wear Show. The two strolled into L’ARC nightclub to party the night away. And from the looks of the picture above they looked quite comfortable in each other’s company. That’s one seriously possessive arm, Kanye! So is this the start of something new? Or shall we just called it strategic partnering? What say you?

Justin Bieber Wants To Be Married By 25, And Will Probably Steal His Wife’s Jeans

And now a lil’ somethin’ for all the ladies…particularly those in middle school. Are you dreaming of settling down someday with your one and only true love, Justin Bieber? Well get a move on, because you’ve only got eight years to lock that dude down! The Biebs has just told Women’s Wear Daily that he hopes to be married by the age of twenty-five. So start saving up for that engagement ring!

When asked what he saw for himself in five years, the seventeen year old singer gave a surprisingly mature answer. “Well, by twenty-five or twenty-six, I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family,” he told the magazine. “I want to be a young dad. I want to be able to have done what I wanted to do; to be successful, to do a movie or whatever. But if the time is right, I definitely want to be married by twenty-five.” Before Biebs gets buried under an avalanche marriage proposals, we should say that this is probably not the best time to bring up the subject. “I’m not looking to get married right now,” he clarified. So there’s no need to lay the smack down on his current girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

But there might be a downside to being the future Mrs. Bieber: you may have to worry about him stealing your clothes! At Dolce & Gabbana’s Fashion Night Out, Bieber told Life & Style magazine about how he gets into women’s pants (no, not like that). “I’ve worn women’s jeans before because they fit me,” he says. “It’s not a trend; it’s just, whatever works, works.” He cites his buddy Kanye West as his style inspiration, and when the rapper recently wore a woman’s sweater, Justin took note. “It wasn’t [so he'd] look like a woman in a sweater; it was just a regular sweater that happened to be a woman’s.” We’re diggin the confidence, Biebs! Just get ready to be buried under a mountain of jeans from female fans.

Kanye West Wants To Be Godfather To Beyonce and Jay-Z’s Baby

Here comes Uncle Yeezy! On the heels of Beyonce’s big announcement that she’s expecting her first child, family friend Kanye West has been almost as pumped as daddy Jay-Z. In fact, Kanye’s apparently telling friends that he’d like to be godfather. Maybe they misheard him saying that he’d “like to be God.” That seems way more his style. Otherwise, we’re not totally sure how to deal with this unexpectedly tender and cute side of ‘Ye. “He’s been saying he’s going to be godfather and is absolutely thrilled,” a source told Britain’s Sun newspaper. “It will be a huge honor for him.” He’d probably throw a pretty bomb christening party (Code-named: “Watch The Highchair”). Maybe they’ll dip the baby in Cristal. We’ll have to wait until February to see!

Jay-Z And Kanye West Might Face Legal Action Over Watch The Throne Sample

Everyone knows how vital a superior sample is to a great song (See Also: almost every song made in the past 10 years), but in case you’ve forgotten, let a possible Jay-Z and Kanye West lawsuit over Watch The Throne refresh your memory. Soul singer Syl Johnson is allegedly planning to go after Hova and Weezy for using a sample of his song “Different Strokes” in the song “The Joy” without his permission or, more importantly, a paycheck. Reportedly Kanye West had been in talks to use part of the song for his last album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, but a deal couldn’t be reached. Seeing as how talks weren’t resumed for Watch The Throne, apparently two hyper-famous millionaires just thought no one would notice if they sprinkled a little bit of the tune on their new album. Shockingly, someone did.

Following the release of Watch the Throne, archival label Numero Group was also surprised to find their names attached to it in conjuncture with “Different Strokes,” writing on their blog yesterday, “Late last night, we received a phone call from Syl—who was nearly in tears—asking if we knew why The Numero Group appeared in the credits to a new Kanye West/Jay Z album called Watch The Throne. We had no idea.” The post ends with the promise: “Island Def Jam seems to think that Syl doesn’t have any fight left in him. We’re betting otherwise.” We’d be fighting to have our name recognized too, Syl; do you hear how good “The Joy” is?

Kanye West Eats It Hard On Stage

We know it’s just the timing of the chorus, but it sort of looks like the crowd loses their minds after Kanye West’s concert fall, which has the Watch The Throne rapper watching his feet sail toward the ceiling. And that sad little half-roll! We almost started screaming and dancing too, not because we don’t love Kanye, but because we love performers falling in concert. If more artists fell during their concerts, we’d be more inclined to pay crazy ticket prices.

Yeezy shouldn’t feel too bad, however. He joins a long line of performs, like Lady Gaga and Beyonce, who tripped, got back up and kept killing it. Plus you know Kanye’s just going to play it off like he did it on purpose, so let’s all just smile and nod along so he won’t be humiliated.

Return Of The Kanye Rant: “People Look At Me Like I’m Hitler”

After a spell of acting like a subdued elder statesman of the rap game, the Kanye West we know and love returned with another bizarre (and bigheaded) outburst that may cause you to face-palm yourself in confusion. Being anything but chill while performing at the Big Chill music festival in England, he ranted:

“I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street, and people look at me like I’m f–king insane, like I’m Hitler. One day the light will shine through and one day people will understand everything I ever did.”

The crowd booed (he also began his set a half hour late), but Air Yeezy went on to say he wished to be remembered as the Air Jordan of the music world, not Hitler.

Bieber Wants You To Lay Off Kanye

Kanye West is known just as much for pissing people off as he is for his hot tracks. Between the Taylor Swift debacle and hating on George W. Bush, he is pretty much the mouth that launched a thousand memes. But now ‘Ye has found forgiveness and absolution from the Canadian Messiah himself, Justin Bieber. The teen titan defends the controversial rapper in the latest issue of XXL Magazine. Well ok, “defends” is a bit strong. But he says Kanye “isn’t really an a–hole,” and we’ll take what we can get.

“I got to be in the studio with him and work with him and see how he works and talk to him—and talk to him as a friend, and not like someone [in the] business,” says the Biebs. “He’s not really an a–hole like everyone makes him out to be. I mean, he can do bad things, but he’s really generally a good guy. He can make bad decisions, you know, as well as everyone can. But generally I think he is a good guy.” The two started a Twitter bromance last year with a series of flattering tweets, before recording a remix of Kanye’s ”Runaway Love.” No word yet if Yeezy is receiving threats from jealous Belieber tweens who claim Justin as their own. Watch your back, Kanye!
