Gwen Stefani And Gavin Rossdale: A Love Timeline Amid Split Rumors

We’re pretty much refusing to believe Star magazine’s report that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s marriage is on the rocks — partly because our hearts can’t take any more celebrity divorces, partly because we haven’t seen any other corroboration. GossipCop says a source close to the couple calls the rumor completely false. But after Demi and Ashton, Katy and Russell, Heidi and Seal — need we go on? — we’re just a little gun-shy. So, don your rose-colored glasses with us and review the timeline of this match made in ’90s rocker heaven.

1995: Gwen and Gavin meet when No Doubt and Bush tour together (with the Goo Goo Dolls! Oh, the ’90s). Gavin described their first date to Details: “I threw a party in New Orleans just as an excuse to hang out with her. We drank a bunch of hurricanes and went around the French Quarter. We had our first kiss that night, just walking around, being careful to step over the puddles of pee. The next day we had that sort of cute, embarrassed, sober meet-up.”

2002: Gavin and Gwen get married.

The 30 Cutest Couples Of 2011 *That Aren’t Robsten

We’re gonna level with you, dear readers. Here at the FABLife, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will get our vote for the cutest couple every year until the end of time. That’s just the way it goes! So, to make it fair for all of the other adorable love birds out there, we’ve taken them out of the competition. But we’ve made Robsten the gold standard by which we measure and rank the rest of the sweethearts! So please Twihards, don’t send us angry letters.

Sure, 2011 was largely seen as the Year of the Breakup. That doesn’t mean love didn’t flourish! We’ve asked stars who they think should earn the title of “Cutest Couple 2k11,” and their answers ranged from the predicable, to the, err … not so predictable. Tehmina Sunny and Amadou Ly both share our Robsten 4Lyfe sentiments, whereas David Cook and Chelsea Rendon were more Selena Gomez/Justin Bieber people. Roots drummer Questlove was pumped that puppet pals Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy got back together in the Muppets reboot, while Robin Thicke felt that Charlie Sheen and his nose candy made the perfect duo. Angelina Jolie And Gwen Stefani For In The Land Of Blood And Honey

Normally, seeing Angelina Jolie and Gwen Stefani on the same red carpet would cause a fair amount of WTF. In this case, it was the Hollywood premiere for In The Land of Blood and Honey, which Jolie directed. The two seem so different, in every way, but now that we know that Angie and Gwen are friends, and that their kids hang out together, this isn’t coming out of left field anymore. But even though the two A-list pals are close, their sartorial choices have remained at opposite ends of the style spectrum. Angelina pulled out the stops in this navy blue Romona Keveza dress with Jimmy Choo heels. Gwen also dressed up to support her friend, only in her usual quirky way, wearing an unusual patterned white jumpsuit. We may not be totally on board with it, but you can’t deny that she pulls it off.

Let’s All Dress Like Kingston Rossdale From Now On

Can we be friends with Kingston Rossdale, please? Mom Gwen Stefani may have picked his clothes out initially, but we have a feeling he’d doing his wardrobe all by himself now. Mr. Kingston accompanied his mum and dad, Gavin Rossdale, to his grandparents house for Thanksgiving in L.A. yesterday. And he wore this dapper bowtie and blazer combination for the occasion. If his grandpa and grandma didn’t melt looking at him, then we’ll do it for them.

This Weekend’s Top 10 Celebrity Halloween Costumes

Of course, celebs like to play dress-up all year long, but this Halloween weekend provided a bonanza of crazy pics of famous people. Nicole Richie was one of our favorites. She was a dead ringer for Jennifer Lopez, even tweeting “My love don’t cost a thing,” along with a picture of her dressed in a pink velour tracksuit. She was heading to Kate Hudson‘s annual Halloween bash, as was Gwen Stefani, who was a picture perfect Cinderella. Heidi Klum freaked the hell out of us at her annual Halloween Party at Tao Nightclub. She came dressed as a corpse, complete with being wheeled in on a gurney. Ice-T and Coco are obvious picks too. We don’t what the hell Coco was dressed as as usual — there wasn’t enough fabric on her to tell — but Ice-T was Hannibal Lecter. Kim Kardashian made a pretty sexy and convincing Poison Ivy while hosting the Midori Melon Green Halloween bash at Lavo. You clearly can’t wrap a white sheet around yourself and pass off as a ghost anymore. (VH1 Blog has your fave VH1 stars in costume too!)

Gwen Stefani Shows Off Her Abs (And Family) At The Beach

While we on the East Coast were getting pummeled into submission by mother nature, Gwen Stefani took advantage of the beautiful California weather this weekend visited the beach with her family. And of course for us, that translates to one thing: bikini pics. The 41-year old rocker and mother of two (!) showed off her fantastic and flawless abs in a tiny bikini top while holding hands with husband Gavin Rossdale. And of course her cuties Kingston and Zuma Rossdale were on hand to pump up the adorability factor. Too bad Gavin brought it right back down again with his Steven Seagal ponytail. Gwen & Gavin Show Up For Brangelina’s Tree Of Life Premiere

It’s a shame Scarlett Johansson didn’t show up to support Sean Penn at the Tree Of Life premiere today at Cannes—then we would have had three Hollywood power couples on display! With the amped-up Terrence Malick booers sated by this morning’s screening, hopefully tonight’s viewing will be a little less intense. On top of the expected appearance of star Brad Pitt (trading the morning’s turtle-shell shades for a darker pair) and Angelina Jolie—banging in a giant Versace gown—Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale also walked the red carpet. While we can’t say we’re in love with Gwen’s sparkly, lowwwwwwww-cut pantsuit, we understand the pressure any lady that steps on Angelina’s red carpet must be under. Gavin’s blue suit certainly looks submissive to Brad’s tux.
