Rihanna, Ke$ha Rock That Cave Lady Fashion

Between Rihanna slipping into a pelt while leaving Nozomi in London, Ke$ha sporting a white fur to attend Terry Richardson‘s gallery opening in New York and Kelly Rowland wearing all those…creatures while visiting The X-Factor studios, we’d say it’s official: gigantic fur vests mean cave lady fashion is in for Fall/Winter 2011 in a mammoth way. Speaking of mammoths, these lovely ladies and their extremely warm torsos aren’t the only celebs who look like they should be accessorizing with a a club, Fred Flintstone-style. Celebrities Roll In For The Hangover Part II Screening And After-Party

They all came in droves to watch the The Hangover Part II! And by “they” we mean every type of celebrity. The supermodels showed up—Selita Ebanks and Alessandra Ambrosio. The fashion designer showed up—Calvin Klein. Even figure skater Johnny Weir turned up! The screening was held at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City, with an after party at The Top of The Standard.

The cast—Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianaki —held court with director, Todd Phillips. They were probably quite pleased with the mixed bag crowd who showed up, including the likes of Zach Braff, James van der Beek, Ciara, Ivanka Trump and Russell Simmons. We’ve grown to expect celebs to take fashion risks at the Grammy Awards. It seems no rules apply — human-sized eggs, leopard bodysuits and waist-high slits welcome. This year was no exception. Some of the music industry’s most popular artists, from Rihanna to Ciara to Katy Perry, were sporting ensembles ranging from revealing and sexy to over-the-line skanky (Miley Cyrus’ side boob and accompanying dreamcatcher tattoo). Ciara Cuts In At The Black Eyed Peas’ Benefit Gig

There’s never a shortage of attention getting outfits when the Black Eyed Peas throw a party.Taboo did his part for the home team at the 7th Annual Peapod Benefit Concert, ingeniously incorporating his memoir (on sale now!) as an accessory to his Rhythm-Nation-meets-matador ensemble. But Ciara won the night with a dress both more subtle and not, featuring parallel holes cut out of her side of the slinky, skin-tight number. It’s an optical illusion: are snakes are going to eat her boobs, or is her dress shaped an alien’s head?

Halloween ain’t just for kids anymore. Celebs stepped out over the weekend in outfits that were equal parts scary and sexy. Kim Kardashian strutted her stuff as a Bavarian looking Red Riding Hood. Did she pick it up at Oktoberfest along with her dirndl? Coco and her Great Pumpkins hit the town as a (plastic surgeon’s?) nurse, and Snooki rocked it as…Queen of the Pickles?

Okay, we’ll be honest: we don’t know what a lot of these outfits are supposed to be. But that’s the magic of Halloween! We don’t have to! It’s the one night of the year where it’s not slutty, it’s a costume! Tights, lots of skin, and body glitter: it ain’t just for skanks anymore.

2010 VMAs White Carpet Winners: The 12 Best Dressed Stars Of The Night

While the 2010 VMAs were a wee bit more subdued than last year’s show, the white carpet was full of fashion hits, misses and WTFs. Lucky for us, when the stars got it right, they got it way right.

Our best dressed list is varied to say the least; there are no easy to spot trends or styles that everyone embraced. But there is is one thing that unifies this crew: they all know how to play up their best features and their personalities to a tee. Ashley Greene (aka Audrey Hepburn reincarnated) nails the short, sexy and cute look, Katy Perry is playful yet perfect and Gaga is, as always, Gaga. Nothing is sexier than being true to you, amirite? Chris Brown And Courtney Love Show Their Faces At Marina Abramovic Party

From the middle of March til the end of May, performance artist Marina Abramovic spent every day sitting silently at the Museum of Modern Art in NY as part of her The Artist Is Present exhibit, while “visitors were encouraged to sit silently across from the artist for a duration of their choosing, becoming participants in the artwork.” Finally, after days upon days upon days of holding her bladder (Abramovic claims she held in her bodily functions during the eight hour stints) and being stared upon by the curious, the obsessed, the teary-eyed and even the famous (Lou Reed! James Franco! Kim Cattrall!), it was time for Abramovic to hobnob with the cultural elite at a wrap party. Attending alongside that elite were such unexpected celebs as the cosmetically altered Courtney Love and the cosmetically altering Chris Brown—two people we’d hate to be stuck across from for any length of time. Maxim Hot 100 Party Brings The Good, The Bad And The WTF?!

Alison Brie, Tila Tequila, Tom Green & Amber Rose

Maxim’s Hot 100 party last night in LA was predictably high on hotties if low on superstars—the only member of the Katy Perry-led Hot 100 top ten to attend was model Olivia Munn. But that doesn’t mean some future sex symbols weren’t in attendance—if the drooling tongues of Community and Mad Men fans are anything to go by, Alison Brie should score a lot higher than #99 in 2011. On the other hand, we’d be awfully happy if Tila Tequila failed to rank next year (though maybe us gossiphounds shouldn’t take a woman willing roll around on the red carpet for granted). But as crazy as Miss Tequila may get, the hands-down strangest sight of the night was Kanye sidepiece Amber Rose posing with Tom Green for the cameras. Please don’t leave Kanye for the stud, Amber! Hot Messes Rule Us “Hot Hollywood” Party

Us Magazine scored an impressive number of celebrities for their Hot Hollywood party in LA last night—too bad they took “hot” to mean “gaudy and loud.” While Ciara‘s skimpy canary yellow mini-dress looked like a popcorn bag, at least she didn’t go meta like Kelly Osbourne, with her little black dress reading “LITTLE BLACK DRESS” on the back. But despite those flops and other questionable choices like Anna Kendrick‘s sea-blue shirt and skirt and Sheryl Crow‘s sundress (no one’s a hippie at an Us party, Sheryl), we’d have to crown Jennifer Lopez the hottest mess at Hot Hollywood for yet again busting out the J-Lo Face.
